This post is based on past posts about "Grand Duke Talisman charity drive" with updates for 2020.If you have read my old message about functions of Grand Duke, you know that there are two Grand Dukes watching over your shoulder, counting the good and bad deeds that you have done and executing rewards and misfortunes accordingly. This is a major rationale that donation to get your Grand Duke talisman. When your talisman is grounded with a charitable deed, GD is less likely to execute any misfortunes due from your karma account. Another rationale for donation is exchange of energy-- using a charitable deed in exchange of protection energy from Grand Duke.
2020 GRAND DUKE GENERAL LU MI 盧秘
2020 is Geng-zi or year of metal-rat. Grand Duke for the year is General Lu Mi who was a civil officer in Ming Dynasty (1368- 1644). Zhang was known for his knowledge in the classics and concern for the well-being of the citizens when he was a county official. He had died in his post and was too poor to afford funeral. Public funds was used to pay for his final expenses. Local citizens had lined up in the streets to send him off despite heavy rain.
2020 GRAND DUKE TALISMAN
Geng-zi or year of metal-rat is unusually hazardous affecting 5 Chinese zodiac animal signs out of 12. Besides ram, it somehow affects all the 4-cardinal animals-- zi, wu, mao and you (rat, horse, rabbit and rooster)
2020 can be very dangerous for people with Bazi chart disliking water because Geng-zi is strong water energy. However, charts that like water will enjoy strong luck for this year.
Zi-rat clashes Wu-horse. Zi, Wu, Mao and You are the 4-cardinal elements which are regarded as "peach-blossom" elements. When Wu clashes Zi, it stands for illicit romance. Keep an eye on your spouse or lover if s/he has a Zi-wu clash in his/her Bazi chart. This is especially valid IF wu-horse sits in one's spouse palace or day-branch.
Besides zi-wu clash, zi-rat also forms a formidable penalty with mao-rabbit. It is one of the "3-penalties" in Bazi. People who have rabbit animal sign or mao-rabbit in any pillar of their Bazi charts should be very careful in relationship. It could mean losing major wealth due to lust or negative romance.
Here are the five groups of people who need Grand Duke Talismans:
1. "Fu-yin" or same animal sign of Grand Duke 值太岁-- people with RAT sign
Birth years: 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008
Symptoms: obstacles, stagnation or running "reverse" instead of forward and not suitable for travels.
2. "Fan-yin" or "clashing" the animal sign of Grand Duke 冲太岁-- people with HORSE sign
Birth years: 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014
Symptoms: big fluctuations in luck, accident, sickness, surgery, losing competitions/wealth, moving, death, changing job
3. "Hai" or "harming" the animal sign of Grand Duke 害太岁-- people with RAM sign Birth years: 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015
Symptoms: backstabbing at work, and success slips away in the last minute
4. "Po" or "breaking" the animal sign of Grand Duke 破太岁-- -- people with ROOSTER sign
Birth years: 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017
Symptoms: interpersonal relationship problems, negative romance, marital problem, backstabbing, skin and nervous system problems-- due to over-confidence and extreme/ radical positions.
5. "Xing" or "penalizing" the animal sign of Grand Duke 刑太岁---- people with RABBIT sign
Birth years: 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011
Symptoms: big fluctuations in luck, wealth, career, relationship and health; traffic accident, sickness, surgery, losing competitions/wealth, moving, death, negative romance, quarrels and etc.
SPECIAL NOTE: Zi-mao penalty is a powerful penalty-- negative romance causing serious financial loss or even death or traffic accidents and surgery. If your chart has both you-rooster and wu-horse, pump up your life insurance policy because you have all the 4-cardinal clashes elements-- zi, wu, mao and you.
GRAND DUKE TALISMAN FOR FENG SHUI REMEDY
If your house faces Zi mountain or North direction, you need to put up a Grand Duke talisman facing that direction and avoid construction, earth-digging and demolition there.
If your desk or wherever you sit for an extended time faces Zi mountain or North direction, you can put up a Grand Duke talisman there for protection. It is not auspicious to face the Grand Duke direction. It weakens your competition power in business/career and examinations. However, if you arrange your seat so that North will be at your back (and put a Grand Duke talisman there), you will get Grand Duke as support and is good for competition and business.

In 2020 Geng-zi year, if your house faces zi-rat mountain or N2 (352.5 to 7.5 degree, ) direction, your house is said to be "violating Grand Duke." House violating GD will affect the overall luck, health and well-being of the people living inside. The remedy is either avoiding movements, construction, earth-digging and demolition there or put up a Grand Duke talisman facing N2 direction. The opposite side of Grand Duke is Year-breaker (Sui-po, S2). This location should avoid digging and activities too.
Even with the GD talisman, if you need to do construction, you still need to do a date-selection for an auspicious date and start digging on a non-GD direction and finish last on the GD direction.
Desk violating Grand Duke
If your desk or wherever you sit for an extended time faces Zi-rat mountain or N2 direction, you can put up a Grand Duke talisman there for protection. It is not auspicious to face the Grand Duke direction. It weakens your competition power in business/career and examinations. However, if you arrange your seat so that N2 will be at your back (and put a Grand Duke talisman there), you will get Grand Duke as support and is good for competition and business.
Moving direction violating Grand Duke
If you move to a new house or residence, the relative direction from your old house to the new house is facing N2 grand Duke direction, you are considered "violating GD". Remedy will be choosing an auspicious date to move or at the least, choose a different route of traveling, like driving to a different direction in the beginning, take a break for 15 minutes or more and then to the final destination. This will convert the original GD direction to a non-GD direction. You may carry a GD talisman too.
Marriage direction violating Grand Duke
If you get married and the relative direction of your new marital residence to the old residence is facing N2 grand Duke direction, you are considered "violating GD". Remedy will be choosing an auspicious date to move or at the least, choose a different route of traveling, like driving to a different direction in the beginning, take a break for 15 minutes or more and then to the final destination. This will convert the original GD direction to a non-GD direction. You may carry a GD talisman too.
GRAND DUKE TALISMAN OFFERS
