Disney+'s Korean reality show "Battle of Fates" 《天机试炼场》

Intro:  The post below is taken from from my Bazi discussion group to show that I am still alive.  Current year of fire horse affects almost every earth citizen under the sun.  I hibernated for a few months.

This is a "Survivor" version reality show for fortune-tellers covering Tarot Cards, 4P, face/ foot/ bone reading, mediumship, psychic, shaman, name-reading, Yi-Jing, .... etc; with 49 fortune-tellers competing (like Japan's "Iron Chef" 20+ years ago) for supreme.  This show is hot, especially in SE Asia.  Copycat shows with localized contents are produced in many Asian countries.

You can check reviews in YouTube by searching :  "Battle of Fates".  But English reviews are  briefer than Chinese (Mandarin) versions.  Chinese versions have episode by episode coverage in summary (so you don't need to subscribe to Disney+ or wasting too much time watching the whole series).

Below is a 4P chart of someone who hit the lottery jackpot in one of the episodes.

The show's explanation for hitting lottery is:  "Because this chart has may peer stars which symbolize wealth and also has both + and -wealth stars (Zheng-cai and pian-cai)".   Do you agree?  (Wu-earth DM here).

Some online discussions think this show is fake or highly manipulated like other reality shows, like edited out inaccurate predictions and only showing the accurate ones.

Many of these "destiny workers" or fortune-tellers have gone through bitter sufferings/ life experience or have a major void (e.g., missing a major family member, sickness, disability) in life.  This is quite common for practitioners whose work altering people's destinies.

With the world economy messed up by a few dictators, it is not surprising shows like "Battle of Fates" getting popular.  It satisfies people's need to find some methods for predicting their future.

Are you ready for the 2026- 27 "Russet Horse and Red Ram Disasters 赤馬紅羊劫"?

According to the Chinese 60-years cycle calendar, 2026 is the year of "russet horse" or the year with the strongest yang (masculine) fire energy.  2027 is the year of "red ram" or the year with the strong yin fire energy.  Because according to history, major natural and man-made disasters like flooding, fire, revolution, wars and the likes tend to happen during these two strong fire energy years  (e.g., 1846, 1906, 1966, 2026).  Chinese has called these two years "Russet Horse and Red Ram Disasters 赤馬紅羊劫". 

There are numerous videos on YouTube warning us about the upcoming of these "disaster" years with the following sensational titles:

-- "2026 is a trap:  Many People Will not Survive"

And more.

Insurance salesmen would love to see these videos get many views.  People may be scared and pump up their life insurance or purchase extra protection like earthquake, flooding, tornado and fire.

Should we lose sleep over these sensational videos?

The answer is both "yes" and "no".

"Yes" because of history shows whenever the fire energy of a year is strong, the world goes berserk.  Recent development in world politics also points to this direction--  jungle law and gunboat diplomacy resurface, trade war and real wars, mass political movements, mass layoffs due to AI, current icy weather and ....... 

"No" because we, as "ordinary people", there is not much we can do to change or resist global or macro changes.  All we can do are sit tight and "hope for blessing 自求多福".  "Blessing" or "Fuk 福" is a very low key request in Chinese.  It means "let one live his/ her life peacefully".  There is even a "God of Blessing" to handle this job.

Hence, a modest request for "blessing" is much easier to get from the "God of Blessing" than asking for hitting the lottery jackpot.  From the deity's perspective, any request that does little to change any destiny is easier to grant.  Believe me, deities are eager to please us mortals within their limits.

Below is a consecrated picture of "God of Blessing".  You may print it out in ID card size and carry with you for protection,  put it where you spend long hours or put it in your altar for worshipping.  

Based on the law of energy exchange,  you cannot get something out of nothing.  Please do an act of kindness (like feeding a homeless animal or helping a senior citizen) or make a small donation to charity to activate this "God of Blessing".
