Discover Your Lucky Elements Based on Life Experience..

Below is a simple method of finding out your lucky elements and timing based on your life experience. It is derived from Chinese 4-Pillars astrology.

1. If your overall luck/ feeling is better in the first half than the second half of the year, your luck elements are likely wood and/ or fire.

2. If your overall luck/ feeling is better in the second half than the first half of the year, your luck elements are likely metal and/ or water.

Note: "Year" here is based on solar calendar which is about 1 month late than the western calendar. First half of the year is around February to July. Second half is around August to January.

3. If your overall luck/ feeling is better in the early morning and before noon than afternoon and evening, your luck elements are likely wood and/ or fire.

4. If your overall luck/ feeling is better in the afternoon than in the early morning and before noon, your luck elements are likely metal and/ or water.

HOW TO ENHANCE YOUR LUCK WITH THIS INFO?

I. Wood and fire luck elements

Lucky colors: green, red, purple; avoid grey, gold, black and blue colors
Lucky directions: east, SE and south; avoid NW, west, and north
Luck seasons: spring and summer
Lucky numbers: 3,8,2,7

II. Metal and water luck elements

Lucky colors: grey, gold, black and blue; avoid red, purple and brown colors
Lucky directions: NW, west, and north; avoid south, SW and NE
Luck seasons: autumn and winter
Lucky numbers: 1,6,4,9

To max out your luck, you may sit/ sleep in your lucky direction, travel towards your lucky directions for help/ opportunities (also for the best escape directions); decorate your house and dress in your lucky colors and use your lucky numbers when buying lottery tickets or anything involving numbers like the street address of your rental property or car license numbers.

These lucky elements are the equivalent of your favorable elements ("useful god") based on your Bazi or 4-pillars birth chart. The rationale is to max out auspicious energy around you to enhance your luck.

This simple method can be further refined and more specific. But then you may need to take the following Bazi course:

I ate 12 Rainbows today!

It has been sizzling hot here for the past week or so. I got stuck with my pet whale indoor. I'm bored.

I showed Grandpa Ken my sad puppy look. This always works wonder.

"Let's visit the water dragon in our yard." Grandpa told me.

"Water! Water! Thank you Grandpa!"

"Open your mouth when you are happy!"

Suddenly, I saw a rainbow.

The rainbow looked tasty, so I ate it.

"Yummy!" I've eaten 12 rainbows!

"Oops! What's happening to me?"

I was showered by a golden light.

I was transformed into a water-dragon dog!

Client-based calculation of favorable elements ("Useful Gods") 八字喜用神经验查法

This method of calculating favorable elements is based on client's real life experience. The Bazi reader asks his client's subjective rating of his/ her experience for at least five years (the more years the better) based on the following questions:

1. Do you have better luck in the first half OR second half of year xxxx? (repeat this question for 5+ years). Note: "Year" here refers to solar year. First half is from February to July; second half is from August to January.

2. Do you have better luck in AM (noon / morning) OR PM (afternoon/ evening)?

FAVORABLE ELEMENTS

Better luck in first half of the year-- favorable elements are likely wood and/ or fire
Better luck in second half of the year-- favorable elements are likely metal and/ or water
Better luck during AM of the day-- favorable elements are likely wood and/ or fire
Better luck during PM of the day-- favorable elements are likely metal and/ or water

You need to compare the favorable elements found with this method to the ones based on Bazi theory calculation to see if they match. If the results do not match, you check if the years under consideration spread across two 10-years luck periods (10YL). It is also possible that favorable elements of this chart change from one 10YL to another.

In general, client's subjective rating is a more accurate reflection of reality than the result from Bazi theory. This is because theory cannot take into account of the social and physical environments (Feng Shui) of the client into consideration. The energies from these environment can affect the balance of a Bazi chart.

DO YOU NEED A GRAND DUKE TALISMAN?

1. If you have the Chinese zodiac birth animal sign of pig (born in 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983 1995, 2007, 2019)

2. If ANY pillar of your Bazi natal chart has a "Hai" or pig: Click the following link and enter your birthday and birth hour in the "birth chart" windows, to generate you Bazi natal chart. Then check if there is any Hai or pig in the chart. You only need to check the left side Birth Chart. For example, this Nov. 16, 1995, 21:01 chart:

From right to left: Year, Month, Day, Hour

-- This person is in big trouble this year with pig branches because Grand Duke clashes all the pillars. This could be major misfortunes or even death.

MEANING OF GRAND DUKE CLASHING EACH PILLAR:

Year pillar: you or your senior relative may have obstacles or misfortune
Month pillar: your parents or siblings may have misfortune
Day pillar: you or your spouse may have misfortune, divorce or even death
Hour pillar: your children or younger relative may be in trouble

You are strongly recommended to get a GD talisman if you have a pig in any pillar in your natal chart, especially the day pillar (Yi-hai, Ding-hai, Ji-hai, Xin-hai and Gui-hai). A MUST if you have Yi-hai or Ding-hai day pillar because both you and your spouse are in danger.

People with the following Chinese zodiac animal signs could also be benefited from a GD talisman: snake, monkey and tiger.

HOW TO GET THIS GD TAILISMAN? This year we use digital delivery of Grand Duke Talismans. Grand Duke Talisman Charity Drive 2024

This post is based on my past posts about "Grand Duke Talisman charity drive" with updates for 2024.

If you have read my old message about functions of Grand Duke, you know that there are two Grand Dukes watching over your shoulder, counting the good and bad deeds that you have done and executing rewards and misfortunes accordingly. Our Grand Duketalismans are consecrated with the energy from Grand Duke and his mother Dou-mou (mother or commander of 60 Grand Dukes). Hopefully, our talismans will motivate Grand Duke to be easy and generous on you when his mother is around him.

Why do we ask for a charitable donation for this talisman? When your talisman is grounded with a charitable deed, GD is less likely to execute any misfortunes due from your karma account. The rationale for donation is an exchange of energy-- using a charitable deed in exchange of protection energy from Grand Duke. One cannot get something out of nothing.

2024 GRAND DUKE GENERAL LI-CHENG

2024 is Jia-chen or year of wooden-dragon. Grand Duke for the year is General Li-cheng who was a county official during Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). Li was venerated for his honest and upright administration.

DO YOU NEED A 2023 GRAND DUKE TALISMAN?

Anyone can use a Grand Duke talisman for enhancing luck and protection. But for 2024, five groups of people need Grand Duke Talismans:

1. "Fu-yin" or same animal sign of Grand Duke 值太岁-- people with dragon sign

Birth years: 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012
Symptoms: obstacles, stagnation or running "reverse" instead of forward and not suitable for travels.

2. "Fan-yin" or "clashing" the animal sign of Grand Duke 冲太岁-- people with dog sign

Birth years: 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018
Symptoms: big fluctuations in luck, accident, sickness, surgery, losing competitions/wealth, moving, death, changing job

3. "Hai" or "harming" the animal sign of Grand Duke 害太岁-- people with rabbit sign

Birth years: 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023
Symptoms: interpersonal relationship problems, negative romance, marital problem, backstabbing

4. "Po" or "breaking" the animal sign of Grand Duke 破太岁-- -- people with ox sign

Birth years: 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021
Symptoms: backstabbing at work, over-consumption, no luck in non-regular income like gambling/ stock and success slips away in the last minute

5. "Xing" or "penalizing" the animal sign of Grand Duke 刑太岁---- people with dragon sign

Birth years: 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012
Symptoms: big fluctuations in luck, wealth, career, relationship and health; traffic accident, sickness, surgery, losing competitions/wealth, moving, death, negative romance, quarrels and etc.

GRAND DUKE TALISMAN FOR FENG SHUI REMEDY

House violating Grand Duke
In 2024 Jia-chen year, if your house faces chen-dragon mountain or SE1 (112.5- 127.5 degree) direction, your house is said to be "violating Grand Duke." House violating GD will affect the overall luck, health and well-being of the people living inside. The remedy is either avoiding movement, construction, earth-digging and demolition there or put up a Grand Duke talisman facing SE1 direction. The opposite side of Grand Duke is Year-breaker (Sui-po, NW1 or Xu-dog mountain). This location should avoid digging and activities too.

Even with the GD talisman, if you need to do construction, you still need to do a date-selection for an auspicious date and start digging on a non-GD direction and finish last on the GD direction.

Desk violating Grand Duke

If your desk or wherever you sit for an extended time faces Chen-dragon mountain or SE1 direction, you can put up a Grand Duke talisman there for protection. It is not auspicious to face the Grand Duke direction. It weakens your competition power in business/career and examinations. However, if you arrange your seat so that SE1 will be at your back (and put a Grand Duke talisman there), you will get Grand Duke as support and is good for competition and business (not recommended for people with dog animal sign).

Ken's saving the world 2024 predictions

2023 will be over in less than 2 months. The Year of Dragon and also Feng Shui Period 9 will start in 3 months. Thus now is the busy season for crystal gazing or mud-throwing or "predictions" for year 2024.

A quick search of YouTube shows both dead and living psychics, from Nostradamus, the late Bulgarian Baba Vanga, to the famous Indian psychic kid and even Simpson the cartoon character, make mostly horrible predictions about 2024. War, flooding, drought, fire, earthquake, famine, WWIII, pandemic,..... Any possible disaster under the sun is included. Chinese psychic and metaphysicians also make similar predictions. This makes one wonder if the end of humanity or world will happen in 2024. Below are some video title screens captured from Youtube:

If we believe the Buddhist theory about "reality follows mind" (境隨心轉 jìng-suí-xīn-zhuan), this spread of negative predictions creates a mass consciousness that could possibility become realities or self-fulfilling prophecy.

To counteract these negative predictions, Ken has made 10 predictions about 2024:

The sun will rise from the east and set in the west everyday.
Everyday in 2024 is a good day for you.
You will have good wealth luck.
You will be healthy in 2024.
