Fertility Bazi: Women with problems giving birth

Bazi characteristics of women with problem giving birth:

1. Chart with strong resource stars (zheng-yin/ pian-yin):  Output stars (shi-shen/ shang-guan) represents children for a female.  Resource stars are the arch-enemies of output stars.  For example, the output star of a female Jia-wood daymaster (DM) is fire and resource star is water.  Water extinguishes fire.  Hence if a chart with strong resource star will be unfavorable for child-birth, especially if the resource star is in the hour pillar (children palace!)

2. Chart with daymaster sitting on "yang-knife":  Chart with yang-knife on day-branch is prone to abortion, miscarriage or uterus surgery.  Women with the following day-pillars are sitting on a "yang-knife":  bing-wu, ding-si, wu-wu, ji-si, ren-zi and gui-hai.

3. Chart with day-branch clashing hour branch:  Hour pillar is the "children palace".  When it is clashed means instability, damaging, obstacles in giving birth and also prone to miscarriage.  Here are the potential day-hour branch clashes:  yin-shen, mao-you, chen-xu, si-hai, zi-wu and chou-wei. 

4. Chart with children star in void:  Void means "void branch" here.  Void means "not there" or nothing.

5. Chart with children star entombed:  "Entombed" means hidden or lacking relationship with children.  For example, water is the children star for a female metal DM and there is no water element in her chart except a hidden gui-water in the Chen water tomb.

Reality follows Mind vs. Mind follows Reality

In simple terms, "reality follows mind" (境隨心轉 jìng-suí-xīn-zhuǎn) implies one's perception, intention or thought controls one's own reality and affects how one acts and behaves.  "Mind follows reality" (心隨境轉 xīn-suí-jìng-zhuǎn) means one's perception is dictated or manipulated by one's own reality and becomes a slave of this reality.

This topic may sound "sleepy" to you.  But if you grasp the concepts behind, you will have one foot stepped inside "Club Enlightenment".

To make these concepts easier to understand, please watch a 98 seconds video below about a 11 years old boy who had failed his exams in China, the land of "tiger moms":

The video may run too fast.  Let me recap the contents for you:
1.  This 11 years old boy got 7 points (out of 100) from a school exam.  A Chinese boy with this low and failing score is very likely scolded or beaten up by his parents.
Academic failure is a cardinal sin in the mind of traditional Chinese parents.
2.  Surprisingly, his father was very happy to see his boy get 7 points.  He had even bought a car-load of fireworks that costed him US$160 to celebrate the boy's exam result.
3.  It is because this boy had zero scores in his previous exams.
4.  After this incident, this boy has a change of attitude towards school works and become self-motivated to study.
5.  He got 57 points in an exam held a few days ago.

Originally I have planned to explain the dynamics behind.  But I don't want to sound like a preacher.  So I let you figure this out and make your own judgement.

How a disabled member affects Feng Shui

Earlier this month, the story of a 63 years old Brad Weldon and his 90 years old blind and immobile mother refused to evacuate from the Californian wild fire in his Paradise neighborhood grabs my attention.

Their house is the only house left surviving the fire in the neighborhood.  According to news report:

".... the flames came so close that Weldon laid down on the ground and turned the hose on himself – just hoping that the water would be enough to keep him alive.....Weldon says that with a change of wind, and 'angels here to watch us,' he and his mother escaped death........The fire has killed at least 50 people. More than 100 others are missing -- all of them from Paradise."

Over the years, some Feng Shui practitioners and me have observed an interesting phenomenon that a family with a disabled member (esp. if s/he cannot self-care), is more likely spared from major natural or man-made disasters.

A Taiwan master had observed a street sits on void line (bad Feng Shui) has all shops closed down except one that has a disabled member in the family.  In other words, a disabled family member can override negative Feng Shui.

I have also observed from my own relatives to people from other social circles that families with disabled members usually will survive in almost any economic condition.

This is based on a heaven or universal rule of "averaging"-- avoid granting too "perfect" or "imperfect" destinies to earthlings.  The common image of this phenomenon is seeing rich people with poor health and poor people with good health or rich people with no heir and poor people with many kids.

There is a saying in Chinese with similar meaning about this universal rule:

"Heaven would not fail a person.  Find one's way out from an impasse."
-- "天無绝人之路"

Hence, if your family has a disabled member, s/he probably is your Feng Shui insurance for avoiding catastrophe and economic hardship.  If you feel your current situation is less than satisfactory, it could be worse without this disabled member!

Bazi: Predicting Career or Job Changes

In modern age, few people stay in one job or company for life.  Most of us would change careers, jump to another company, getting promoted/ fired/ relocation or start our own business.  One may want to predict when such change is likely to happen-- consult your own Bazi chart and luck period.

Below are what to check for career changes in one's Bazi chart:

Year that -power star (qi-sha) shows up:  +power (zheng-guan) stands for stable job.  -power stands for innovation, new career, new plan or new business.  Hence annual luck that brings -power usually signifies changes in one's career.

Year that +power star (zheng-guan) combines with daymaster:  Examples are: yi-DM with geng power star; ding-DM with ren, ji-DM with jia.  When a luck period brings a +power star,  it usually has something to do with career, especially if power star is favorable to the chart.  When power star combines with DM, it is likely related to promotion or new opportunities.

Year when power stars (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) is clashed or combined:  Power stars represent work, position, duties and etc. Interactions with power star usually signifies changes in one's career.  If luck period has interaction with the power stars in natal chart, it will also brings changes in one's career.  If the interaction is from 10-year luck period, it means these changes could last for 10 years (or means frequent changes).

Year when resource star (zheng-yin/ pian-yin) is clashed or combined:  Resource stars represent contracts, documents, regulation, power, order and etc.  It also represents living and working environment.  Hence when annual luck clashes or combines with resource star, will likely prompt changes in career, including relocation of residence.  If annual luck creates "power and resource mutual nurturing 官印相生", DM is likely to have promotion. If the interaction is from 10-year luck period, it means these changes could last for 10 years (or means frequent changes).

Year with strong +output (shang-guan):  Strong +output will make DM think of changes and likely feel dissatisfied with current career or  cause disharmony in interpersonal relationship.  This could result in changing career due to DM's state of mind or simply pissing off the boss (and get fired).

Year with "traveling horse star":   "Traveling horse star" refers to the propensity to travel or moving (check below for details).  When annual luck brings a traveling horse star, DM is likely have changes in career.  If the star is from 10-year luck period, it means DM is prone to career changes or relocation in this 10 years.  Below is how to calculate your traveling horse star:

• year or day branch is yin, wu or xu, your traveling horse is shen
• year or day branch is si, you or chou, your traveling horse is hai
• year or day branch is hai, mao or wei, your traveling horse is si
• year or day branch is shen, zi or chen, your traveling horse is yin

Note for females:  Power stars mean husband or lover for female. So when power star is clashed, combined or showing up in your chart,  besides career changes, it could also mean something happens in your relationship department-- marriage, divorce, separation, lover, mistress and etc.

Bazi Characteristics of Poor People 窮人八字

People with "poor" profile Bazi charts usually work hard for money and live in challenging conditions.  If they run into accidental or unexpected wealth, they have problem keeping the wealth or even endangering their lives.  There are cases of poor people winning lottery and ended up poorer or even death.

Below are Bazi characteristics of people who are poor (check the diagram at end of article to DIY explanations) :

1. Chart with few output stars (shi-shen/ shang-guan) and no wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai)
2. Chart with few wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) but too many +power stars (zheng-guan)
3. Weak DM with with many +output stars (shang-guan) and shortage of resource stars (zheng-yin/ pian-yin) for DM support and control of output stars
4. Weak DM with numerous wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) with no peer stars (jie-cai/ bi-jian) to handle wealth
5. Chart with few wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) and no output stars (shi-shen/ shang-guan) to create wealth, but too many peer stars (jie-cai/ bi-jian) to snatch wealth
6. Chart with too many wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) and power stars (zheng-guan/ qi-sha)

If a chart with any one of the above conditions, DM is likely to have problems getting rich during his lifetime.

"Ken, my chart meets one of the conditions listed above.  What should I do?"

A chart usually has both good and bad luck periods.  You either seek the help of a Bazi reader or take my Bazi courses (especially "Destiny/Luck Mgmt. 2" and "Destiny/Luck Mgmt. 3 " to determine your good luck period, earn as much as you could and save for rainy days.  With DLM2/ 3 courses, they help you to create opportunities instead of waiting for mercy.

In search of the "one-woman man"

Most if not all women want a "one-woman man" as their spouse.  While "one-woman man" probably becomes an endangered species,  you may get lucky if you find a man with some of the following Bazi characteristics in his natal chart.  For our male readers here, you may get a "sudden enlightenment 頓悟" if you read this article from the beginning to the end without skipping anything (no enlightenment if you cheat).

For single woman, grab the guy if he has any of the following Bazi features:

1. +wealth (zheng-cai) sits in spouse palace:  +wealth stands for wife for male chart.  When wife star sits in spouse palace, it is considered a perfect star and palace match and means this male only loves this woman.  The probability of getting this guy is 1/60-- Wu-earth DM with zi-water as +wealth.  Wu-zi DM is usually NOT poor!  But you need to make sure there is no -wealth (pian-cai, stands for mistress) in other pillars before betting yourself to this guy.  The following four day-pillars are the "runners-up" with hidden +wealth in spouse palace:  jia-wu, ji-hai, xin-hai and ren-wu.
2. - output (shi-shen) sits in spouse palace:  -output is the original producer of +wealth.  When -output sits in spouse palace of a male chart, it means this man will wholeheartedly love, nurture and give-in to wife's demands, including the unreasonable ones.  The probability of getting this guy is 1/6.  Here are the day pillars that have -output in spouse palace: Bing-chen, bing-xu, ding-chou, ding-wei, wu-shen, ji-you, geng-zi, xin-hai, ren-yin and gui-mao.  Like in #1 above, make sure there is no -wealth (mistress) in other pillars.
3. Daymaster (DM) combines with +wealth:   +wealth stands for wife for a male chart.  When +wealth combines with DM, it means the couple gets along well and loves each other with a trusting relationship. The probability of getting this guy is less than 1/12.  Here are the DMs that will combine with +wealth (zheng-cai)--Geng-DM with yi  as +wealth;  bing-DM with xin, ren-DM with ding, jia-DM with ji and wu-DM with gui.  You may notice these men are all yang DMs. 
4. No combination in spouse palace:  Day-stem represents the man in a chart.  Day-branch represents his psyche and also spouse palace.  When day-branch has no combination with other branches, it means DM is likely a faithful husband with no association with other females.

Of course, you also have to check other pillars to see no other woman/ women is/ are in the chart,  if this guy jinxes wife or not, if he can be rich, if he will run into major life-threatening events in next 20- 30 years.......before placing your bet on the guy.  If you need help, take the following course:
