More bang for your charity dollars or work

In last February I had written about the "8 monthly auspicious days" for doing charity to maximize your "karma credit" in every month.

Well, I know at least one person follows the advice. She writes:

"Thank you because we have been doing volunteer works and charity donations on the eight auspicious days you gave in last february. It works!!!! I feel better. I am in a better mood too. A very good friend of mine are doing it too. It´s fun, and we feel good doing it!!! Can we invite more people to do it? Is it not bad energy for us to share this knowledge? It´s good because the people we know can also enjoy sharing and feel good, right?"

Yes, you will get more blessing for sharing this knowledge, not to mention the extra bonuses of getting more karma credits. Karma credits can enhance your personal qi (energy) to fend off bad energies (bad luck) and attract positive energies.

Here I repost part of that February message with updated dates for you to do your good deeds.

According to Buddhism, every lunar month has eight auspicious days that you can take advantage of to enhance your good karma “credits”. When you do “good” or “bad” deed in these days, the karma points (good or bad) will be multiplied numerous times according to following formula.

-- 2009 dates: 1/3, 2/2, 3/4, 4/3, 5/2, 5/31, 6/30

10th DAY OF THE LUNAR MONTH
100,000 times karma credit: A Thousand Buddhas in Good Kalpaa Buddha day 千佛日

15th DAY OF THE LUNAR MONTH
1 Million times karma credit: Amitabha Buddha day 無量佛日

18th DAY OF THE LUNAR MONTH

25th DAY OF THE LUNAR MONTH
100,000 times karma credit: Padmasambhava day 蓮師日

30th DAY OF THE LUNAR MONTH
900 Million times karma credit: Shakyamuni Buddha 釋迦牟尼佛日

To take advantage of these auspicious days, you may:
--Do charity work like donation or give alms
--Eat vegetarian food
--Donate blood
--Release animals, birds, aquatic animals back to the wild
--chanting
