Can you be a medical professional to save lives?

In Bazi, there is a star called "Celestial Doctor 天医星".  If one's birth chart contains this star, one could run into following scenarios:

1. This person may become a medical doctor to cure and save people's lives.
2. This person may involve in business or career that has connections or related to medicine.
3. Close relatives of this person may be in the medical or related professions.
4. This person could be an astrologer, Bazi reader, Feng Shui practitioner to help people.
5. If none of the above, this person is likely to have chronic illnesses with numerous contacts with doctors OR s/he likes to seek guidance from religious or metaphysics people.

A person with strong Celestial Doctor star which is also his favorable element ("yong-shen", he has the potential to become a successful doctor, astrologer, Feng Shui master and the likes.

A medical doctor without Celestial Doctor star in his chart is likely an average doctor.

When 10-years-luck or annual luck brings in a Celestial Doctor star into one's chart, s/he may have the opportunity to save or help people.  Sometimes, s/he may not become a doctor or astrologer during this period to help/ save people.  But s/he may save some stray animals and becomes the savior of these animals.

How do you determine if you have Celestial Doctor star in your chart?  Your Celestial Doctor star is the previous branch of your birth month.

For example, if your birth month is Mao (rabbit) and there is a Yin tiger in your chart, you have a Celestial Doctor star.  

DATE-SELECTION AND CELESTIAL DOCTOR STAR
In terms of date-selection, if one uses the day with animal sign that represents one's Celestial Doctor star for health related activities like surgery or healing, the results will be better.  For example, if your birth month is Chen (dragon) and you choose a Mao (rabbit) day to see a doctor, you may get better healing effect.

Hidden meanings of void branches in Bazi

"Void branch" is based on the theory of when matching 12 earthly branches to 10 heavenly stems, there will be no match for the last 2 branches.  These two branches are called "void branches".  They carry rich information about the individual or "daymaster" if void branch is found in his natal chart.

"Void" means disappearing, unreal, not solid, losses, not there, leaving, cut by half and also "exists in spirit or title only" (not physically exist).  When a star representing a relative is in a void branch, it means this relative is either   weak, chronically ill or passed prematurely.

Traditional Bazi calculates void branches in terms of year and day pillar.  Modern people are likely look at void branches in terms of day pillar only.

Void branch meaning can be extracted from two levels:

I.  MEANING FROM PILLAR LOCATIONS

• Void branch in year pillar (年上空亡): no blessing/ inheritance from older generations; also means tough or difficult teen or little or no care/ love during childhood
• Void branch in month pillar (月上空亡):  no support from sibling/s or siblings are weak or chronically sick; low luck during young adulthood
• Void branch in day pillar (日支空亡):  spouse is a weakling or no help from spouse; unstable marital relationship; also stands for low luck during middle age
• Void branch in hour pillar (时柱空亡): gets no help from children or children are weakling or die prematurely; low luck during old age.

II.  MEANING FROM 10 GODS/ TRANSFORMATION STARS

• Resource star in void (印星逢空):  low academic achievement, especially in this void is in year or month pillar.
• Power star in void (官星逢空):  problem in career or getting government post; problem getting/ keeping husband for female
• Wealth star in void (财星逢空):  little or no relationship with father or father dies prematurely; hard to find or keep wife for male
• Output star in void (伤食空亡):  little or no luck with fame/ blessing; unstable marriage; few children
• Children star or palace in void (子女星或子女宫逢空):  hard to conceive or children die prematurely or chronically sick.
• Sibling star or palace in void (比劫星或比劫宫临空):  no sibling or sibling die prematurely or chronically sick.

Embracing (your God's name) when running into emergency

Chinese has a saying: "Embracing Buddha's leg when running into emergency" for people who do not really care about their religious belief when they have no urgent problem in life.  It is the opposite of "fair weather friend" to God or deity.

My old classmate John in Hong Kong runs into a few obstacles since the Year of Rat (2020) comes.  Lately he has abdominal pain when waking up in the morning.  He went to a hospital, did some tests and was waiting for the results.

A Hongkonger runs into this situation usually may also consult a fortune-teller or go to a temple to do a divination to find out what is the problem.  But John is an atheist and does not care much.

However, his wife Mary believes in Buddhism and Daoism.  She thinks John's horse animal sign clashing current year's Grand Duke (rat sign), is the cause of his problems.  She told him to go to a temple to pray and make offering to Grand Duke.

Mary took John to a temple and found it is closed to the public due to the coronavirus.  It seems his "embracing Grand Duke's leg when running into emergency" attempt does not pan out.

John told me his Grand Duke problem while chatting online with me.  He does not know I do Grand Duke Talisman charity drive every year.  So I have sent him the GD talisman file.

 The next day John told me the following:
