Your years of living dangerously? 10-Stems' failure and death luck 十干败亡运

 A special characteristic of Chinese metaphysics is using special terms involving gods, spirits, ghosts, devils, lust, indulgence, success, wealth, failure, deaths and the likes.  These terms could be anxiety-provoking if not pant-wetting to some people.  The following term could easily be included in the TOP-10 scariest terms in Bazi--  "10-Stems' failure and death luck (10-SFDL)".  Here is what the ancient Bazi classic "San Meng Tong Hui" said about this 10-SFDL:

古书《三命通会》十干败亡运的口诀: 

甲申乙酉见阎王，丙子丁亥急切防，
庚辛巳午风中烛，戊寅己卯亦重伤，
壬辰戌兼癸丑未，未别浮生入鬼乡。

How to read this chart:  For example, if your daymaster (DM) is Jia-wood,  there is NO yin- or mao-wood in the branch level of your chart and you run into a 10-year-luck with a shen branch,  you may meet your death or have major disasters/ misfortunes during this 10-year luck period.

"10-Stems' failure and death luck" is based on the branch of a 10-year-luck controlling the daymaster (DM, chart owner).  The duration is 10 years and it will bring disasters, misfortunate and even death.

In general, we do not need to consider wealth/ power stars or chart profile/ structure when one enters this 10-SFDL.  Young people with strong DM can tide over this luck but could be dangerous or even life threatening for the over 60 age groups (Note: One major reason for this is that the 6th 10-year-luck of any person will fan-yin (attack) the month pillar).

The pre-requsites for this luck are:

• no root support or no peer star (bi-jian/ jie-cai) in the branch level
• DM is weak
• chart is not "follow the weakest" type

In simple Bazi terms, this luck refers to a weak DM running into power luck (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) will have serious problems.  Standard predictions would be lawsuits, career problems, losing wealth, sickness and accidents.  The term "10-Stems' failure and death luck" is to get your attention and sell more adult diapers.

Besides, if a chart has resource (zheng-yin/ pian-yin) and/or output stars (shi-shen/ shang-guan), the damage could be reduced or even turn into major benefits.

If you are a strong DM, couple with resource and output stars, this luck may actually bring you upward mobility and major wealth opportunities.
