Old People and Dogs in China

There are still some dog-loving people in China even they have the notorious dog-meat festival there.  Today I share photos of dogs and some Chinese old people.

A major difference between cats and dogs with old Chinese folks is that dogs are more likely to help their homeless owners to "work" or panhandle.  Dog's facial expression, very often, is reflective of its owners emotional state.  Both cats and dogs do not discriminate whether their owners are old, sick, poor or homeless.  They will keep following them regardless.

Old people and cats in China

Despite the Chinese are notorious for eating anything that moves, cats are luckier than dogs because they are not as popular as dog cuisine (except in Vietnam).  Cats are more popular in China for old people because they are easier to care for than dogs.
