Auspicious moving dates for 2016

Choosing a good date to move your your home, office or business can enhance the good Feng Shui of your new location or mitigate bad Feng Shui effects. The following dates are auspicious days for moving in 2016.  The "clashing (animal)" in the list means that day is not suitable for people with that Chinese zodiac animal sign.

Chinese numerology: 201314 爱你一生一世

Today is January 4, 2013 or 201314 for short.  The number "201314"  sounds like literally "Love (2) you (0) this (1) lifetime (3) and (1) generation (4)" in Chinese (爱你一生一世).  This romantic implication has created long lines in the marriage registration bureaus in China.  Would-be couples want to get their marriage licenses today for this auspicious meaning.

What can you do if you have missed this good date for marriage registration?  Don't worry, you have almost a year to do it because 2013 is still around.  Besides, 201314 is not the best number because "4" also sounds like "dead" in Chinese.  It can also be read as "love (2) you (0) one (1) survives (3) one (1) dies (4) (爱你一生一死)

Pick a day that means ever-lasting love or pure love OR a day with both love and wealth (if you want your love last longer).  However, you need to donate some money to charity to activate an auspicious date.  You give something out in order to get something back.  This is a simple universal rule of energy exchange.

More bang for your charity dollars or work

In last February I had written about the "8 monthly auspicious days" for doing charity to maximize your "karma credit" in every month.

Well, I know at least one person follows the advice. She writes:

"Thank you because we have been doing volunteer works and charity donations on the eight auspicious days you gave in last february. It works!!!! I feel better. I am in a better mood too. A very good friend of mine are doing it too. It´s fun, and we feel good doing it!!! Can we invite more people to do it? Is it not bad energy for us to share this knowledge? It´s good because the people we know can also enjoy sharing and feel good, right?"

Yes, you will get more blessing for sharing this knowledge, not to mention the extra bonuses of getting more karma credits. Karma credits can enhance your personal qi (energy) to fend off bad energies (bad luck) and attract positive energies.

Here I repost part of that February message with updated dates for you to do your good deeds.

EIGHT MONTHLY AUSPICIOUS DAYS

According to Buddhism, every lunar month has eight auspicious days that you can take advantage of to enhance your good karma “credits”. When you do “good” or “bad” deed in these days, the karma points (good or bad) will be multiplied numerous times according to following formula.

First day of the lunar month
100 times karma credit: Ding-Huang Buddha day 定王佛日
--examples, 3/8, 4/6, 5/5 (dates for year 2008 only)

8th day of the lunar month

This is an ingenious system—people are motivated to do good deeds or at least, avoid doing bad behaviors during these 8 auspicious days. You may notice that the end of the lunar month has the highest karma credit ratio of 900 Million— huge incentive for people to donate money, so that temples can pay for the routine end of the month expenses.

Well, today is the 15th day of the lunar month with 1 million times karma credit for good (and bad) deeds. It is not too late for you to take advantage of it--- use your Paypal account or credit card to donate money to charity or simply go vegetarian for the day or just chant a little bit for world peace.

You definitely don’t want to beat up your wife or cheat the old lady next door today – it will cost you 1 million bad karma points.
