"Hero kills corrupted officials! Coward kills kids"

8 kindergarteners are killed and over 20 are injured in China today (May 12, 2010).   Just within the last 30 days, there are over 5 incidents of school violence targeting mostly kindergarten and primary school students.  Most of the violences are committed by males with mental problems or grudges against authorities.  Children were stabbed or chopped with knives. Even the Chinese government has tight control on media report of school violence to prevent copycats, violence against small kids continues.

China's one-child policy aggravates the pain to the victim's parents.  The deceased children are likely the only child of the family.

People are demonstrated against these kid-killings.  They put out the banner, "Hero kills corrupted officials! Coward kills kids."  Some of the killers were embittered by corrupted officials or social injustice and resorted to killing defenseless kids to draw attention.

A banner put in front of a kindergarten even directs any potential killer to goverment office and not their school.

In terms of Chinese metaphysics, there are some startling coincidences about kid-killing in China.  Current year is Geng-yin (metal-tiger).  Geng-metal is knife or axe.  Yin is part of the Gen trigram (gua) in the 24 mountains.  Gen stands for young kids.  Annual star 6-white metal lands on the east (China).  "6" is Qian or older male. The whole imagery of a knife over a young kid happens in the east by an older male emerges.

Chinese government has ordered school officials to tighten security in the schools.

An Unusal "Time 100" Heroine

61 years old Chen Shu-chu, is a Taiwan woman who has been selling vegetables for 47 years since she was 13.

Chen works 16 hours days and lives an extreme frugual life. She has donated NT$10M (about US$330k) of her hard-earned money to charities. TIME MAGAZINE has chosen her as one of the "Time 100" heroes.

Extreme real estate marketing-- no more!

Last October I had written about a Hong Kong real estate developer who markets a 40 storeys buildings as an 88-storeys one by skipping certain "inauspicious floor numbers" (the 4s and 13) and pumping up the auspicious ones (the 8s).  The following link can refresh your memory:

In order to protect the gullible billionaires and wealthy pandas from China (who tend to buy expensive real estates), the Hong Kong Government has just issued the following new law regarding the labeling of floor numbers:
1.  no jumping or skipping of floor numbers (except below)
2.  only floor number with 4, 13 and last digit is 4 can be skipped.

The law will be effective from September 1, 2010.  This means a builder can only legally skip 4th, 13th, 14th or any number ending with 4, but not skipping any number starting with 4.   Therefore, new building with missing 40th to 49th floors will not be seen again after 9/1/2010.  Builders are out of luck to arbitarily skipping bad numbers or adding hot-selling floor numbers.

The number 4 sounds like "death" in Chinese.  Some "smart" masters think they can consider 4 as the academic and romance star used in the Flying Star system.  This may block the negative vibes or phobia-- hopefully. 

Certain Feng Shui schools use floor number to calculate if a particular floor is "in luck" or matching the magnetic profile of the residents.  An "artificial" floor number probably will not cut it and requires the actual floor number to do the calculation.

Chinese Metaphysics Perspective on Polish Plane Crash

I am saddened by the tragic Polish plane crash and have been looking for any metaphysical explanations in the last few days.  I have found some critical info from today's AP news:

Here are the critical data:
Crash date and time: April 10, 10:56  (9:56 when adjusted for summer time)
Age of pilots:   Capt. Arkadiusz Protasiuk, 36, and the co-pilot as Maj. Robert Grzywna, 36. Also in the cockpit were Ensign Andrzej Michalak, 36, and Lt. Artur Zietek, 31.
Age of President Kaczynski : 60
Number of attempts to land:  5 (crashed on the 5th attempt)

Destination city's relative direction to Warsaw: Northeast

A quick glance would show Grand Duke probably is involved in this tragedy.  Grand Duke is the "Ruler" of the year according to Chinese metaphysics.  If your age is a multiple of 12, you are "violating" Grand Duke for the year.  Three out of the 4 people (including the pilots) in the cockpit were 36 years old or "violating Grand Duke".  President kaczynski was 60 and hence also "violating Grand Duke".  Besides, the plane is flying towards northeast or against the Grand Duke direction of the Tiger year.

If we factor in the traveling time and 5 attemps to land, it was very likely the plane took off  before 9am. The 4-Pillars chart at take-off time was:

YEAR:  GENG-YIN  (metal-wood)

MONTH: GENG-CHEN (metal-earth)

DAY: GENG-YIN (metal-wood)

HOUR: GENG-CHEN (metal-earth)

Besides day and year pillar fu-yin (identical), of this chart shows "battling of metal and wood".  Metal seemed to have an upperhand in Chen hour.  But when the clock switched to Si hour (9:00- 11:00), the chart looked like this:

YEAR: GENG-YIN (metal-wood)
MONTH: GENG-CHEN (metal-earth)
DAY: GENG-YIN (metal-wood)
HOUR: XIN-SI (metal-FIRE)

Yin is jia-wood or tree.  Si is fire.  Geng is metal or plane.  The plane hit some trees, crashed and burned.  This chart also has a hidden Yin-Si-Shen 3-penalities.  Geng is the main component of Shen-metal.  Yi-Si-Shen 3-Penalties usually involves traffic accidents or injuries/ deaths by metal.

In terms of Qi-Men-Dun-Jia, the northeast direction for April 10, Geng-Chen hour chart has the following components:

Heaven/earth plates: Xin and Wu (fan-yin or fighting here)
8-Gate:  Jing-men (Surprise Gate, metal in nature)
8-Gods:  She (snake, fire in nature)
9-Stars:  Rui/ Qin (earth in nature, fan-yin or fighting here)
Both the time and directions are non-auspicious with an imagery of fire burning metal. 

Since the flight took longer than 2 hours, I have check the QMDJ day chart.  The results are more stunning.

The day chart is full of problems:
1.  9-Stars fu-yin  (energies not moving)
2.  8-Gates fan-yin (energies fighting each other)
3.  9-Stems fu-yin (energies not moving)  
 
The plane flew towards northeast direction.  Northeast palace has the worst combinations in the whole chart.  It has Si or Death Gate with Geng-metal fu-yin.  The only positive energy left there is the Lead-God Fu which is not powerful enough to neutralize the negative energies.
 
In terms of QMDJ, the "inauspicious" direction can be changed by flying to Ukraine and stopping-over for 2 or more hours.  This will convert the flight direction from northeast to the south, which is more "manageable" or less inauspicious. 
 
Finally, I would like to express my condolence to my Polish friends and students.

Happiness from borrowed light

On March 12, someone had posted a blog message titled "Touching!  Nan-Chang female beggar 'borrows light' to read for almost 3 years" onto a Chinese website.  Within 2 days, over 6 million page views and 20 thousands netizens discuss about this woman online.  So here comes the birth of another Chinese internet celebrity, "Sister Novel"小说姐-- right after "Brother Sharp".   Newspaper and TV reporters hound around her ever since.

"Sister Novel" is a 35 years old homeless woman who is seen reading books with "borrowed light" from the door-steps of a business in the evening after hours.  She does not really read anything profounded but just novels, especially the martial arts novels written by the famous Hong Kong writer Jin Yong.  People seemed to be touched by her persistence to read with "borrowed light" despite misfortunes and hardship.

"Sister Novel's" real name is Chen Mui.  She had lived in a happy family until she was 10-- when her father had indulged in gambling, lost everything and disappeared.  She was forsaken by her mother when she was 12.  Her grandmother had passed when she was 14 with no relatives left to support her.  Chen had left her village and begins her "wandering" or homeless life.

Chen had married when she was 18.  She gave birth to a girl.  The couple made a living by scavenging.  But the husband took away her life-savings and ran way with her daughter.  Her second husband did the same thing to her-- ran away with her savings.

The worst thing of being homeless is not hunger or cold weather but when to expect sexual assault coming.  It happens to her every year.  "I had resisted assault in the beginning.  But I dare not resist later or I'll be beaten up."  Said Chen. 

Chen does not like people calling her "beggar". "I'm a wanderer, not beggar." She does not beg and refuse taking money from people.

Chen's happiest time is when she reads in the evening.  During the day, she picks up empty mineral water bottles to make enough money to pay for her book rental and nothing more.   If there is no money for food, she will pick up left-over food from garbage cans.  She does not want to have any saving for fear of being swindled again.

People are deeply touched by Chen's inner-strength and simple happiness--  being homeless for 21 years due to father's gambling and mother ran away, dumped and swindled by two busbands and under the threat of sexual assault-- yet she refuses handouts and money from people, subsists on her meagre income and finds happiness through reading with "borrowed light".  She only had a grade 5 (primary school) education.

The 4P Secrets of "Brother Sharp"- Fashion Icon (and Beggar Prince) of China

"Brother Sharp" 犀利哥 is the nickname given by netizens in China to a homeless man for his chic fashion taste. A photographer took his picture and post it on the web. He becomes a fashion icon and web sensation overnight. His fame has spread to Taiwan, Japan and even UK's Independent newspaper has an article on him.

Brother Sharp has mental disorder and can barely communicate with people!

Here is some life events of Brother Sharp:

• He was born in Oct. 10, 1976 in a rural area.
• His family is poor. He has a brother and sister.
• He got married, has two boys.
• He became a migrant worker in 2000. He had lost contacts with his family after 3 years.
• His father and wife had died in a traffic accident in 2009.
• He had been roaming around the street of Ningbao city, Zhejiang Province for years.
• In early March of this year, someone took his picture and posted it on the web. The rest is fashion history.

What do you see? Xu-chou-wei 3-penalties (3P)! Do you remember that I have written about 3-Penalies previously that it can be negative and positive? 3P also is likely to jinx the daymaster's close relatives.

Brother Sharp's natal chart and 10-year luck period form a 3P. In 2009, another Chou (ox) comes to activate the 3P--- wife and father died of traffic accident. Why wife and father got the jinx? (see the answer in 4PBC list)

Interesting thing is the suddenly fame through NO effort of his own-- also due to 3P! But why this happens in Yin (tiger) year and is "positive"? (answer in 4PBC list)

Because of his sudden fame, he has reunited with his family and received possible assistance from the government. A famous movie director plans to use his image and develop it into a movie. There are already fashion packages based on his look sold in China.

Brother Sharp before and after "cleaning up"

The sad thing is-- after his hair-cut and clean up with normal cloths, people no longer see him as "Brother Sharp". He has lost his "chic".

I have tested his 4P chart using all the hours. All except one will give him a real or fake follow wealth chart. But reality shows he is dirt poor with a chart that is full of wealth elements. So it must be a weak chart or he would have been rich. It is a case of "failure to become a special chart" (implies miserable life!).

Brother Sharp resumes his homeless life

After Brother Sharp became a "fashion icon" and famous, he had worked for a theme park as an "attraction" and also spokesman for some products.  All marketing plans had failed due to his mental problems.  Owing to his "fame", he got therapy from a mental institution for a year.  But his mental problems persists-- dislikes human contacts, does not bath or change clothing and lacking personal hygiene.  He has "disappeared" after leaving the mental institution and become homeless again.

Bazi: Tiger-snake-monkey and Dog-ox-ram 3-Penalties

The combinations of Tiger-snake-monkey (yin-si-shen) and Dog-ox-ram  (xu-chou-wei) are called 3-penalties.  3-penalities (3P) is one of the more serious afflictions in 4-Pillars or Bazi astrology.

With 6 out of 12 branches involving 3-penalties, there is a 50% chance that a year is 3P-prone, like last year's chou and current year's yin. (Note: zi-mao is also considered one of the 3Ps).

For people with monkey sign in a tiger (yin) year, it is not difficult to run into a snake (si) luck period or with snake in one of the 3 branches in the natal chart--- this combination hits the 3P jackpot!

Natal charts with in-born 3P elements are likely to attract bickering or back-stabbing incidents throughout day-master's (DM) life. 3P formed with natal chart and luck periods is likely to cause accidents, legal problems, financial losses, sickness, marital breakup and even death. Another characteristic is 3P is likely to jinx DM's close relatives like parents, spouse and offspring.

While 3P may not be always negative, but it is more likely to be negative. When it is positive or negative? I'll give you some general ideas here.

What are the differences between tiger-snake-monkey (yin-si-shen) and dog-ox-ram (xu-chou-wei) 3 penalties? Yin-si-shen 3P generally involves "bodily harm" like sickness and accidents. Xu-chou-wei 3P is more into relationship problem, lawsuits, legal problems, bickering, gossiping, backstabbing and etc.

When 3P can be positive to the DM? According to 4P classics, strong DM can handle 3P and weak DM cannot. So this may explain the differences in outcome for people with the same 3P.

There are also "Na-yin 3P" and "Shen-sha 3P" theories to predict outcomes of 3P. These topics hopefully will show up in the advanced version of my Bazi/ 4P courses.
