How do you figure out if you have peach-blossom star in your birth or Bazi chart?  Here is the formula for the peach-blossom star:

Birth year in:

• hai-mao-wei (pig-rabbit-ram):  peach-blossom element is zi-rat
• si-you-chou (snake-rooster-ox):  peach-blossom element is wu-horse
• yin-wu-xu (tiger-horse-dog) peach-blossom element is mao-rabbit
• shen-zi-chen  (monkey-rat-dragon) year:  peach-blossom element is you-rooster

For example, if you were born in the year of dragon or rat or monkey, and there is a you-rooster branch in your natal chart, you have a peach-blossom star.

5. Chart with resource star or wealth star that is also peach-blossom star and combines with travelling horse star, means this person has good or expensive travelling means like expensive cars or jets.  (Note:  travelling stars are:  yin-tiger, shen-monkey, si-snake and hai-pig).

How to check promiscuous charts 好色

Bazi chart characteristics of people who are promiscuous:

1.  "Violating" peach-blossom star 犯桃花:   Zi, wu, mao and you are the four "peach-blossom" stars.  Peach-blossom star stands for romanticism, sentimental, sexual/ physical attraction and lust.  The following conditions are "violating peach-blossom":

• Day stem with shen or zi or chen  and with you in another branch 
• Day stem with hai or mao or wei and with zi in another branch
• Day stem with yin or wu or xu and with mao in another branch
• Day stem with si or you or chou and with wu in another branch

Chart with more than one peach-blossom stars (zi, wu, mao and you) is very sociable and attractive to opposite sex.

2.  Chart is too dry or too wet:  When a chart is too dry, the chart looks for water.  Water represents sex in Bazi.  When a chart is too wet implies it has too much water and wet earth.  Strong water means chart owner has strong kidneys and hence sex drive.

3.  Chart has many combinations:  Branch combinations like 3-meetings, 3-unities and 6-combinations, whether within the natal chart and/ or with luck period, means this person is very sociable and prone to affairs.  Same logic for stem combinations.

4.  Chart has mixing of zheng-cai and pian-cai (+/- wealth stars) for males:  Zheng-cai stands for wife and pian-cai mistress for males.  Chart with mixing of these two stars implies this male is likely to have extra-marital affairs if married and multiple sex partners if single.

5.  Chart has mixing of zheng-guan and qi-sha (+/- power stars) for females:  Zheng-guan stands for husband and qi-sha lover for females.  Chart with mixing of these two stars implies this female is likely have extra-marital affairs if married and multiple sex partners if single.

6.  Chart has numerous (2+) shi-shen and shang-guan (+/- output stars):  Shi-shen and shang-guan are the "output" (excretions) of the person.  Chart with strong output stars means chart owner is more self-directed and lacking self-control.  Output stars also represent sex organ and sexuality.

You do not need to freak out if your partner meets one or two of the above conditions.  If s/he meets 3 or more conditions, you probably should keep an eye on him/her or find a "backup" partner.

"How To Predict Chapter" 命理何知章

"Meng-li how to predict chapter 命理何知章" is a poem recited by street fortune-tellers in traditional China.  It has 30 topics and covers popular FAQ from clients.  There are 60 sentences and 420 Chinese characters in the chapter.  It could easily take two or more hours of live class to cover the topics involved.

Here I just translate the topics that do not need background concepts or historical info.  50% of this poem is translated.

Venereal disease and Bazi

Note:  Below is an excerpt from the reference manual of my upcoming video correspondence course "Applied Bazi:  Sickness Forecasting and Management". 

VENEREAL DISEASE AND BAZI

In Bazi, shang-guan (+output) relates to lust, sexual desire, indulgence, willfulness or "open minded". Shang-guan (SG) also represents the genital of both male and female.  

When shang-guan in a chart is clashed or penalized or hurt, it could mean venereal disease for the daymaster (DM).

If a chart does not have any shang-guan, shi-shen (SS or -output) will take its place.  If both SG and SS do not show up in a chart, look for the source of SG/SS-- bi-jian or jie-cai (peer stars).  If none of the above shows up, day-branch will represent DM's genital.  It also represents DM's sex life, belief and behaviors.

Charts with the following characteristics are prone to venereal diseases (VD):

1.  Shang-guan (SG) is too strong or too weak

SG is too strong means daymaster (DM) has more love and sexual drive demands.  S/he may look for multiple partners and hence higher chance of getting VD.  Also SG too strong itself is a sign of illness.  SG too weak is likely to get VD infection-- likely to happen when it is clashed or subdued by luck period.

2.  Unfavorable element ("annoying god") sits on day-branch

This implies that DM's body, especially the lower part or the genital, is prone to infection for male or gynecological sickness for female.

3.  Day-branch is clashed by an excessive strong element (aka "sickness god")

This implies a potential sickness may happen in the lower part of DM's body.  This sickness relates to the genital for male or gynecological sickness for female.  DM should be careful with his/ her sex life and partners.

 

4.  Output star/s are clashed or combined

DM with weak output star under this condition is prone to impotence. DM with strong output star under this condition has strong sexual energy.  The strength level of output star in a chart reflects the sexual prowess of a person.  Strong DM with strong output stars has strong sexual energy.  Weak DM with strong output stars has strong sexual desire but cannot "perform".   

5.  Day-branch is too cold or too hot

Day branch is sat by fire and fire energy is too strong in chart (and no water to adjust temperature), DM is likely have problem in semen production and prone to flu/ cold or gynecological sickness or VD.

Strip Joint Feng Shui

Note: The following was written on Jan 2, 2004

I went to downtown Minneapolis today taking photos of buildings for my "Advanced Form Feng Shui" class (info: www.kenlaifengshui.com ). This city has a few buildings that are pretty famous in the architecture world. Some buildings here are great for illustrating Form Feng Shui concepts.

Like most U.S. cities, downtown Minneapolis has one side that has old buildings dating back to last century. The north side of the city was full of sex shops and adult entertainment establishment 28 years ago when I come here.

Now the area has re-developed with new buildings or renovation of old buildings for the "loft" craze, although a few adult shops are still in business.

I notice that the adult businesses here, including nightclubs, tend to paint black outside the building. In five element theory, black is water. Water is related to sex. Water also means intelligence. I guess one needs some IQ to get you know what.

I've passed by the "Dream xxxx" strip joint and am surprised that it is still in business.

I had visited this joint about 10 years ago. It has at most 6 performing girls whereas only a few blocks away there is a "Deja Vu" franchise with 60- 100 girls.

I'm not familiar how these adult businesses are operated. I just try to find some explanations from Feng Shui perspective.

What is unusual about this joint is that there is a big parking lot in front of it (not on its property)-- a big ming tang (bright hall), great for accumulating water.

Then it faces west-- the "wang" direction of Period 7.

There are both tall buildings on the left and right side of this joint-- strong green dragon and white tiger. It lacks a good support at the back though.

But I think "Dream xxxx" need to "dream" more to survive when Period 8 comes.

The city has built a light rail station in front of this joint (see photo). The roof has multiple iron bars pointing to the joint directly like arrows. This "form sha" can cause accidents to the owner and employees.

Or you may argue that people may be mad at the city when they leave the rail and see the joint point blank. So they may force the city to re-zone the area as "non-adult" business zone and drive this "Dream xxxx" out of business.

This case reminds me of a Chinese restaurant in Omaha with lousy food but still does brisk business due to good surrounding forms.
