Predicting marital blessing using day pillar 日柱看婚姻

In a Bazi chart, the day pillar represents the daymaster (DM) or chart owner and his/ her spouse palace. Hence, it is possible to get a quick prediction of marital blessing by simply checking the day pillar.

To find your day pillar, log into www.bazi-calculator.com, key in your birthday, check the output "Birth chart", the second column from the left is your day pillar.

DAY PILLAR COMPOSITION AND MARITAL BLESSING

1. Day branch or spouse palace is occupied by a wealth star (zheng-cai/ pian-cai): Yi-chou, yi-wei, bing-shen, ding-you, wu-zi, ji-hai, geng-yin and ren-wu. Wealth star stands for wife for a male DM. It implies a good marriage when a wealth star sits in the spouse palace. This is called "matching star and palace 宫星同位". If wealth star is favorable, DM will get wife's wealth in addition to a happy marriage. If DM is a female, the marriage is still above average because wealth star can nurture power star (husband).

2. Day branch or spouse palace is occupied by a power star (zheng-guan/ qi-sha): Jia-shen, yi-you, ding-hai, ji-mao, geng-wu, xin-si, gui-chou, and gui-wei. Power star stands for husband for a female DM. It implies a good marriage when a power star sits in the spouse palace. If power star is favorable, DM will enjoy good status/ reputation and relationship due to husband. This is called "matching star and palace 宫星同位". If DM is a male, wife may boss him around because power star controls DM.

3. Day branch or spouse palace is occupied by a resource star (zheng-yin/ pian-yin) means DM is nurtured by the spouse palace: Jia-zi, yi-hai, bing-yin, ding-mao, wu-wu, ji-si, geng-chen, geng-xu, xin-chou, xin-wei, ren-shen and gui-you. Resource star stands for mother/ elder for both male and female DM. DM sits on a resource star implies DM's wife or husband will take care of him/ her like a mother. It is even better if resource star is favorable.

4. Day branch or spouse palace is occupied by an output star (shang-guan/ shi-shen) means DM nurtures the spouse palace: Jia-wu, yi-hai, yi-si, bing-chen, bing-xu, ji-you, geng-zi, xin-hai, ren-yin, gui-mao and wu-shen. Different outcomes for male and female DM with output star in spouse palace:

Male DM: Though wealth or wife star does not sit in spouse palace, but output star will nurture wealth star. If DM is strong and wealth is favorable, DM will have good relationship/ marriage with wife. If weak and unfavorable, DM will have poor marital relationship.
Female DM: Power or husband star does not sit in spouse palace. Instead, output star, the arch-enemy of husband star, sits there to confront husband. This likely causes marital setbacks.

5. Day branch or spouse palace is occupied by a peer star (jie-cai/ bi-jian) means DM shares the same element with the the spouse palace: Jia-yin, yi-hai, yi-mao, bing-wu, ding-si, wu-xu, wu-chen, ji-wei, ji-si, geng-shen, xin-you, ren-zi and gui-hai. Peer star controls and "plunders" wealth star and sits in spouse palace, for male DM, this means marital disharmony and wife may be "snatched" by another man. For female DM, peer star steals wealth which is meant for nurturing husband star. In addition, peer star may combine or steal power star (husband). All this signifies marital disharmony.

How to check marital disasters 婚灾發生時間

"Marital disasters" here refer to:

quarrels and bickering
violence-- battered wife/ husband
affairs
one spouse suffers severe illness or died of sickness/ accident
divorce, separation or cannot see each other much

PREDICTING THE TIMING OF MARITAL DISASTERS

Marital disasters are likely to happen after the couple is over 30 years old. Below are the likely timing of occurrence:

When annual luck stem or branch clashing spouse star (wealth star for male and power star for female)
When annual luck stem or branch combining with spouse star-- is prone to affair or spouse runs away with another person
When annual luck branch clashing the spouse star in the natal chart
When annual luck stem or branch combines the the person's day branch (day branch is the spouse palace in Bazi)
When male spouse running into peer (bi-jie/ jie-cai) or wealth star (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) annual luck AND this luck clashes or penalizes or harms or combines with day or month branch-- is prone to have marital problem like quarreling, divorce, illness, disability or even death.
When female spouse running into output (shang-guan/ shi-shen) or power star (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) annual luck AND this luck branch clashes or penalizes or harms or combines with day or month branch-- is prone to have marital problem like quarreling, divorce, illness, disability or even death.

When to call in Feng Shui help 2022 edition

My article on "When to call in Feng Shui help" in 2009 is one of the most read and quoted in this blog. Here I add more ideas again into this list. Hopefully this may drum up some businesses for Feng Shui practitioners.

WHEN TO CALL IN FENG SHUI CONSULTANT:

-- before you buy a new property or office
-- before you do remodeling of an existing property
-- before you add an extension or new level into your existing building
-- before you move into a new rental property
-- many unexpected and unpleasant events like burglary, fire, water-leaks, sickness and familial disharmony happened after moving into a new property
-- family members suddenly have unusually high incidence of accidents, losing jobs, lawsuit, health and money problems
-- serious health problems like cancer
-- health problems that cannot be explained or detected by modern medicine
-- multiple deaths in the family
-- children's academic performance suddenly drops like a rock
-- children become rebellious and secretive
-- family members do not like staying home or returning late
-- more arguments among family members
-- martial relationship suddenly turns toxic and affairs
-- problem in conceiving baby for female; sexual dysfunction for male
-- problem getting married for singles in the family
-- frequent nightmares
-- insecure feeling/ depression
-- seeing or hearing some inexplicable images or objects in home
-- problem getting sleep
-- life overall is full of obstacles with many backstabbers
-- losing good friendship/ social connections

-- problem controlling temper before reaching menopause
-- declining wealth luck and financial problems
-- problem keeping or saving money
-- tranquil life suddenly turning tumultuous
-- the surrounding environment of your house has changed significantly like addition of tall buildings, bridge, road, pool. public toilet, big rock/ sculpture, removal or addition of big tree/s, garbage dump and the likes.
-- unexpected unfavorable career changes or lawsuits
-- stable job or career suddenly unpredictable and insecure
-- you feel your work performance is not fairly compensated nor recognized by your boss
-- (For business owners): Both the management and employees work hard but the books are still in red or difficult to run.
(For business owners): When major supervisors/ managers change work or office locations, a Feng Shui audit is needed.
-- (For business owners): Lots of bickering among employees and irrational turnover.

Finally, be very careful when you choose a Feng Shui practitioner. If a person is in bad luck period, his/ her probability of running into a lousy Feng Shui practitioner is very high.
