Who are likely infected by the coronavirus?

Coronavirus or COVID-19 attacks the respiratory system of a person, especially his lungs.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Bazi, respiratory system is represented by metal element or energy in one's body or Bazi birth chart. Hence, when one has respiratory illness, a TCM doctor will check his lung function whereas a Bazi reader will examine the metal element in his birth chart.

According to 5-elements theory, fire "controls" metal. The coronavirus looks like red crowns under a microscope. It is fire in nature and "controls" or hurts one's lungs.

Below are different ways that lungs can get hurt or sick in a Bazi chart:
(metal elements: geng, xin, shen and you)

1. Chart has no metal element.
2. Chart has weak metal with fire burning it (fire can be inside natal chart or brought in by luck periods).
3. Chart has strong metal battling strong wood-- when luck period brings in more wood, the person will have lung illness.
4. When the metal elements are over-nurtured by earth or over-clashed
5. Xin-metal stands for lungs and bronchial tubes. When xin-metal is very weak and earth is strong, it becomes "too much earth burying metal 土重金埋" . If the chart is too wet (i.e., has too much water), chart owner is prone to emphysema 肺氣腫. If the chart is too dry (i.e., strong fire), chart owner is prone to pneumonia.
6. A chart with weak xin-metal and strong water OR strong earth burying xin-metal, chart owner is likely to have bronchial tube problems or nasal illness or prone to flu or cough leading to nasal congestion or rhinitis 鼻炎. This happens when luck period brings strong water into the chart.

When your Bazi chart has one or more of above conditions, you are prone to have respiratory or lung-related sickness like the coronavirus.
