DO YOU NEED A GRAND DUKE TALISMAN?

1.  If you have the Chinese zodiac birth animal sign of pig (born in 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983 1995, 2007, 2019)

2.  If ANY pillar of your Bazi natal chart has a "Hai" or pig:  Click the following link and enter your birthday and birth hour in the "birth chart" windows, to generate you Bazi natal chart.  Then check if there is any Hai or pig in the chart.  You only need to check the left side Birth Chart.  For example, this Nov. 16, 1995, 21:01 chart:

From right to left:  Year, Month, Day, Hour

-- This person is in big trouble this year with pig branches because Grand Duke clashes all the pillars.  This could be major misfortunes or even death.

MEANING OF GRAND  DUKE CLASHING EACH PILLAR:

1. Year pillar:  you or your senior relative may have obstacles or misfortune
2. Month pillar:  your parents or siblings may have misfortune
3. Day pillar:  you or your spouse may have misfortune, divorce or even death
4. Hour pillar:  your children or younger relative may be in trouble

You are strongly recommended to get a GD talisman if you have a pig in any pillar in your natal chart, especially the day pillar (Yi-hai, Ding-hai, Ji-hai, Xin-hai and Gui-hai).  A MUST if you have Yi-hai or Ding-hai day pillar because both you and your spouse are in danger.

People with the following Chinese zodiac animal signs could also be benefited from a GD talisman: snake, monkey and tiger.

HOW TO GET THIS GD TAILISMAN?  This year we use digital delivery of Grand Duke Talismans. Ken Lai will create a GD Talisman, blessed and "activated" with your name on screen digitally in front of a Dou-Mou altar. This personalized activated GD file will be emailed to you with notes.  You can print as many copies as you want (but for one unique-named person or family only).  In this way, you can replace soiled or damaged talismans.  You can carry one talisman in your wallet and post one in your home and/or office for Feng Shui remedy.

Is the Year of Rabbit dangerous for you?

This question can be answered by checking your Bazi chart.  Year 2023 is the year of water-rabbit or Gui-mao.  If your chart has a pillar that is antagonistic or opposite to Gui-mao, it means you are battling the rulers of the year-- Gui-water is the "Year ruler" (歲君) and Mao-rabbit is the Grand Duke of the year.

Charts with the following pillars have the greatest "danger" because they are battling with the the year ruler and Grand Duke:

• Ding-you  (fire-rooster)
• Ji-you  (earth-rooster)

If any of these pillars is your day-pillar, it means the clash is on you or the daymaster!  This could mean serious illness, injury or even death.  You should very worry and careful if you are currently in-between 33- 48 years old.

If any of these pillars is your year-pillar, it means your parents or senior relatives may have issues this year. 

If any of these pillars is your month-pillar, it means your siblings or parents may need to be cautious this year.   If you are over  60 years old, clashing the month pillar is not a good sign because is considered as "the dam" of your chart.

If any of these pillars is your hour-pillar,  your children may be in trouble.

Grand Duke Talisman charity drive 2023

This post is based on my past posts about "Grand Duke Talisman charity drive" with updates for 2023.

If you have read my old message about functions of Grand Duke, you know that there are two Grand Dukes watching over your shoulder, counting the good and bad deeds that you have done and executing rewards and misfortunes accordingly.  

Our Grand Duke talismans are consecrated with the energy from Grand Duke and his mother Dou-mou (mother or commander of 60 Grand Dukes).  Hopefully, our talismans will motivate Grand Duke to be easy and generous on you when his mother is around him.

Why do we ask for a charitable donation for this talisman?  When your talisman is grounded with a charitable deed, GD is less likely to execute any misfortunes due from your karma account. The rationale for donation is an exchange of energy-- using a charitable deed in exchange of protection energy from Grand Duke.  One cannot get something out of nothing.

2023 GRAND DUKE GENERAL PI-SHI  癸卯太歲皮时    

2023 is Gui-mao or year of water-rabbit.  Grand Duke for the year is General Pi-shi who was a military commander in Northern Wei Dynasty (386- 535).

DO YOU NEED A 2023  GRAND DUKE TALISMAN? 

For 2023, five groups of people need Grand Duke Talismans:

1. "Fu-yin" or same animal sign of Grand Duke 值太岁-- people with rabbit sign

• Birth years: 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011  
• Symptoms: obstacles, stagnation or running "reverse" instead of forward and not suitable for travels. 

2. "Fan-yin" or "clashing" the animal sign of Grand Duke 冲太岁-- people with rooster sign

• Birth years:  1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017
• Symptoms: big fluctuations in luck, accident, sickness, surgery, losing competitions/wealth, moving, death, changing job

3.  "Hai" or "harming" the animal sign of Grand Duke 害太岁-- people with dragon sign 

• Birth years: 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012 
• Symptoms: interpersonal relationship problems, negative romance, marital problem, backstabbing  

4. "Po" or "breaking" the animal sign of Grand Duke 破太岁-- -- people with horse sign

• Birth years:  1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014   
• Symptoms: backstabbing at work, over-consumption, no luck in non-regular income like gambling/ stock and success slips away in the last minute

5.  "Xing" or "penalizing" the animal sign of Grand Duke 刑太岁---- people with rat sign

• Birth years:  1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020
• Symptoms: big fluctuations in luck, wealth, career, relationship and health; traffic accident, sickness, surgery, losing competitions/wealth, moving, death,  negative romance, quarrels and etc.

House violating Grand Duke
In 2023 Gui-mao year, if your house faces mao-rabbit mountain or E2  (82.5- 97.5 degree) direction, your house is said to be "violating Grand Duke."  House violating GD will affect the overall luck, health and well-being of the people living inside.  The remedy is either avoiding movements, construction, earth-digging and demolition there or put up a Grand Duke talisman facing NE3 direction.  The opposite side of Grand Duke is Year-breaker (Sui-po, W2 or You mountain).  This location should avoid digging and activities too. 

Even with the GD talisman, if you need to do construction, you still need to do a date-selection for an auspicious date and start digging on a non-GD direction and finish last on the GD direction. 

Desk violating Grand Duke 

If your desk or wherever you sit for an extended time faces Mao-rabbit mountain or E2 direction, you can put up a Grand Duke talisman there for protection. It is not auspicious to face the Grand Duke direction.  It weakens your competition power in business/career and examinations. However, if you arrange your seat so that E2 will be at your back (and put a Grand Duke talisman there), you will get Grand Duke as support and is good for competition and business.

2022 GRAND DUKE GENERAL HE-E  壬寅太歲賀諤    

2022 is Ren-yin or year of water-tiger.  Grand Duke for the year is General Hé é who was a military commander in Yuan Dynasty (1271- 1368) specialized in attack warfare.

DO YOU NEED A 2022  GRAND DUKE TALISMAN? 

Five groups of people who need Grand Duke Talismans:

1. "Fu-yin" or same animal sign of Grand Duke 值太岁-- people with tiger sign

• Birth years: 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010

SPECIAL NOTE:   "3-penalties" is formed when a chart has tiger (yin), snake (si) and monkey (shen).  Serious misfortune such as major accident/ illness, losing wealth or even death may occur.  So even if your animal sign is not one of the above BUT your natal chart and luck period bring in Yin (tiger), Si (snake) and/ or Shen (monkey), you are also violating Grand Duke indirectly.  For example, you are not a monkey sign (shen) person but you have a shen inside your natal chart or luck period brings in a shen. 
 
GRAND DUKE TALISMAN FOR FENG SHUI REMEDY
If your house faces Yin mountain or NE3 direction, you need to put up a Grand Duke talisman facing that direction and avoid construction, earth-digging and demolition there.

If your desk or wherever you sit for an extended time facing Yin mountain or NE3 direction, you can put up a Grand Duke talisman there for protection.  It is not auspicious to face the Grand Duke direction.  It weakens your competition power in business/career and examinations.  However, if you arrange your seat so that NE3 will be at your back (and put a Grand Duke talisman there), you will get Grand Duke as support and is good for competition and business.
