Give a little and gain a mountain?

A Buddhist disciple had called a master on the phone and complained,
"I have worked hard and still not achieved much, why? I have chanted mantra and done good deeds, but my destiny has not changed."
一位佛友電話抱怨道：為什麼我努力了還是得不到？念經行善了，命運卻不變？

Master: "Let me give you $500, is this OK?"
法師：我給你寄五百塊錢，好不好？

Disciple: "Master, I dare not take your money!"
佛友：師父，你的錢我不敢要呢！

Master: "I want you to help me do one thing."
法師：我是要你幫我辦一件事。

Disciple: "Master, tell me what you want and I will absolutely do it perfectly for you!"
佛友：師父，你說辦什麼，我絕對幫你辦好！

Master: "Please buy a car for me."

法師：幫我買一輛汽車。

Disciple (surprisingly): "Master, you cannot buy a car with $500!"

佛友(驚呀地)：師父，五百塊怎麼能買到汽車呢？！

Master: "You also know one cannot get a car for $500?"
法師：你知道五百塊買不到汽車？！

Revelation:
There are many people in this world trying to give a little to get a lot in return. Obviously, this is not quite possible.
啟示：
世上有太多的人都在絞盡腦汁，只想付出一點點，就得到很多。而這，顯然是不太可能的

Ken's comment: This story is applicable to any religion or even events. For example, someone admires the income of a medical doctor but does not have the patience or put in the effort needed to go through many years of medical school training. I have some people pleading for spiritual help but are not willing to put in the time and effort to get them out of their predicament. They want instant good luck with little effort or simply hearing good news. The universe is fair (in the long run). You get what you put in.

Two easy ways to enhance your luck

Today is your lucky day because I will show you two easy and free ways of enhancing your luck.

I was shopping at a department store today. While reading the label of a merchandise, a feeble voice seemed talking to me.

I was amazed to find a 90+ old gentleman standing in front of me. He saw me in a state of bewilderment because I was not sure if he talked to me. He said, "I just want to talk to you."

Maybe I look funny with a pony tail.

To my surprise, there was another 90+ years old woman walking in front of him. Both just has a walking cane though looked frail. It is rare to have a 90+ years old couple walking unassisted together. I suddenly feel great joy and lucky seeing this couple.

"In traditional China, anyone over 80 is considered god. You two are gods to me. Can I shake your hand?" I told the old gentleman.

The couple smiled and had shaken my hand. They walked away happily.

Traditional Chinese believes children under 6 (especially babies) and people over 80 are "gods". Children under 6 are not yet "socialized" or conditioned to secular beliefs that block their sixth sense and spirits. Their "spiritual eye" (the ability to sense spirits/energy) may still function. Their souls or "spirit" or aura are stronger and purer than adults. Hence, hugging or holding babies and young kids could could activate your potentials and enhance your energy, spirit, health and luck. This luck enhancing trick is called "touching aura" (沾灵气).

People over 80 have endured the "wheels" of time and "absorbed" the essence or energies of the sun and moon. Living through 80+ years is also a sign of blessing and longevity. Touching the hands of these old folks can bring us good energy and luck. This luck enhancing trick is called "accumulating blessing" (聚福气).

The easiest way to touch many old folks is to visit homes for the senior.

Go out and touch someone 80 years or older!

Quick astrology reading of royal baby Sussex

Royal baby Sussex was born today at 5:26 (May 6, 2019). This is his Bazi chart:

This is a quick Bazi reading of this royal baby chart with minimal explanations:

1. This baby boy is a "follow offspring" Gui-water daymaster (DM, the chart owner). His father Prince Harry is a strong Ren-water DM and mother is a strong Jia-wood DM. Favorable elements are non-supporting elements-- wood, fire and earth. Unfavorable elements are water and metal.

2. Chart has strong wood or +output (shang-guan or performing talent) elements. DM will likely be in performing arts career or an artist like his mother. He is smart and kind (water stands for intelligence and wood for kindness).

3. Chart has 3 out of 4 traveling horse elements (yin, shen, si and hai). He cannot sit still and will move a lot.

4. Day-branch or spouse palace sits a peach-blossom mao-wood element and is favorable. He will have a pretty and helpful wife.

5. Resource (geng-metal) or mother star is very weak, hidden and in void branch. He is likely not have close relationship with parents (month branch parental palace si-fire is in void).

6. First 4 and half 10-years-luck periods are all favorable. DM will enjoy good fame and wealth during these periods. Below average luck will come after 2064.

7. In 2064 jia-shen year and jia-zi 10-year-luck period (2059-2068), when DM is 46, luck periods will form a yin-si-shen 3-penalties. This may likely jinx his mother more than his father. Mother's chart also shows something serious may happen to her that year.

8. In 2065 yi-you year and jia-zi 10-year-luck period (2059-2068), you-metal will clash mao-wood in spouse palace and zi-water will penalize mao-wood too. This is a signal of sex scandal resulting in separation with spouse.

9. His luck from 2059-2088 will not be as smooth as the first 40 years of his luck, but he will manage to survive. But when 2089 xin-you 10-year-luck arrives, life will be very tough for him because his "follow offspring" profile will be broken.

10. Likely health issues are skin/ digestive issues, followed by kidney or heart problems.

One Pillar Bazi: Marriage Prediction

Today is your lucky day! After reading this post, you can predict one's marriage life in general without knowing much about Bazi.

Here are the step by step procedures:
1. Use the birthday the person and convert it into a Bazi natal chart with 4 columns. Each column is called a "pillar". Our focus is on the day-pillar (see Appendix below for simple procedures to do it).
2. Write down the name of the day pillar from the Bazi-Calculator output (see Appendix). In the Appendix below the example day pillar is geng-shen.
3. Match the entries below and read explanations.

KEY TO DAY-PILLAR AND MARITAL BLISS
Day-pillar consists of two parts. The upper part is the day-stem or daymaster which represents the chart owner. Lower part is the day-branch or "spouse palace". It represents the spouse of the daymaster (DM). This method checks which star occupies the spouse palace to determine marital bliss of the chart owner.

1. Great and happy marriage for male daymaster with wealth star (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) in day-branch (spouse palace). Wealth star stands for wife for a male DM. If wealth star is favorable, the male may get wealth from wife or her family. If DM is a female, the marriage is also above average because wealth star nurtures power star (husband star for female). There are eight day-pillars in this category:
-- yi-chou, yi-wei, bing-shen, ding-you, wu-zi, ji-hai, geng-yin and ren-wu.

2. Great and happy marriage for female daymaster with power star (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) in day-branch (spouse palace). Power star stands for husband for a female DM. If power star is favorable, the husband is famous with high status. If DM is a male, the marriage is also above average if he is a strong DM. There are eight day-pillars in this category:
-- jia-shen, yi-you, ding-hai, ji-mao, geng-wu, xin-si, gui-chou and gui-wei.

3. Good and happy marriage for female daymaster with resource star (zheng-yin/ pian-yin) in day-branch (spouse palace). Resource star stands for mother or older generation. Resource star in spouse palace means spouse nurturing DM. Hence it will be a happy and blissful marriage for both male and female DM. There are twelve day-pillars for this category:-- jia-zi, yi-hai, bing-yin, ding-mao, wu-wu, ji-si, geng-chen, geng-xu, xin-chou, xin-wei and ren-shen.

4. Different outcomes for female and male daymaster with output star (shang-guan/ shi-shen) in day-branch (spouse palace). Output star nurtures wealth star (wife for male DM). Output star is favorable when DM is strong. Hence for strong male DM with output star in spouse palace will have an above average marriage but poor relationship if this male DM is weak. Output star hurts power star (husband for female DM). Hence, marital relationship will be bad if female DM has output star sitting in spouse palace. There are nine day-pillars in this category:
-- jia-wu, yi-si, bing-chen, bing-xu, ji-you, geng-zi, xin-hai, ren-yin and gui-mao.

5. High divorce rate for both female and male daymasters with peer star (bi-jian/ jie-cai) in day-branch (spouse palace). Peer star controls or "snatches" wealth star (wife for male DM) and drains power star (husband for female DM). Hence people with this peer star in spouse palace have higher divorce rate. There are twelve day-pillars for this category:
-- jia-yin, yi-mao, bing-wu, ding-si, wu-xu, ji-wei, ji-chou, geng-shen, xin-you, ren-zi and gui-hai.

6. Incorrect yin-yang days are inauspicious for marriage. Both male and female born in these days will remarry. There are 12 "Incorrect yin-yang days" (阴阳差错日):
