Bazi: "Tears flow when there is a fan-yin or fu-yin" 返吟伏吟泪淋淋

There is a Bazi saying, "Tears flow when there is a fan-yin or fu-yin, hurting other people if not oneself". ( 返吟伏吟泪淋淋，不伤自身也损他人)

In Bazi, "fan-yin" occurs when there are two antagonistic pillars fighting on both stem and branch level in a chart or with a pillar from a luck period.  For example, a chart with Jia-zi pillar and there is Geng-wu pillar in the natal chart or from a luck period.

"Fu-yin" occurs when there are two identical pillars in a chart.  This will amplify the power of the elements in these pillars.  For example, a chart with Jia-zi pillar and there is another Jia-zi pillar in the natal chart or from a luck period.

In general, fan-yin is inauspicious because disasters or misfortune may occur to the daymaster (DM).  Fu-yin could be positive if the elements in the pillars are favorable.  But if unfavorable, will double the negativity.

Below are different types of fu-yin:

FU-YIN WITHIN THE NATAL CHART

1. Year- and month pillar fu-yin:  Dwindling ancestral fortune during DM's early years.  DM suffers during childhood.  Parents suffer misfortunes and legal problems.  Male DM may become a monk or priest.
2. Year- and day pillar fu-yin:  Both male and female DM jinx spouse severely.  DM should marry someone with the same birth year to avoid jinxing spouse.
3. Year- and hour pillar fu-yin:  DM jinxes senior generation and does not see grandparents alive.  DM will jinx his children during old age or lack karma with his children.
4. Month- and day pillar fu-yin:  DM jinxes close relatives with unstable marriage and emotions.  S/he is insecure with shaky family life.
5. Month- and hour pillar fu-yin:  DM has a fluctuating career that is stagnant and and facing obstacles.
6. Day- and hour pillar fu-yin:  DM has unstable marital life and lonesome during old age.  His/ her adult children seldom stay near him/ her. 

ANNUAL LUCK FU-YIN WITH NATAL CHART PILLAR

1. Annual luck pillar fu-yin year-pillar:  DM is not suitable for long trip/ traveling.  Everyone will have this year-pillar fu-yin when turning 61. 
2. Annual luck pillar fu-yin year-pillar:  DM's parents are at risk.  They should pay attention to both mental and physical health.
3. Annual luck pillar fu-yin year-pillar:  DM or spouse may have misfortune or losing wealth.
4. Annual luck pillar fu-yin year-pillar:  children may have misfortune or DM suffers misfortune during old age.  Pay attention to career or money management.

You can also decode more information from the fu-yin by analyzing the transformation stars ("10-gods") represented by the fu-yin pillars.

ANNUAL LUCK FU-YIN AND FAN-YIN WITH 10-YEARS-LUCK

1. Annual luck pillar fu-yin 10-years-luck-pillar:  Classic Bazi wrote "disaster strike at once" when this condition shows up.  However,  it is likely happen IF the fu-yin pillar elements are unfavorable ("annoying god").  If favorable, it will double the auspiciousness or benefits.
2. Annual luck pillar fan-yin 10-years-luck-pillar:  Two luck pillars fight against each other.  This could be major disasters in career or physical health/ body injury.

Feng Shui: What does your door-facing enhance?

This is top secret (will show up in my "Practical Door Feng Shui" course discussion group).  Here is a hint:  It is based on flying the door-facing star in a certain way.  You can easily reverse engineer it and trace the patterns by drawing 8 charts.  This school uses the term "big golden dragon" (大金龙) to describe certain thing.

The interpretations here are based on 8-trigrams (pre- and post-heaven bagua) and 5-elements theory.

When to fire your boss or change job

"When will I change job,  get a promotion, get a raise" and the likes are popular questions during a Bazi reading.  People have never asked me when they get a demotion or salary cut.

Today is your lucky day, below are the secrets of career and income changes.

You may have career and income changes when:

1.  Annual luck or 10-years-luck period clash or combine with the power star (Zheng-guan/qi-sha) in your Bazi chart:  +Power star stands for your current stable job and -power for unsteady job.  If power star is favorable to your chart, it implies the change is in the negative direction like demotion, salary decrease or harsh working environment.  If power star is unfavorable, it implies the change is in the positive direction like promotion, salary increase or improvements in working environment.

2.  Annual luck or 10-years-luck period clash or combine the resource star (Zheng-yin/pian-yin) in your Bazi chart:   Resource star stands documents, rights, order, official seal (authority) and the like.  In short, it stands for authority based on a position.   When resource star is clashed or combined, it means changes in your job or career.  If resource star is favorable to your chart, it implies demotion, salary decrease or work pressure due to job changes.  If resource star is unfavorable, it means promotion, salary increases or better work conditions due to the changes.

3.  Traveling horse star is clashed or combined by luck period/s or luck period/s bring in traveling horse star:  This implies your living environment is changed.  Traveling horse star represents mobility and usually associated with relocation.  Traveling horse stars are: yin, shen, si and hai.  If traveling star is favorable to your chart, you are likely to leave hometown for wealth and make it big (hence dislikes clashing or combination).  If unfavorable, you work hard and hectically for money.

Baby boy making advice for a Polish village

In the last few days there are reports on the news and TV about a Polish Village, Miejsce Odrzanskie, has no baby boy born for near 10 years.  People offer many tips on how to conceive baby boys-- from a more calcium diet to putting an axe under the bed.

There are many methods to create babies in Chinese Feng Shui.  Here I offer two simple methods to increase the chance of making a baby boy.

METHOD ONE:  MAKING LOVE IN MALE DIRECTIONS
In Chinese Feng Shui, west, south, southeast and southwest are directions with strong female energy.  Hence, if the couple making love in west, south, SE and SW sector of their house/ bedroom will increase the chance of making a baby GIRL, especially in west sector.

Miejsce Odrzanskie is in the south (tilted east) side of Poland.  It already has stronger female energy to begin with.

East, north, northeast and northwest are male sectors.   If the couple making love in these sectors of their house/ bedroom will increase the chance of making a baby BOY, especially in the east sector.  It also helps more if your head pointing at these male direction while you are making "it".

METHOD TWO:  MAKING LOVE IN ANNUAL MALE STAR DIRECTIONS 
This method is based on Purple White Star Feng Shui using male star directions.  These male stars are 1, 6 and 8, which move to different locations every year.   1-star is more powerful.  Simply make your baby in the male star directions listed in the table shown here.

When any one of these male stars moves to your main door or bedroom, you have better chance of conceiving a baby boy.

Feng Shui situations that reduce the chance of making a baby boy are:
Toilet in east or northeast side of the house
Female directions (in method# 1) has/ have taller structures/ furniture than male directions.
House facing female directions
Missing corners in male directions, especially in northeast.

People who are likely to die in war or man-made disasters

Below are the Bazi characteristics of people who are likely to perish in wars or man-made disasters like terrorist attack or mass-shooting.

BAZI CHART CHARACTERISTIC OF WAR DEAD

1. Peer stars (jie-cai/ bi-jian) are unfavorable ("annoying god") because war involves many people of similar age groups.
2. Chart with serious clash, penalties and breakage:  these are signs of life-threatening events by itself.
3. This person stay in unfavorable location (in terms of his/her unfavorable element):  for example, person with chen (SE) in chart goes to xu (NW) battlefield.
4. Charts with 2-elements battling like wood fights earth, water battles fire and the like.  These chart owners are prone to sudden or violent death.
5. Charts that are extremely strong or extremely weak are prone to sudden death.

Above characteristics are also applicable to victims of airline disasters, stampede, riots and the like.
