DO YOU NEED A GRAND DUKE TALISMAN?

1.  If you have the Chinese zodiac birth animal sign of pig (born in 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983 1995, 2007, 2019)

2.  If ANY pillar of your Bazi natal chart has a "Hai" or pig:  Click the following link and enter your birthday and birth hour in the "birth chart" windows, to generate you Bazi natal chart.  Then check if there is any Hai or pig in the chart.  You only need to check the left side Birth Chart.  For example, this Nov. 16, 1995, 21:01 chart:

From right to left:  Year, Month, Day, Hour

-- This person is in big trouble this year with pig branches because Grand Duke clashes all the pillars.  This could be major misfortunes or even death.

MEANING OF GRAND  DUKE CLASHING EACH PILLAR:

1. Year pillar:  you or your senior relative may have obstacles or misfortune
2. Month pillar:  your parents or siblings may have misfortune
3. Day pillar:  you or your spouse may have misfortune, divorce or even death
4. Hour pillar:  your children or younger relative may be in trouble

You are strongly recommended to get a GD talisman if you have a pig in any pillar in your natal chart, especially the day pillar (Yi-hai, Ding-hai, Ji-hai, Xin-hai and Gui-hai).  A MUST if you have Yi-hai or Ding-hai day pillar because both you and your spouse are in danger.

People with the following Chinese zodiac animal signs could also be benefited from a GD talisman: snake, monkey and tiger.

HOW TO GET THIS GD TAILISMAN?  This year we use digital delivery of Grand Duke Talismans. Ken Lai will create a GD Talisman, blessed and "activated" with your name on screen digitally in front of a Dou-Mou altar. This personalized activated GD file will be emailed to you with notes.  You can print as many copies as you want (but for one unique-named person or family only).  In this way, you can replace soiled or damaged talismans.  You can carry one talisman in your wallet and post one in your home and/or office for Feng Shui remedy.

Year of Water Tiger (ren-yin) has arrived.  Will it be good to you? 

EFFECTS OF YEAR OF WATER TIGER ON INDIVIDUALS

In terms of energy, water-tiger means strong wood energy.  Bazi astrology categories people in five energy profile groups-- metal, wood, water, fire and earth.  An individual's up and down or luck is the results of interaction between these primal energies and annual energy.  Below are luck predictions for these 5 groups of people for the year. 

Please check the appendix below if you do not know your energy profile or daymaster (DM) element.

LUCK PREDICTIONS ATTRIBUTED TO STRONG WOOD ENERGY

1.  Metal daymaster:  Wood to a metal DM are wealth, father, wife/ mistress (to male).  Strong wood energy, if favorable to the chart,  means better wealth and romance luck; if negative, means losing wealth/ father, affair, wife or girl friend being "snatched" away by close friends.

2.  Wood daymaster:  Wood to a wood DM are siblings, peers, friends, partnership, cooperation and competitions.  Strong wood energy, if favorable to the chart, means better wealth luck and cooperation; if negative, means sickness, losing wealth or wife.

3.  Water daymaster:  Wood to a water DM are talent, IQ, junior generation, subordinates, expression, showmanship, wealth source and children (to female).  Strong wood energy, if favorable to the chart,  means better artistic/ self-expression/ wealth/ mentor/ culinary luck, using one's talent to produce wealth,  if unfavorable,  it means losing husband (for female), poverty and sickness.

4.  Fire daymaster:  Wood to a fire DM are mother, senior generation, academic achievement, protection, nurturing, real estate, reputation, and document,  Strong wood energy, if favorable to the chart,  means better mentor luck, buying real estate and academic advancement; if unfavorable,  it means DM toiling with no leisure time.

The above predictions are "generic" in nature because a more accurate prediction needs to take in the consideration of other elements of individual Bazi chart. 

Now comes to more serious problems that some people may have.  If your Bazi chart has the following pillars in any position:

• Bing-shen
• Wu-shen

These 2 pillars are "fan-yin" on battling with current ren-yin year of water tiger.  These are serious clashes especially if it is your day pillar (this means YOU or your spouse get the hit!).  It will be 3x negative if your chart also contains Si-snake (forms Yin-si-shen 3-penalties).  I suggest you go get the advice of a Bazi reader or take these courses:

WHICH MONTHS ARE MORE CRITICAL?

The intense effects, whether positive or negative, in both societal and individual levels, are likely to surface within this current tiger month due to its concentration of tiger or wood energy (Feb. 4- March 5, 2022).  People with monkey Chinese zodiac animal sign should avoid travel and be extra cautious when driving during this tiger month.

The next intensive month is likely be Monkey month (August 7 to Sept. 6, 2022), the seventh month of the solar year.  This is because monkey (metal energy) clashes tiger (wood energy) in the Chinese Zodiac.  Year energy clashes with month energy. People with tiger or monkey animal sign should be cautious during travel or driving in this month of monkey.

Appendix:  How to find the daymaster of a person

1.  Go to http://bazi-calculator.com/

2.  Type in the birthday/ hour and gender (F or M) in the input table in the left side.
3.  Click "CALCULATE" box
4.  Check the left color table below the input table.  See the example here:
5.  The third color column (counting from right to left) is the day branch of the person.  It is "Geng-shen" in this example of someone born in June 24, 1990. "Geng" metal is the daymaster of this chart.  Grey color represents metal.

A Walk in the Park

Year of Pig has been here for just 10 days.  It has already brought many inches of snow to us here.  My deck has collected 17.5 inches (48 cm) of snow in last few days.  Pig or Hai is water in nature according to Chinese metaphysics.  2019 is Ji-hai earth-pig year.  There are mudslides in certain parts of the world recently.

Today is very warm at 30F or -1C,  I decide to take a walk in the park near my house after hibernating in the house during last week's snowstorm.

Time to move your Feng Shui monsters and fixes

Although the Chinese Lunar New Year won't come until Feb. 8 for this year, new Feng Shui year officially starts today (Feb. 4, Li-Chun or Spring begins).  Now is the time to move your Feng Shui monsters like ki-lin (move to south to fix San-sha or 3-killings), 5-yellow metal fix (move to NE) and other remedies.

If you do not have a ki-lin or cannot afford one, you can print out the ki-lin picture here.

The picture below is a rare Chinese New Year poster from a few hundred years ago.  It has accumulated tons of mass consciousness about wealth and celebrations.  You may print it out and put it in SW (annual wealth star location) for good luck.

Minimal Feng Shui Guide for the Year of Rabbit (2011)

The annual chart for 2011 is: (top is south, bottom is north)

Annual chart is based on Purple White Method which holds that 1,6, and 9 star locations are auspicious. 2-black sickness and 5-yellow disaster star locations are inauspicious.

OTHER PRECAUTIONS:

Grand Duke is at Mao mountain or E2-- avoid construction or digging.

Sui Po or year-breaker is at You mountain or W2-- avoid construction or digging.

San Sha or 3-killings are at Shen, You and Xu mountains or SW3, W2, NW1-- avoid construction or digging.

5-yellow disaster star at Zhen palace (E)- avoid construction or digging and movements. Grand Duke sits in Zhen palace with 5-yellow-- definitely be very careful when you do constructions and movement here (and avoid going East!)! Also if your house is facing Mao mountain (E2), you may want to put a Grand Duke Talisman there for protection (see my next upcoming message on how to get one).

5-tiger sha at Xu, Hai and Qian mountains or NW1, NW3, NW2-- avoid construction or digging and movements.

Yang nobleman sign for this year is Yin (tiger).  Yin nobleman is Wu (horse).

You need to do a good date-selection if you need to do construction in any of the above locations (mountains/ palace) or better doing it before end of the current year (tiger year).

If your front door is in Mao mountain where Grand Duke resides, you get a major problem with the normal metal fix for the annual 5-yellow star there (metal and wood battling).  Hire a competent Feng Shui practitioner to fix it for you.

People with rooster and rabbit zodiac sign should avoid seeing putting corpse in coffin or burial for this year.
