This post is based on last year's "Grand Duke Talisman charity drive" with updates for 2015.If you have read my old message about functions of Grand Duke, you know that there are two Grand Dukes watching over your shoulder, counting the good and bad deeds that you have done and executing rewards and misfortunes accordingly. This is a major rationale that donation to get your Grand Duke talisman. When your talisman is grounded with a charitable deed, GD is less likely to execute any misfortunes due from your karma account. Another rationale for donation is the exchange of energy-- using a charitable deed in exchange of protection energy from Grand Duke.
2015 GRAND DUKE GENERAL YANG XIAN
2015 is Yi-wei or year of wood-ram. Grand Duke for the year is General Yang Xian who was a military officer in Song Dynasty (960- 1279). Yang was interested in alchemy and metaphysics since his childhood. He had traveled and lived as a hermit in various holy mountains. A government official Master Zhu had invited Yang to stay in his home for a few years. Yang could predict future very accurately. One day, after a banquet, Yang suddenly told Zhu that he will leave the earth. Yang had died later without any sickness.
Two years later, on his way to the capital, Zhu ran into Yang suddenly. They had chatted like old acquaintances. Zhu had inquired about what had happened, but Yang did not answer. later, Zhu had returned to his hometown and went to check Yang's tomb. He had opened the tomb and found the tomb was empty.
2015 GRAND DUKE TALISMAN
Yi-wei or year of wood-ram can be challenging for people with Ji-chou or xin-chou pillar in their Bazi charts because these pillars "fan-yin" or "battle" with both the stem and branch of the Grand Duke. It is especially serious if your day-pillar is Ji-chou or xin-chou pillar because it means something may happen to you or your spouse.
Here are the four groups of people who need Grand Duke Talismans:
1. "Fu-yin" or same animal sign of Grand Duke 值太岁-- people with RAM sign
Birth years: 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003
Symptoms: obstacles, stagnation or running "reverse" instead of forward and not suitable for travels.
2. "Fan-yin" or "clashing" the animal sign of Grand Duke 冲太岁-- people with OX sign
Birth years: 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009
Symptoms: big fluctuations in luck, accident, sickness, surgery, losing competitions/wealth, moving, death, changing job
3. "Hai" or "harming" the animal sign of Grand Duke 害太岁-- people with RAT sign
Birth years: 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008
Symptoms: backstabbing at work, and success slips away in the last minute
4. "Xing" or "penalizing" the animal sign of Grand Duke 刑太岁-- people with DOG sign
Birth years: 1910, 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006
Symptoms: legal problems, accidents, injuries by knife, disloyalty from lover, subordinates, coworkers and friends (penalty of ingratitude)
GRAND DUKE TALISMAN FOR FENG SHUI REMEDY
If your house faces Wei mountain or SW1 direction, you need to put up a Grand Duke talisman facing that direction and avoid construction, earth-digging and demolition there.
If your desk or wherever you sit for an extended time faces Wei mountain or SW1 direction, you can put up a Grand Duke talisman there for protection. It is not auspicious to face the Grand Duke direction. It weakens your competition power in business/career and examinations. However, if you arrange your seat so that SW1 will be at your back (and put a Grand Duke talisman there), you will get Grand Duke as support and is good for competition and business.
GRAND DUKE TALISMAN OFFERS
This year we use digital delivery of Grand Duke Talismans because "snail mail" is slow and prone to losses. Ken Lai will create a GD Talisman with user name, city and country imprinted, bless and "activate" individually on screen digitally. This unique activated GD file will be emailed to you. You can print as many copies as you want (but for one unique-named person only). In this way, you can replace soiled or damaged talismans. You can carry one talisman in your wallet and post one in your home and/or office for Feng Shui remedy. You get more "mileage" from a single donation this way.

You send your money directly to your favorite local or international charity. You do NOT need to purchase any additional item from me or anyone else. No future solicitation of any type will be sent to you. This offer is for people who have no access to Daoist temples. Please support your local temple if you have access to one.
