Easy Power and Career Feng Shui

The locations specified in this article are in terms of the sitting and facing direction of a house or office/ business.  These locations, in general, are good for enhancing the power or authority and career luck of a personal.  The career location is also good for enhancing wealth.

The table below shows these locations:

HOW TO USE THESE LOCATIONS?
1.  Put your desk in any of these locations.  Put your phone or frequently used books in the left side of the desk.  Ideally the back of your chair should have a wall as "supporting mountain".
2.  Keep these locations clean and bright even if you cannot put a desk there.  Put away figurines or pictures of animals that clash your Chinese Zodiac animal sign.  For example, if ram is your birth animal sign, do not put pictures or statues of ox in these locations.
3. If you are in people-oriented business,  put up pictures or figurines of animals that combine with your birth animal sign.  For example, for a ram person, put up horse, pig, or rabbit.  One animal of each type is good enough.
4.  To enhance your authority or power, put symbols of power/ authority according to your local cultural belief.  For example, Chinese people would put seals or caldron as decorations in the power location.
5.  To enhance your career and wealth, put symbols of career and wealth according to your local cultural belief in the career location.
6.  For male, make sure NW has no toilet and SW for female.

These locations are based on Feng Shui theory.  People who have taken my "Practical Door Feng Shui for Wealth" would understand the rational behind.

Bazi: Do you attract "mean people" or backstabbers 易招小人八字

Previous post has discussed about Feng Shui features that attract "mean people"-- people who displace you, push you around, backstabbing, blocking your advancement or simply make your life unbearable.

Besides blaming it on Feng Shui, your own Bazi chart can also be the reason for attracting "mean people".  Below are the Bazi characteristics of people who draw mean people.

Weak daymaster (DM) with strong power stars (zheng-guan/ qi-sha)
Strong power stars are unfavorable to a weak DM.  Weak DM is unable to control strong power stars.  In turn, these power stars will attack DM.  These power stars become "mean people" to him/ her.  On the other hand, if  DM is strong and able to control power stars (this depends on the DM strength and power star strength differential), this DM becomes a "mean person" to other people!

Strong DM with unfavorable peer stars (bi-jian/ jie-cai)

When a DM is strong, peer stars become unfavorable because they will make DM even stronger like an over-inflated balloon.  In this scenario, the negative aspects of peer stars will show up-- provocative, deceptive, manipulative, treacherous, instigative and the like.  Peer stars stand for friends, siblings, co-workers, and peer groups.  Hence this DM will suffer from these people representing peer stars or "mean people".

Feng Shui features that attract mean people 犯小人风水

"Xiao ren" or "little people" is the Chinese term for mean people, backstabbers and gossipers -- people who make your life miserable or blocking your progress in life.

Common Feng Shui features that attract mean people are:

1. External negative energy (sha-qi) like T-junction, heaven-chopping sha, and other form sha.
2. Missing corner in home or office, especially SE or NW side.
3. Overhanging beam above your seat or bed
4. Door facing door, whether with your neighbor's door or door facing door inside your home or office
5. Window behind sofa, bed or office chair (no support or helpful mentor)
6. "Yin" plants with thorns like roses, cactus, climbing plants/ vines
7. Clutters and  garbage accumulation in your home or office
8. Sleeping or sitting in the annual 3-wood star location (2018 in NE, 2019 in south, 2020 in north).  This star stands for disharmony and mean people.

Some remedies or cures for the above are from simple to difficult.  The easy ones are simply removing or relocating the offending Feng Shui items.  For the difficult ones, please consult your Feng Shui teacher or take the following course for cures or remedies:

Master-Killing Days and Feng Shui Audit Precautions 地师杀师日时

Traditional Feng Shui masters have many "no luopan opening" days within each year.  These days are usually called "master-killing days" (杀师日 ) to really scare practitioners to think twice before opening their luopan (Feng Shui compass) for audit.

The #1 section below is taken from my "Practical Date-Selection Methods Collection" course manual. 

1.  MASTER YANG’S AVOIDANCE DAYS 揚公忌日

These 13 days are not suitable to do anything.  It is also called “Master-killing days”—not suitable to do Feng Shui audit, grand-opening, marriage, setup bed, burial, trading, receiving payment, taking new post and the like. 

Avoid being called “Master” in these days.  And don't call people "master" in these days too.

"Luo-hou" is the name of a star.  According to traditional belief, using a luopan during Luo-hou hour days/hours will be hazardous and dangerous to the Feng Shui practitioner.

All these no-luopan or master-killing days can easily knockout a month of working days per year, not to mention everyday also has two 2-hour blocks of "master-killing hours".

In general, if you current luck is not low and you do not do yin (tomb) Feng Shui or old houses with "hidden residents" (ghosts), not following these taboo days may not affect you much.  If otherwise, you may either become disoriented, have fever/ diarrhea, suffer a major illness, accident or even death after doing a Feng Shui audit.

FENG SHUI AUDIT PRECAUTIONS AND PROTECTION FOR PRACTITIONERS
For safety, you should not do Feng Shui audit after 5 pm (because ghosts become active).  When doing Feng Shui audit, carry talismans or religious objects for protection, do not drink anything provided by client other than canned soda (no ice cubes) and do not use client's bathroom (not leaving your energy imprint there).  As an extra precaution, Feng Shui remedies/ fixes should not be discussed inside client's house.  This is because certain Feng Shui remedies could change the energy field of the house and drive the ghosts away (you don't want them to know it is your idea or they may follow you).

Not everyone can afford not generating income for almost a month per year due to this luopan taboo.  There are Daoist and Buddhist mantra that one can chant to override this taboo.  But you must get authorization from the master (teacher) to use it.  Below is one that my students may chant before using a luopan for protection, even if the day is not a master-killing day.

 罗盘忌讳化解咒语

"一二三四五，金木水火土，无形通天地，八卦定乾坤，盘古开天地，山隍土地护，姜尚先师到，百煞请回避，吾奉杨公祖师令，到此开盘定九宫，天无忌，地无忌，阴阳无忌，百无禁忌。"

念毕咒语后，用剑指在罗盘上画四纵五横，顺转三圈，边画边念：天无忌，地无忌，阴阳无忌，百无禁忌。
