Predicting your years with better romance or marriage luck 八字看情人姻缘

How do you find out which year that you may have better romance or marriage luck?

You can find the clues in your Bazi birth chart. If you do not know your own "daymaster" element, please go to www.bazi-calculator.com, key in your birthday and find your "daymaster" in the top row of the day column.

In Bazi, annual luck (means current year) shows the possible events that might happen to a person. The year stem reflects what can be seen by the public. Hence if the year stem is the element representing wealth star (zheng-cai/ pian-cai, wife/ lover for male) or power star (zheng-guan/ qi-sha, husband/ lover for female), it means the likelihood of lover or marriage partner showing up in that year.

You don't need to know what is "year stem" as long as you can read the last digit of each year like the "5" in 2025-- simply read the tables below to find your years of better love luck.

The tables below summarize the exact year that lover or marriage partner is more likely to show up. For example, a Jia-wood male daymaster (person), will likely run into romance (if single) or affair (if married) when a year with last digit 0 (Geng-metal year, e.g., 2030). The same person may get married in a Xin-metal year (e.g., 2031) if he is single. Similar logic is applied for female daymasters too.

YEARS WITH BETTER LOVER AND MARRIAGE LUCK TABLE

SUPER BONUS: This is another BOGO article. You may use the year reference of these tables to keep an eye on your spouse or lover during his or her "love luck" years, followed by wife or husband luck years. For example, if your girl friend or wife is a Geng-metal person, you pay extra attention to her activities during Bing-fire (e.g. 2026) and Ding-fire years (2027). Bing-fire year is more "dangerous". If your boy friend or husband is a Geng-person, it would be years with the last digit 4 or 5.

Find out your husband's innate feeling about you without asking

Your husband may not tell you how relevant or important of your presence to him. But you can find out this innate feeling by checking his birth chart with Bazi astrology.

In Bazi, wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) represent wife, mistress and girl friends for male. Naturally, these are the critical info to examine in your husband's chart. There are 3 major aspects to check:

Is there any +wealth star (zheng-cai) in the natal chart?
The strength (how strong or weak) of the wealth star.
The distance between the day stem (daymaster, DM) and wealth star.

WIFE RELEVANCE RATING BASED ON HUSBAND BIRTH CHART

1. DM sits on +wealth star (zheng-cai); +wealth is strong ; only +wealth star/s are present in the chart: "DM" is the daymaster or owner of the chart. This means wife star sits on the day branch or spouse palace. Wife has the highest relevance from the perspective of husband with these combinations. He pays close attention to wife, loves her dearly and tries to fulfill any request that wife asks.

2. DM sits on -wealth star (pian-cai); -wealth is strong ; only -wealth star/s are present in the chart: This means wife star sits on the day branch or spouse palace. Wife still has the high relevance from the perspective of husband with these combinations. But -wealth is same gender to DM and not yin-yang balanced. So some minor confrontations or verbal fights occur occasionally.

3. Both + and -wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) show up in the chart; +wealth is strong and close to DM ; -wealth star is weak and far away from DM: Wife still has significant relevance from the perspective of husband with these combinations. In reality, husband is prone to affairs, but he is concerned with wife's feeling and will keep his affairs hidden. In short, despite his infidelity, he loves wife more than the mistress.

4. Both + and -wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) show up in the chart; -wealth is strong and close to DM ; +wealth star is weak and far away from DM: Wife has low relevance from the perspective of husband with these combinations. In short, he loves mistress more than the wife.

5. Chart has no wealth star: Wife has insignificant relevance from the perspective of husband. He may not care about the feeling and needs of his wife at all.

Marriage timing: Early or Late? 看早婚晚婚　

In the marital context of Bazi, wealth stars represent wife or mistress for male; power stars stand for husband or lover for female.

The enemy of wealth star is peer star because peer star "snatches" or steals wealth star in Bazi.

The enemy of power star is output star because output star "hurts" power star.

The above brief introduction may help you to understand the marriage timing summary below.

"Early marriage" means getting married before the age of 25.

"Late marriage" refers to marriage after age 30.

MARRIAGE TIMING: EARLY VS. LATE

1. Natal chart stem level has "jealous combination", chart owner (daymaster or DM) likely has early marriage ("Jealous combination" is when two identical stems or branches combine with ONE stem or branch),

2. Natal chart has 3-meetings (San-Hui 三会) or 3-unities (San-He 三合), DM has early marriage tendency.

3. If the stem and branch of luck periods formed has 6-combinations 六合 or 3-unities with natal chart, DM will have higher probability of getting married during this 10-years-luck or annual luck period.

4. Strong male DM with strong wealth stars (Zheng-cai/ Pian-cai) but no peer stars (Bi-jian/ Jie-cai) in stem level, when running into wealth luck period (10YL or annual luck)-- marriage time.

5. Strong female DM with strong power stars but no output stars (Shi-shen/ Shang-guan) in stem level, when running into power luck period (Zheng-guan/ Qi-sha, 10YL or annual luck)-- marriage time.

6. Male DM with numerous peer stars but no wealth star (or wealth star is weak or imprisoned) and his first two 10-year-lucks are peer luck, he is prone to late marriage.

7. Female DM with numerous output stars but no power star (or power star is weak or imprisoned) and her first two 10-year-lucks are output luck, she is prone to late marriage.

8. Male DM has excessive strong wealth stars but is not qualify for "follow wealth" profile chart, is likely to marry late.

9. Female DM has excessive strong power stars but is not qualify for "follow power" profile chart, is likely to marry late.

How to check one loves his wife or mistress more?

There is a saying in Taiwan about the nature of man-- "Nine out of ten men cheat. The 10th man is impotent."

While this may be a sweeping generalization, but it is pretty close to the truth or world population would have been much smaller.

In this article, we utilize the power of Bazi or 4-pillars astrology to find out if a man loves his wife or mistress/ girl friend more by examining certain feature in his birth chart. "Mistress or girl friend" here is defined as a woman who have repeated sexual relationship with a married man. This does NOT include the one-night stand affairs.

BAZI FEATURES OF MAN WITH MISTRESS/ GIRL FRIEND

1. Chart with -wealth star (pian-cai) stronger than +wealth star (zheng-cai): -Wealth star represents mistress and +wealth star wife for a male chart. When -wealth star is stronger than +wealth, it implies his mistress is more capable than wife. Hence this man tends to prefer or love the mistress more.

2. Chart with -wealth star (pian-cai) exposed in stem level and +wealth star (zheng-cai) hidden in branch level: -Wealth star showing up in stem level means mistress is visually seen in public with this man. This also means husband interacts with mistress more in public. This may also be a type of showing off. +Wealth star is hidden in stem level means husband rarely goes out with wife. He may be uncomfortable to show off wife in public with him. In short, this implies mistress has higher priority or status in this man's mind.

3. Chart with +wealth star (zheng-cai) "gaining position" 妻星得位 and strong: In Bazi, "gaining position" happens when a +wealth star sits in spouse palace or day-branch. If a husband chart with +wealth wife star gaining position or with nurturing by other star or with multiple +wealth stars, this means wife is strong, capable and intolerant of a mistress. This husband is also likely a "wife-fearing" person or even bullied by his wife.

4. Chart with multiple -wealth stars (pian-cai): This means -wealth mistress star is strong and with stronger karma connection with husband. He is likely to love the mistress more than the wife. He may even have no love or feeling for wife.

The above info is useful for any woman to weed out potential unfaithful partner before investing too much energy and resources on the guy.

How to check promiscuous charts 好色

Bazi chart characteristics of people who are promiscuous:

1. "Violating" peach-blossom star 犯桃花: Zi, wu, mao and you are the four "peach-blossom" stars. Peach-blossom star stands for romanticism, sentimental, sexual/ physical attraction and lust. The following conditions are "violating peach-blossom":

Day stem with shen or zi or chen and with you in another branch
Day stem with hai or mao or wei and with zi in another branch
Day stem with yin or wu or xu and with mao in another branch
Day stem with si or you or chou and with wu in another branch

Chart with more than one peach-blossom stars (zi, wu, mao and you) is very sociable and attractive to opposite sex.

2. Chart is too dry or too wet: When a chart is too dry, the chart looks for water. Water represents sex in Bazi. When a chart is too wet implies it has too much water and wet earth. Strong water means chart owner has strong kidneys and hence sex drive.

3. Chart has many combinations: Branch combinations like 3-meetings, 3-unities and 6-combinations, whether within the natal chart and/ or with luck period, means this person is very sociable and prone to affairs. Same logic for stem combinations.

4. Chart has mixing of zheng-cai and pian-cai (+/- wealth stars) for males: Zheng-cai stands for wife and pian-cai mistress for males. Chart with mixing of these two stars implies this male is likely to have extra-marital affairs if married and multiple sex partners if single.

5. Chart has mixing of zheng-guan and qi-sha (+/- power stars) for females: Zheng-guan stands for husband and qi-sha lover for females. Chart with mixing of these two stars implies this female is likely have extra-marital affairs if married and multiple sex partners if single.

6. Chart has numerous (2+) shi-shen and shang-guan (+/- output stars): Shi-shen and shang-guan are the "output" (excretions) of the person. Chart with strong output stars means chart owner is more self-directed and lacking self-control. Output stars also represent sex organ and sexuality.

You do not need to freak out if your partner meets one or two of the above conditions. If s/he meets 3 or more conditions, you probably should keep an eye on him/her or find a "backup" partner.

How to check if a man loves his wife OR mistress more?

There are many one-woman man in this world. But there are also multiple-women man too. How can we know if one is a one-woman or multiple-women man? How can we figure out if he loves his wife or mistress more? This sounds like a soap opera but gets your attention.

ONE-WOMAN VS. MULTIPLE WOMEN MAN
We can quickly find out if one is a loyal or "play the field" man by check his Bazi natal chart. In Bazi, +wealth (zheng-cai) star represents formally married wife and -wealth (pian-cai) stands for mistress or lover. Hence if -wealth star shows up in a male chart, the chance of this person has mistress is higher.

Note: You can check if someone is a one-woman or multiple-women man by keying in his birthday and hour in this www.bazicalculator.com website. However, this calculator uses "direct wealth" to represent +wealth and "indirect wealth" for -wealth. Look at the chart at left hand side only and check if there is any "indirect wealth"-- sign of mistress.

Characteristics of a multiple-woman male chart:

contains both + and -wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian cai)
may have "hidden" wealth star/s in the branch/es
if there is no -wealth star in his natal chart, but luck period/s bring in -wealth star

WIFE VS. MISTRESS
By the same token, through analyzing the relative strength and locations of +wealth and -wealth stars, we can deduce if this man favors his wife or mistress more.

Man loves mistress more scenarios:

-wealth star is stronger than +wealth star: this means mistress is more capable than the wife or has qualities that wife does not possess.
-wealth star/s show up in stem level and +wealth star is hidden in branch level: whatever in stem level means "visible" to public whereas in branch level is not seen by the public. This man is brazenly showing off his mistress in public and rarely taking wife out socializing.
multiple -wealth stars in the chart: this means -wealth star or mistress is strong and keeping the attention of the man.
proximity to the daymaster (man): "proximity" here means -wealth star sits next or below the daymaster like in the day-stem (strongest), month-stem or hour-stem. Being "close" means deeper relationship with the man.

Man loves wife more scenarios:

+wealth star is stronger than -wealth star: this means mistress is less capable than his wife and may have some undesirable qualities.
+wealth star/s show up in stem level and -wealth star is hidden in branch level: whatever in stem level means "visible" to public whereas in branch level is not seen by the public. This man is "hiding" or keeping the mistress in secret.
multiple +wealth stars in the chart: this means +wealth star or wife is strong and may not tolerate taking a mistress in.
+wealth or wife star "gains position": "gains position" here means wife star sitting in spouse palace and becomes very powerful. This man is likely "afraid" or "dominated" by wife and dares not getting a mistress.
proximity to the daymaster (man): "proximity" here means +wealth star sits next or below the daymaster like in the day-stem (strongest), month-stem or hour-stem.

Secrets of branch hidden elements 地支藏干秘中秘

A Bazi natal chart consists of four pillars representing one's birth year, month, day and hour. Each pillar has one "stem" and one "branch". Stem is external and "visible" to the public. Branch is internal and not visible to the outside world.

Out of the 12 possible branches, zi, wu, mao and you have the purest energy or the least "hidden" elements. The rest has 2 or more hidden elements.

These hidden elements are our windows to the chart owner's private matters like relationship, personal qualities, "dirty laundries" and the like.

We can decode these branch hidden elements by applying 10 transformation stars ("10-gods") meaning onto the hidden elements.

DECODING BRANCH HIDDEN ELEMENTS

1. Female chart: if her power star has hidden wealth star, it means her husband is likely to have a mistress or another relationship or at the least, he is interested in another woman.

2. Male chart: if his wealth star has hidden power star, it means his wife is likely to have a lover or another relationship or at the least, she is interested in another man.

3. If one's output star has hidden wealth star, it means one has money stashed away.

4. If one's output star has hidden resource star, it means (1) one has concern for his/ her older relatives and (2) his/ her children are well educated.

5. If one's peer star has hidden output star, it means his/ her siblings are talented and eloquent.

6. If one's resource star has hidden power star, it means his/ her parents have power and status.

7. If one's power star has hidden resource star, it means s/he always escape misfortune or disaster unscratched (一生逢凶化吉).

How to check out your husband's lover from your own Bazi chart

Today is your lucky or unlucky day if you need the knowledge of your husband's lover. The info is hidden in your own Bazi chart!

Power star (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) represents the husband of a female Bazi chart. By checking the interactions of your husband star within the chart and during luck periods, you can figure out some specific information of your "competition".

Here are the secrets:

If your power star is combined away by a resource star ("yin"), your hubby's lover is older than you.
If your power star is combined away by an output star ("shi-shen/ shang-guan"), your hubby's lover is younger than you or about the age of your children!
If the power star is combined away by a peer star ("bi-jian/ jie-cai"), your hubby's lover is about the same age as you and she is likely your close friend!
If the power star is combined away by a wealth star ("zheng-cai/ pian-cai"), your hubby's lover runs into his life due to work or yourself.

Affair Terminator Feng Shui 斩桃花

Today is your lucky day! This is another ROGO (read-one-get-one free) article.

If your partner or spouse cheats on you, but for whatever reasons (like the person is the only meal ticket, trophy wife,....) you still want to keep her/ him, this is probably what you can do to get rid of the "third party" without shooting at each other.

In Chinese metaphysics, affairs and romance are grouped under "peach blossom". Each person has a peach blossom star or location in his/ her house.

"Peach blossom" is a delicate flower that could be easily suppressed or crashed. By doing something on the person's peach blossom location, you may terminate or enhance his/ her romance-related activities.

HOW TO TERMINATE AFFAIR OF CHEATING PARTNER
To get rid of your spouse's mistress or lover, follow these 3 steps:
1. Find out the Chinese zodiac animal sign of your spouse. Read the following article if you have no clue about Chinese zodiac animal:

Bazi: How to check the cheating potential of your husband

Will your husband cheat? Believe it or not, the answer may be found in your own Bazi chart!

In Bazi, power stars (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) represent husband/ boy friend for women. To check if your husband will cheat or not, you look at the interactions of power stars with your peer stars (bi-jian/ jie-cai) in your own Bazi chart. If there is/ are interactions would mean potential signs of cheating husbands or boy friends. It could also mean long courtship/ cohabitation with separations as ending.

If your natal chart meets any one of the following conditions, your husband is a potential cheater:
1. "Peer star snatches power star"(比劫夺官 ): Peer stars are daymaster's (DM) sisters, friends of same gender and colleagues. Power star is husband. When peer star snatching power star happens, it means close friend or even sister has "snatched" DM's husband away or simply having affair with DM's husband. The likelihood is higher when peer and power star are in the same pillar. If peer star and power star show up in stem level, it means they have the affair openly without fear. If both stars are in the branch level, the affair is going on in secret.
2. Power star is combined away (官杀被合 ): Power star represents a woman DM's husband. When it is combined away means her husband is taken away . For example, bing-fire is the power star of xin-metal female DM. If there is another xin-metal in the chart, especially if it is next to bing-fire, the probability of xin-metal DM losing her husband to another female will be high.
3. Peer star in day-branch (日支见比劫星 ): Day-branch is the location of spouse palace or husband in a chart. This palace prefers seeing wealth or power but not peer star. If peer star is unfavorable in the chart, mistress may likely show up.

For example: female chart
YEAR: Geng-wu
DAY: Yi-you
MONTH: Geng-yin
HOUR: Geng-chen

Female Geng-metal DM's husband is wu-fire. Wu-fire is in the year pillar. This means her husband is likely from far away or out of state/ province. Wu-fire is surrounded by metal (this means peer stars snatching him away). This women had many unsuccessful romances with out-of-state boy friends.

If your chart does not see any power star, never mind if your husband will cheat or not, worry about how to get a husband first. Usually this means you may have problem getting a husband or lacking relationship with husband if getting one.

Male readers may find a new explanation for cheating-- "wife's chart shows that I will cheat". Female readers can tell their hubbies why they keep following them or put a male chastity belt on them in certain periods. However, there are subtle and low profile Bazi remedies than these in-your-face fixes.

Will someone "steal" your spouse or lover ?

How do you check if your spouse is prone to be "snatched" away by another person or a "cheating heart"?

Below is a list of Bazi or 4-pillars conditions in a chart that will have love competitions or "spouse-snatcher" showing up:

Male chart with numerous peer stars (bi-jian/ jie-cai)
-- Zheng-cai (+wealth) star stands for wife and pian-cai (-wealth) mistress for man. Peer stars are the competitions that want to snatch your love. This is especially valid for man DM with yang stems like jia, bing, wu, geng and ren. If natal chart and/or luck period comes another +peer (bi-jian), someone is preying on your wife or lover. For example, ren-water male DM has another ren in his natal chart and/or another ren coming from luck period.

Female chart with numerous output stars (shang-guan/ shi-shen)
-- Shang-guan (+ouput) and shi-shen (-output) stars attracts opposite sex but also the cause of losing one's love. This is especially valid if +output is in the month-branch or day-branch. It means her spouse may find another competition for you

Female DM with yin stem like yi, ding, ji, xin and gui
-- if her natal chart and/or luck period comes another -peer (bi-jian), someone is preying on your husband or lover. For example, ding-fire female DM has another ding-fire in her natal chart and/or another ding coming from luck period.

When luck period clashes or combines with one's spouse palace (day-branch)
-- assuming you have already married or with a steady partner, when this happens, there will be turbulence in your relationship. This is especially likely when bi-jian or peach-blossom star (zi, wu, mao, or you) clashes or combines with spouse palace.

When the wealth star of a male chart combines with luck period
-- this is the signal of another woman coming into the system. Wealth star stands for wife and mistress for man.

When the power star of a female chart combines with luck period
-- this is the signal of another man coming into the system. Power star stands for husband and lover for woman.

PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE
Whether your spouse or partner is guilty of cheating or not, is not always clearcut. It could be the "script" or fate already written in your natal Bazi chart. The best strategy is to read the natal charts of yourself and your potential partner before going "steady". If it is too late to do that, read the chart for the most dangerous years and avoid or keep an eye on opposite sex interactions during the period. There are some possible preventive remedies shown in my "Destiny and Luck management" courses (see below for details).

Problems of excessive wealth elements in your chart

Previous post discusses about charts with little or no wealth star, the focus of this post is the opposite-- charts with too many or strong wealth stars.

Before we begin, a quick lesson on the relationship between wealth star and other elements is needed.

In Bazi, using the daymaster (DM, chart owner) as center of reference, there are 5 possible scenarios:

"what I control" is wealth element to the daymaster. Besides wealth, it also stands for wife and mistress for male. Wealth produces power and controls resource stars.
"what I produce" is output element to the daymaster. Besides talent/ IQ, it also stands for children. Output produces wealth and controls power stars.
"what produces me" is resource element to the daymaster. Besides reputation/ health, it also stands for mother or older generation. Resource produces peer (DM) and controls output stars.
"what controls me" is power element to the daymaster. Besides career, it also stands for authority, boss and husband/ lovers for female. Power produces resources and controls peer (DM) stars.
"same as me" is peer element to the daymaster. Besides sibling/peers, it also stands for competitions, coworkers and friends. Peer (DM) produces output and controls wealth stars.

Now comes to the "bad" news about having too many wealth elements in a chart:

1. Bad for marital relationship

-- strong wealth element in a male chart means multiple wives or mistress, especially there are -wealth (pian-cai) in the chart.
2. Jinxing mother
-- Wealth controls resource element. Resource stands for mother. Hence mother may be chronically sick, DM has bad relationship with mother or mother has obstacles in life.
3. Producing below average or stupid kids
-- Output stars produce wealth. Strong wealth means output stars are drained to produce the wealth. Output stars also stand for children. Hence DM's children may be stupid, underachievers, incapable, unfilial or "free-loading" type.
4. DM could be dirt poor!
-- Weak DM with many wealth elements is actually poor with many desires!
