Pregnancy Feng Shui and House Missing Corners

Winston Churchill had a famous saying, "We shape our buildings, thereafter they shape us."  It describes the interactions and influences between residents and the layout or design of the building.  This is the bread and butter of architects.

In Feng Shui, we have a similar notion of how house-shape affects the organic well-being of the occupants.  A house can project its characteristics onto the body and even social relationship of the occupants.  For example,  a house with missing northwest corner is likely to be a house without a male breadwinner or at least with a weak one.  Occupants are likely to have respiratory-related illness.

In this post, we focus on precautions for pregnant woman in terms of house missing corners.

FIRST PREGNANCY
If this is your first pregnancy and know the baby is a boy, make sure the east side of your house is not a missing corner.  East or Zhen direction represents the eldest son.

If this is your first pregnancy and know the baby is a girl, make sure the southeast side of your house is not a missing corner.  Southeast or Xun direction represents the eldest daughter.

If  this is your first pregnancy and do not know the gender of the baby,  make sure the east and southeast side of your house have no missing corners.

SECOND PREGNANCY
Second pregnancy is a little bit complicated because you need to consider the gender result of first pregnancy.

If this is your second pregnancy and know the baby is a boy AND previous birth is also a boy, make sure the north side of your house is not a missing corner.  North or Kan direction represents the second or middle son.  If the previous birth is a girl, make sure east side is not missing.

If this is your second pregnancy and know the baby is a girl AND previous birth is a boy, make sure the southeast side of your house is not a missing corner.  If the previous birth is also a girl, make sure south side is not missing.  South or Li direction represents middle daughter.

If you do not know the gender of the second pregnancy, make sure north, east, southeast and south side do not have missing corners.

THIRD PREGNANCY
If this is your third pregnancy and know the baby is a boy AND previous two births are also boys, make sure the northeast side of your house is not a missing corner.  Northeast or Gen direction represents youngest or third son.  If previous two births are both girls, make sure east side is not missing.

If this is your third pregnancy and know the baby is a girl AND previous two births are boys, make sure the southeast side of your house is not a missing corner.  If previous two births are both girls, make sure west side is not missing.  West or Dui direction represents youngest or .third daughter.

If you do not know the gender of your third pregnancy, make sure north, south, east, west, southeast, and northeast sides are not missing.

If this is your forth pregnancy......  you are too "productive" and probably overworking yourself to death either in bed or at work!
