Peach Blossom or Negative Romance

Note:  The follow excerpt is taken from the chapter "Peach Blossom or Negative Romance" in "4-Pillars Bootcamp" video correspondence course.

Peach blossom stars normally have negative connotation in 4P.  There are two major characteristics of peach blossom stars:

*    It is associated with sexual desire and alcohol

*    It is associated with indiscriminate spending

PEACH BLOSSOM STAR

The meaning of peach blossom star is identical to the “bath” stage of the “12 life stages” in Chinese metaphysics.  The second stage of luck of “12 life stages” is “bath”.  The original meaning of “bath” is that after day-master (DM, the principal of a birth chart) was born, s/he needs to take a bath everyday.  When one baths, s/he needs to undress.  So the meaning of “bath” is extended to mean “peach blossom”.  It has the connotation of being lustful.  But nowadays peach blossom also means positive or negative romance luck.

How to locate peach blossom in a 4P chart

To find if a DM has peach blossom, we use DM’s animal sign or year branch to check against the following table:

Year branch: Animal sign:	Hai/ mao/ wei Pig/ rabbit/ goat	Yin/ wu/ xu Tiger/ horse/ dog	Si/ you/ chou Snake/ rooster/ ox	Shen/ zi/ chen Monkey/ rat/ dragon
Peach blossom (branch of Month/ day/ hour)	Zi Rat	Mao Rabbit	Wu Horse	You Rooster

Month branch peach blossom is the strongest.  Please note that the idea of peach blossom star is just for reference.  It does not necessarily mean a person with peach blossom star will be lustful and wasteful.  Similarly, a person without peach blossom star can also be a lustful person.  We should check peach blossom with other stars within a chart before making any judgment.  Modern interpretation of peach blossom includes "sociability" or being popular among people.

Male peach blossom star

In terms of 4P, wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) are considered the main peach blossom star and output star (shi-shen/ shang-guan) as the source of peach blossom.

Wealth star is the “wife star” for male and can also be seen as “star of desire”.  Output star produces wealth star, so output star can be seen as “desire promoter”.

When output stars are strong with wealth star combines with other star, day-master's probability of running into romance or affair will be high.

So, you may ask, between wealth star and peach blossom star, which one is more powerful in bringing romance to a DM?

A wealth star without clashes or damages is more powerful, even if he has no peach blossom star in his chart.

Normally or morally speaking, peach blossom is negative when DM is married and acceptable or even positive if DM is unmarried.

The following are basic rules to make prediction about male peach blossom:

*        When DM’s chart has output stars (shi-shen/ shang-guan) and wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) and runs into output and wealth luck pillar, he is likely running into peach blossom (romance or affair).

*       Male 4P chart with too much fire and parched earth but little or no water to cool down, its DM is likely running into peach blossom (romance or affair).

*       DM is surrounded by wealth stars (any wealth star) and the chart also has output stars, DM is likely running into peach blossom (romance or affair).

*       When a male 4P chart has two or more wealth stars combine with DM or day pillar, and the chart also has output stars, DM is likely running into peach blossom (romance or affair).

Unfavorable House Sitting and Facing in terms of 12 Animals signs

Note:  The following is an excerpt from the chapter "Choosing the sitting and facing of a house" from "Advanced Visual Form Feng Shui" video correspondence course.

There are numerous ways to choose an “ideal” sitting and facing for a house utilizing different Feng Shui methods.  However, in this course we will limit the choices with some relatively easy to use methods

A.    CHOOSING SITTING/FACING BASED ON ONE’S ANIMAL SIGN

Animal sign refers to the 12 Chinese zodiac animal signs based on one’s birth year.  People born before Feb. 4^th are considered being born in previous year.  If you do not know your Chinese animal sign, you may check the following link:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_zodiac

Above diagram also shows the elemental nature of each animal and its corresponding “clashing” animal.  For example, the elemental nature of mouse is water and horse is fire.  Water and fire clash— so people with mouse animal sign should not choose a house with South sitting (wu or horse direction) and North facing (zi or rat direction).

UNFAVORABLE SITTING/FACING IN TERMS OF 12 ANIMAL SIGNS

SITTING	sitting	DEGREE (sitting)	FACING	Facing	DEGREE (facing)
MOUSE (ZI)	N2	352.5- 7.5	HORSE (Wu)	S2	172.5- 187.5
OX (CHOU)	NE1	22.5- 37.5	RAM (Wei)	SW1	202.5- 217.5
TIGER (YIN)	NE3	52.5- 67.5	MONKEY (Shen)	SW3	232.5- 247.5
RABBIT (MAO)	E2	82.5- 97.5	ROOSTER (You)	W2	262.5- 277.5
DRAGON (CHEN)	SE1	112.5- 127.5	DOG (Xu)	NW1	292.5- 307.5
SNAKE (SI)	SE3	142.5- 157.5	PIG (Hai)	NW3	322.5- 337.5
HORSE (WU)	S2	172.5- 187.5	MOUSE (Zi)	N2	352.5- 7.5
RAM (WEI)	SW1	202.5- 217.5	OX (Chou)	NE1	22.5- 37.5
MONKEY (SHEN)	SW3	232.5- 247.5	TIGER (Yin)	NE3	52.5- 67.5
ROOSTER (YOU)	W2	262.5- 277.5	RABBIT (Mao)	E2	82.5- 97.5
DOG (XU)	NW1	292.5- 307.5	DRAGON (Chen)	SE1	112.5- 127.5
PIG (HAI)	NW3	322.5- 337.5	SNAKE (Si)	SE3	142.5- 157.5

Above sitting and facing is called “personal ming clashing the sitting mountain”.  This can be interpreted as your inborn Feng Shui “magnetic imprint” clashing to that of the sitting of a house. You should avoid choosing a sitting/facing that is identical to your own animal sign.  If you do, you are likely to have limited advancement in life or simply working hard and achieving little.

There are more in-depth and detailed info on how to choose the best sitting/ facing in this chapter. For more info, please click the following link:

Bazi analysis of David Bowie's death

Note:  Below is a message that I wrote for the "Destiny and Luck Management with Bazi Therapy"  discussion list in Jan. 13, 2016.

David Robert Jones (8 January 1947 – 10 January 2016)--- aka David Bowie

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Bowie

Bazi Chart:

Year:    bing-xu

Month: xin-chou

Day:     ding-hai

Hour:   not known

10-Year-luck

2005- 2014    ding-wei

2015- 2024    wu-shen

Annual Luck (Jan. 10 is still within yi-wei year):  yi-wei

Bazi Chart of the date died:

Year:  yi-wei

Month: ji-chou

Day: xin-mao

Liver is wood element.  Yi-wood represents liver in Bazi. There is no yi-wood in Bowie's chart.  He had a hidden jia-wood in his day-branch hai-water.  Jia-wood stands for gallbladder.  He probably had partied and drank a lot-- hurt his liver.

In Bazi, whatever element not showing up in a chart is the likely source of sickness.

Interestingly, he had a 10 years of xu-chou-wei 3-penalties from 2005 to 2014.  His battle with liver cancer lasted 18 months.  So it started at end of his 10-year-luck (yi-wei) 3-penalities years and also died at end of yi-wei year (which also forms xu-chou-wei 3-penalties).  Wei also clashes the month branch (the "dam" of a Bazi chart).

Clashing a 3-penalties is serious business-- could be death.  Clashing a month branch could also be death, especially for an older day-master.

Bowie's chart has no yi-wood (liver) and died when this liver shows up.  His xin-metal apparently also clashed yi-wood even it is supposedly combining with bing-fire.  He had died in a xin-mao day and ji-chou month.

Destiny and Luck Management students,  what could you have suggested if Bowie had asked you for a cure for his chart 18 months ago?

RIP Bowie

Ken

6 Types of annual luck that can make your life miserable

In Bazi or 4-Pillars, there are six types of annual luck that you should pay close attention to.  It is because major events-- pleasant or unpleasant, are likely to occur within those years.

1.  Violating Grand Duke (日犯岁君)
Grand Duke means the current year pillar "fan-yin" (opposite of) your day-pillar. For example, current year (2015) is yi-wei. Yi-wei is the Grand Duke of the year.  If your day-pillar is ji-chou, you are "violating Grand Duke".  This is inauspicious and stands for disaster, sickness or accidents.

2.  Real Grand Duke (真太岁)

"Real Grand Duke" means the one's year pillar "fu-yin" (is identical to) current year pillar or annual luck.  This will happen once for every individual when he turns 60.  For example, current year (2015) is yi-wei, people who were born in 1955 will have their year-pillar fu-yin to current year.  If  the day-pillar and 10-year luck pillar of this person do not clash, harm or penalize Real Grand Duke,  he will be all right.  If otherwise, disasters or misfortune may strike.

3.  Day-pillar and Annual luck pillar are identical (日年相齐)
This means day and annual luck pillars are "fu-yin".  If birth hour and annual luck pillar do not clash, penalize or "harm" each other, then the person will be all right.  For people with low quality 4P chart or vicious symbolic stars,  they will likely to suffer mishaps.  For those with high quality charts, they are likely to be promoted and running into good luck.

4.  Annual luck and 10-year-luck pillar are identical (岁运并临)

This means annual luck and 10-years-luck pillars are "fu-yin" or identical. If the stem and branch of these luck pillars are unfavorable, the person will suffer mishaps.  If favorable, double the benefits or blessing.

5.  Annual luck and 10-year-luck pillar are clashing (运岁冲克)

This means annual luck and 10-years-luck pillars are "fan-yin" or clashing. For example, yi-wei annual luck with ji-chou 10-year-luck.  This always stands for losing wealth, accidents or funeral.

6.  10-year-luck period switching to Jia (行运换甲)

This means a gui-water 10-years-luck switching to a jia-wood 10-year-luck.  For example, switching from gui-chou to jia-yin 10-year-luck.  This is especially unfavorable for older people.  Even the ordinary 10-year-luck switching points will likely be the problematic years.
