Mistress or "become a mistress" Feng Shui

Most women do not want their husbands have mistresses or a "third party" (called "Little Third" (小三) in China).

"Peach blossom" is the term used in Bazi astrology and Feng Shui to describe both positive and negative romance due to one's astrological chart or Feng Shui conditions.

People whose birth charts have more than 2 peach-blossom elements or are currently running into peach-blossom luck period are prone to romance (if single) and affairs (if married).  I will address the birth chart part in later blogs.

This article will address Feng Shui factors contributing to mistress "invading" into your territory or you become a mistress yourself.

FACTORS LEADING TO MISTRESS FENG SHUI

House facing a "V-shaped" road
"V" looks like a woman spreading her legs.  Females of this house are prone to negative peach blossom.

House or office with big empty flower vase
This may bring more romance to female residents-- especially attracting married men.

Seeing bathroom when opening the main door from outside
This may bring negative peach blossom, especially if the residents work in people-oriented careers.

West side of house seeing water
This includes bathroom or kitchen in west side of house-- female residents are prone to attracting married men.  West or "you (rooster) mountain/ direction " is one of the four peach-blossom regions.  If dirty water flowing out from this direction, female resident is prone to become a mistress.

Above factors are mostly basic form Feng Shui materials.  You can check out my "Visual Form Feng Shui" video course for more details.

When I am in a good mood, I will write about "no mistress/ third party" Feng Shui fixes in the future.

17 most difficult to recognize Chinese characters

When I check my top 10 blog articles, the biggest surprise is the one about the "hardest Chinese character" climbs to my top 10 list.
http://kenlaifengshui.blogspot.com/2007/10/hardest-chinese-charcter-ever.html

Recently I have found that China's People's Daily has compiled a list of "most difficult Chinese characters to recognize".  Have fun with the following!

1.  Yao:  3 "earth" elements or roots; means "high mountain".

2.  Xian: 3 "fish" elements, means the fishes are very fresh.

3.  Xian: 3 "dog" elements, looks like 3 dogs running.  "Speedy", "rising quickly" are the extended meanings.

4.  Cu: 3 "deer" elements, looks like 1 adult deer with two small deers packed together with confusion.  It means "blind or rough force".  Here Cu means non-refined cereals.

5.  Ben: 3 "ox" elements, looks like 3 oxen running forward.  Ben is another way of writing 奔("ben" running, rushing) with the same rushing and running meaning.

6.  Shan: 3 "goat" elements, Shan is another way of writing ("shan" ) with the same meaning odor of goat/ sheep (cooked or raw).

7.  Mei: 2 "dumb"  (呆 dai) elements together-- another way of writing "plum" (梅 mei).  This character is originated from Shantong province and means "inarticulate and dumb".

8.  Bi: 3 "money" (贝 bei) elements, sign of exerting energy (to make money).  Bi is also the name of one of the 9 legendary sons of the dragon king.

9.  Cui: 3 "hair" elements-- means hairBut this hair means refined or tiny hair over the skin that is hard to be seen.

10.  Pa: 3 "hand" elements, first two hands stand for normal hands and the third one is for pickpocket. Pa means "pickpocket".

11.  Suo/ rui: 3 "heart"  elements; when pronouncing as "suo", it means puzzling or worrying.  When read as "rui", it refers to an ancient worship ritual in autumn.

12.  Mo: 3 "eye" elements; this word means pretty eyes or long range perspective.

13.  Lei: 3 "field" elements, same as thunder (雷 lei) during ancient times.  This word means the farm land.

14.  Zhuan: 3 "son" elements, original meaning is "alone and pitiful like an orphan", but Chinese netizens use it to mean being enslaved by "house, car and spouse" (symbolizes 3 "sons" or子).

15.  Hua: 3 "tongue" elements; this is another version of "talk" (话, hua).  Hua here means flaming, instigating conflicts and talking bad about other people.

16.  Jiong: this character looks like a brightly lit window.  The original meanings are "bright" and "righteous".  However, this character looks like an emoji with eyebrow lowering down like a sad expression.  So it is used to mean depressed, sad, boring, alienated and helpless in Chinese internet.

17.  Biang: this is probably the most complicated Chinese character with 56 strokes.  This is the name of a regional noodle in Shannxi province-- "biang biang noodle". "Biang" is the sound when raw noodle hits the chopping board.

Most of these "difficult" characters are formed by tripling the same element or root.  One can easily guess its meaning by interpreting the original meaning of a specific single element.

70% or more are words that are rarely used nowadays or ancient words.  #16 Jiong is the only word gets a new lease in life and becomes very popular in the internet age because it looks like a sad emoji.

One needs to recognize around 2500 Chinese characters to read common Chinese reading materials.  It is no big deal if you cannot recognize these 17 Chinese characters.  Most Chinese cannot recognize 90% of this list anyway.

Garbage can location affects your luck

In Feng Shui, every major direction represents a member of the family.  Please check the following diagram taken from my "Practical Door Feng Shui for Wealth" course manual:

Garage can holds wastes and emits negative qi or energy. The location where you put your garbage can will have serious consequence for the family member represented by that location.  For example, if the garbage can is put in NW location, the oldest male (usually the father, the major breadwinner) may suffer bad luck like tarnished reputation, demotion, business or career failure and the like.  Same problems for the mother of the house if the garbage can is put in SW location.

In business, if the garbage can is in the NW location, the owner will not be respected by the subordinates and likely to fail.  NW or Qian location represents the head or owner of a business or office.

I know you may have a problem because every direction represents the location for a family member-- you may not want to "sacrifice" anyone by putting the garbage can in that location.

Today is your lucky day-- below is the top Feng Shui secret of where to put your garbage can without hurting anyone.

In Feng Shui and 4-Pillars, Chen (dragon), Xu (dog), Chou (ox) and Wei (ram) locations or mountains are called "tombs " or "storages 仓库".  These are the locations to put your garbage can without turning your family member into "garbage".
Green arrows point to "storage" locations

WHERE TO PUT GARBAGE CAN

How to find the 4-storages sectors?

1.  Draw a proportional floorplan of your house and put a protractor over the center of the plan.
2.  Mark the degrees around the floorplan.
3.  Locate the directions below:
  • Chen mountain (SE1): 112.5- 127.5 degree
  • Xu mountain (NW1): 292.5- 307.5 degree
  • Chou mountain (NE1): 22.5- 27.5 degree
  • Wei mountain (SW1): 202.5- 217.5 degree

In Feng Shui, negative energy will have minimal effect when you cannot see and smell it.  Hence, keeping the small waste baskets inside your house or business clean/ covered (if there is organic waste) and inconspicuous is OK too.

Bazi: Effects of Self-penalties

My articles on Bazi penalties are the most read articles.  Here is more info on self-penalties.

Self-penalties are generated from the intersections of san-he (3-unities) and san-hui (3-meetings) combinations.

1.  Hai-hai self-penalty
derived from: hai-mao-wei and hai-zi-chou
-- water is too strong.
-- hurt by water, drowning, suicide by jumping into water

2.  Chen-chen self-penalty
derived from: shen-zi-chen and yin-mao-chen
-- earth is too strong.
-- hurt by earth, buried by earth, suicide by jumping from tall building

3.  Wu-wu self-penalty
derived from: si-wu-wei and yin-wu-xu
-- fire is too strong.
-- hurt by fire, electrocuted,  suicide by burning coal indoor.

4.  You-you self-penalty
derived from: si-you-chou and shen-you-xu
-- metal is too strong.
-- hurt by metal, suicide by self-stabbing, cutting veins.

People with self-penalty are sentimental, prone to depression and "shoot themselves in the
feet" type.

If you want to learn more about penalties and Bazi in general, you may want to check out my "4-Pillars Forecasting Bootcamp" video correspondence course.

The coolest "nail-tomb" in Beijing 北京“最牛钉子坟”

I had written "A pain in the rear Feng Shui" in 2011-- the "nail households" and "nail tombs" whose owners and residents had refused relocation of their properties in face of new development.
http://kenlaifengshui.blogspot.com/2011/10/pain-in-rear-feng-shui.html

Recently, there is a report of the "Coolest 'nail tombs' in Beijing" in the internet.  There are two tombs in the middle of a new main road in the Shun-yi district 顺义区 of Beijing. These tombs occupy 30 square meters or two-third of the width of this road.

One tomb is quite old with the burial of a Red Army martyr.  The other tomb is pretty recent.  The tomb owners refuse to relocate these tombs because of low compensation.

The road is an east-west direction road forming a "road-clash" or "chong" to the tombs.  In terms of Feng Shui, this is worse than being surrounded by tall buildings.

With a "nail household" or "nail tomb" being surrounded by tall buildings, residents or descendants will suffer dwindling luck and fortune gradually.  But with road-clash to the house or tomb, they may suffer serious accidents or sicknesses resulting in deaths.  It will happen within 3 to 6 years.

It is unwise for the nail tomb owners to hold out the relocation.  Disasters may happen before they get their money.

Below are other examples of "nail tomb" and "nail house" sitting in the middle of a main road:

Few could imagine these "nail tombs" and "nail houses" phenomena could happen in Communist China with its all-encompassing government and local bureaucrats. Here in USA, even a small city government can "rezone" a private property as public area and buyout any nail house/ tomb with the power of "eminent domain".  The owners may sue the government in court but expensive legal fees are likely to scare them away.

For more info on road-clash and form Feng Shui, you may want to take my "Advanced Visual Form Feng Shui" video correspondence course.

Feng Shui: Effect of San-sha or "3-killings"

SAN-SHA
San-sha or "3-killings" is a serious negative energy in Feng Shui and date-selection.  For any given year, there are three san-sha directions or branches. It is calculated based on the San He (Three Combinations) of the year animal.

Annual san-sha normally refers to directions  not suitable for moving earth or constructions.  The directions listed below are in terms of "24 mountains".

EFFECT OF SAN-SHA IN FENG SHUI
If san-sha is in door direction,  it may negatively affecting the career of the residents.

If san-sha is in master bedroom direction,  it may negatively affect the couple like sickness or accident.

If san-sha is in children-room direction,  it may negatively affect the children like sickness or accident.

If san-sha is in kitchen direction,  it may negatively affect the female head of the house.

If san-sha is in bathroom direction,  it may negatively affect the relationship or marriage of the residents.

How to fix san-sha?  Easy fix would be avoiding movement in san-sha locations.  Please consult your Feng Shui teacher for other remedies.
