Feng Shui: Big tree in front of main door

"Big tree" here means trees with a 12 inches/ 25 cm or larger diameter trunk.

Some city governments, like Toronto in Canada, specifies home builders to plant a tree in front of the main door of each new house. After 10 years or so, these small trees become big trees with serious Feng Shui implications.

Below are some notes taken from "Advanced Visual Form Feng Shui" manual:

1. A tree in front of the main door is called "heart piercing sha" or "tree god blocks road" is very bad Feng Shui. It stands for blockage in life and illness like liver problems.

2. If there is a tree in the left side of the main door, it is called "green dragon tree". It stands for protection, nurturing and male helpful people/ mentors.

3. If there is a tree in the right side of the main door without a corresponding sized tree in the left side, it is called "white tiger tree". It stands for dominant women in the house, negative peach-blossom (mistress) or unwelcome female guests.

4. Tree located in front of main door resonates with residents inside the house. If branches has problem, someone inside the house will have hand or tendon problem. If the tree trunk has problem, resident’s body may have corresponding problem. If the trunk is drilled a hole, someone in the house will have surgery or bleeding ulcer.

5. Seeing willow trees in front of main door— residents are likely to have mental problems.

6. Dying trees in front of main door—stands for blood related sickness, especially bleeding ulcer.

7. Trees near windows should not have branches growing into or touching the windows-- this may cause eye problems to the residents.

8. Tree touching the roof of a house-- moving-in guests do not want to leave.

Characteristics of Inauspicious or Haunted House

A house is inauspicious or haunted if it has the following characteristics:

There are two or more deaths or severe injuries in the family within 3 years of moving-in.-- House like this usually has "sha-qi" (negative energy) like T-junction, sickle-cutting sha, heart-piercing sha or "white-tiger sha". These negative energies cause bloody events, backstabbing and disharmony .
After moving in, family members have chronic headache, fevers or diarrhea.
Family members suffer frequent misfortunes and bad lucks after moving in.
Family members suddenly turn against each other after moving in.
After moving in, family members suffer insomnia or dreaming of ghosts.
Pets like cat and dog refuse to enter the new house or certain part of the house.
Baby or toddler cries when entering the new house, especially at the evenings
Barely perceptible smell of rotten material or foul smell (but cannot find the source)
Small animals clashing into the house and died (excluding moths)
Feeling chill inside the house even in summer.
Family altar tablets (of ancestors or deity) fell down or cracked

Move away if this is your house. The problem is that if you live in a house with these conditions, you are likely in a bad luck period and may end up in a much worse house. Hence you should hire a Feng Shui practitioner with a proven track record to help you find another house.

If for any reason that you cannot move, as long as your problem is not due to #1 above, find a priest of your preferred religion and do a cleansing and blessing of your house (and hope the problems go away).

More reasons why your house does not accumulate wealth

I have written on this topic a few weeks ago and here are some more reasons that a house does not accumulate wealth for its residents (all pictures are taken from "Advanced Visual Form Feng Shui" video course):

1. Seeing backdoor from the front door location: Energy, including wealth qi, is leaking through the backdoor. This situation is also called "heart-piercing sha" in Form Feng Shui.

2. Missing dragon side: There is no house or "dragon" in the left side of your house. Dragon means "helpful people/mentor". This could also mean there is a big missing corner in the left side of your house or the left side is much lower than the right side.

3. Houses at the dragon (left) and tiger (right side) of are much higher (2 storeys+) than your own house.

4. There is no back support like another building or mountain for your house. This means the residents lacks courage to take risks, lacks support and problem accumulating wealth.
