Beauty and the Beast: Dog Edition

Sophie Wang, of Taiwan, has a 13 years old dog named "Black Bear". This young woman treats Black Bear like her younger "brother".

Motor bikes are popular in Taiwan. Black Bear is unable to sit on a bike. Sophie bought a cloth carrier, carry Black Bear on her back and travels around the island on her bike. She posts the daily live and travel with Black Bear on her Facebook page.

A few days ago, while traveling with Black Bear on her back, Sophie something warm rushing down her back. The aging Black Bear has incontinence. A 13 years old dog is equivalent to a 70 years old human.

Below is the original descriptions written by Sophie translated from Chinese:

"The weather is so nice. After work, had I rushed back home to carry Black Bear for a joyride on my motor bike. While cruising, my tail vertebra suddenly felt something warm flowing downward. I had a not so nice premonition coming up.......

I had touched my back. It was wet. I had smelled it. It was smelly.

I have already known that Black Bear is very old and may have incontinence problem occasionally. So upon returning home, I took Black Bear to the bathroom to wash and clean up. While washing, Black Bear had lowered his head as if blaming himself for the mishap. Of course I did not scold him. I know Black Bear was not deliberately to wet me. I had petted his head and said, "Never mind, everything will be all right after a little wash. Sister Siao Siao is waiting to eat beef now!"

Dogs are similar to human, require more care when getting old. Please do not avoid or abandon them, because they are your family members.

這麼好的天氣，下班立馬衝回家揹著黑熊騎哺哺兜風，騎著騎著，姊姊的尾椎骨部位感到一股熱流，不好的預感湧上....

姊姊其實知道，黑熊年紀大了，有時候會有失禁的問題，所以回到家後，就先把黑熊帶進浴室清洗，清洗時黑熊頭都低低的，好像很自責，姊姊當然沒有罵他，因為姊姊知道黑熊一定不是故意的，拍拍他的頭跟他說：沒關係喲～洗一洗就好了，姊姊秀秀，等等吃牛肉噢！
狗狗和人一樣，老了一定會需要更多的照顧，請不要拋棄或嫌棄他們，因為他們是你的家人
