Ken's List of Wife-Jinxing Bazi 命理克妻断

Ladies! Today is your lucky day!  Before you dive into a relationship or marriage, check the following list to make sure your potential lover does not jinx you to death.

Check the birthday Bazi chart of your potential mate to see if his chart hits one or more of the followings:

  1. Natal chart and 10-year-lucks have no wealth star:  this is likely the destiny of a monk or a man with no wife.
  2. Chart has "pure yin" or "pure-yang" pillars likely jinxes wife.
  3. Wife star (wealth or "cai" star) is in void:  wife is prone to premature death or this man remains single throughout his life.
  4. Wife star is clashed or combined away:  is prone to physical or death separation with wife.
  5. Strong male daymaster has a wife star not sitting in spouse palace, is clashed:  is prone to jinxing wife.
  6. Weak male daymaster with both + and -wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai):  he is likely a disloyal husband with lots of material and sexual desire.
  7. Chart with both wealth and power star in void:  this man is likely jinxing wife during his middle age.
  8. Chart with multiple storage elements (chen, xu, chou and wei):  is prone to jinxing wife.
  9. Chart has weak wife star with strong and multiple + and -peer (jie-cai/ bi-jian) stars:  is prone to jinxing wife.
  10. Chart with yang-knife (jie-cai) star sitting in spouse palace (day-branch) and combines with another branch:  wife is chronically sick.
  11. Spouse palace does not have a yang-knife but combines with a yang-knife in another branch:  wife is chronically sick.
  12. Chart has  -power (qi-sha) with -resource (pian-yin) and yang-knife (jie-cai) stars:  this man is likely jinxing wife during his middle age.
  13. Chart with wife star (wealth or "cai") entombed:  wife is incapable or lacking luck or died prematurely.
  14. Chart with year and hour pillar exchanging void branch (i.e., each has the void branch of the other pillar):  is prone to jinxing wife or no wife.
  15. Chart with hour and day pillar exchanging void branch:  is prone to jinxing wife or no wife.

The more a chart hits the above list, the higher the "wife jinxing power".

"Jinxing" here does not mean this man jinxing his wife to death but it is the destiny of this woman.  It is not his fault.  His qi or energy field tends to attract partner who is destined for a less fortunate life.

"Ken, is there any remedy for the above?"

There may be some methods to handle this problem.  Please check my upcoming course:

"Luck Enhancement and Misfortune Mitigation with Visual Bazi and Feng Shui".

If you are one of the "positive thinking" people, you may capitalize this "spouse jinxing power" through purchasing spousal life insurance.  This is like turning lemon into lemonade.  But whether you can keep this less than fortunate money is another question.  The answer may be found in:

Que Sera Sera-- "Will my future spouse be handsome or pretty?"

You may have heard this Doris Day's song-- Que Sera Sera:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZbKHDPPrrc

Most of us probably have asked similar questions-- "Will I be handsome or pretty?"

Then more than likely, we want to know if our future spouse is handsome or pretty.

Today is your lucky day-- based on my 4-pillars readings in the past, I have found that you can predict the physical appearance of your future spouse by checking the day pillar of your own birthday or Bazi birth chart.

Don't worry if you do not understand the terminology here.  You can simply read the appendix below to check if you have the potential of getting a pretty or handsome spouse.

SPOUSE PALACE AND THE APPEARANCE OF YOUR SPOUSE
The lower part or "branch" of the day pillar of your natal chart is the "spouse palace".  It stores information about your spouse.  For the appearance of your future spouse, we check the branch element which is also can be read as animal sign.

I.  4-cardinal elements:  If your day branch (spouse palace) has one of the followings:
  • Zi (rat)
  • Wu (horse)
  • Mao (rabbit)
  • You (rooster)
Your spouse is likely handsome or pretty or at the least, has a pleasant personality.  Zi, Wu, Mao and You are called "4-peach blossoms".  It stands for sentimentality, elegance, pleasing appearance and social popularity.  If a chart has more than 2 of these 4 elements, the chart owner likely has magnetic personality, physically attractive and many romantic admirers.

II.  4-sub-cardinal elements: If your day branch has one of the followings:
  • Yin (tiger)
  • Shen (monkey)
  • Si (snake)
  • Hai (pig)

Your spouse is likely "average looking" and intelligent.  Yin, Shen, Si and Hai are called "4-sub-cardinal elements".  If a chart has more than 2 of these 4 elements, the chart owner is very active and cannot sit still.

III.  4-storage elements:  If your day branch (spouse palace) has one of the followings:
  • Chen (dragon)
  • Xu ( dog)
  • Chou ( ox)
  • Wei (ram)

Your spouse is likely not physically attractive, but s/he is honest and kind.  Chen, Xu Chou and Wei are called "4-storages or tombs" and are earth in nature.  If a chart has more than 2 of these 4 elements, the chart owner is likely not too active and slow in action.  But s/he is likely to hoard things or not willing to throw things away.  S/he is also good at saving money.

APPENDIX: how to find your day-pillar
1.  Log into http://bazi-calculator.com/
2.  Type in your birthday
3.  Click "Calculate" button
4.  Check the "Day" column of the table in the left side
5.  This example column here shows "Chen" (dragon) in the day branch or spouse palace in the day-pillar.

Another Approach to Self-penalties

Previous post derives self-penalties by matching branch 3-unities (San-he) to 3-meetings (San-hui).  This post uses branch groups to locate self-penalties.

Classic Bazi segregates 12 branch elements into 3 groups:

4 cardinal or peach-blossom elements
--  zi, wu, mao and you
4 sub-cardinal or traveling horses elements
--  yin, shen, si and hai
4 storage or tomb elements
--  chen, xu, chou and wei

From the above, we have 3-penalties
  1. zi-mao penalty
  2. yin-shen-si 3-penalties
  3. xu-chou-wei 3-penalties

The branch elements that are missing in these 3-penalties actions become self-penalty when running into identical element.

Self-Penalties:
  • Chen-chen
  • You-you
  • Wu-wu
  • Hai-hai

Don't overlook the destructive power and influence of self-penalty.  It could be as serious as other penalties.  Out of the 4 self-penalties, wu, you and hai self-penalties are most serious because:

  • Wu-fire is the yang-knife (羊刃) of bing-fire
  • You-metal  is the yang-knife of geng-metal
  • Hai-water is the yang-knife of gui-water

Self-penalty becomes serious matter when the corresponding stem showing up in the stem level, especially if the stem is also the daymaster (DM).

Self-penalty could mean:
  • self-inflicted pain/ injury
  • self-sabotage
  • addiction
  • depression
  • worrisome
  • meddlesome
  • petty
  • cannot let go of trivial matters

Bazi: Will and When you buy a house?

Many people ask me when they will purchase a house as if I can see their future bank balances.

Believe it or not, your Bazi natal chart can tell you about your probability of owning properties and when will that happen.

Below are the Bazi characteristics of people who will eventually own properties:

Chart with power star (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) nurturing resource star (zheng-yin/ pian-yin)
-- Power star represents power, status, career and living standard.  Resource star represents reputation and resources.  People with charts that have power star nurturing resource star usually achieve their house ownership from their work/ career directly or indirectly.  When they run into power luck period nurturing resource star is the time when property is purchased.

Chart with resource star sitting in month branch
-- In Bazi, resource stars represent house/ property, senior generation, cars, mentor (helpful people or "nobleman").  Chart owner ("daymaster" or DM) with resource star at the month branch is almost like to be "born with a house".  DM is likely to inherit a house or his/ her parents have already bought him/ her a house.  If not, s/he is likely to purchase a house at early age easily.  The house is likely bought when DM runs into resource or peer luck period.

Chart with 4-storages clashed
-- Chen, xu, chou and wei are the "4-storages" in Bazi.  It is earth in nature.  House is categorized under earth element in Bazi.  Charts with any of the 4-storages have a higher probability of owning a house.  DM is likely to purchase a property when the storage element in his/ her chart is "clashed" by a luck period.

Chart with wealth star (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) controlling resource star (zheng-yin/ pian-yin)
-- Resource star stands for real estate and wealth star for money.  Chart with wealth star controlling resource star means DM plans ahead to purchase a property but could not materialize due to various reasons.  DM will purchase a house when s/he DM running into wealth luck period or luck that enhances wealth star.  This could also happen when DM runs into a "nobleman" or unexpected income.

Chart with output (shang-guan/ shi-shen) nurturing wealth star (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) but no power star
-- Output star stands hardworking, consumption and using their talent to create wealth.  DM works hard to purchase his/ her own property.  S/he will purchase property when runs into peer and wealth luck periods.

Chart with power star (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) controlling peer star (bi-jian/ jie-cai)
-- Power star represents pressure, career and business.  Peer star represents competition and friends who take DM's resources.  DM will likely purchase property when running into power luck period when peer star is under control.

Above are some major Bazi characteristics of people who purchase properties.  However, you also need to consider other elements in the Bazi chart to determine if one will purchase a property and when it will happen.  This may help people to check when they will buy their dream house.  This info should be very helpful for real estate agents to budget their time for potential buyers instead of tire-kickers.

Secrets of "4-cardinals", "4-storages" and "4-births"

When a Bazi or 4P reader looks at a natal chart, by checking the number of  "4-cardinals, 4-births and 4-storages elements", s/he could give a long talk on the personalities and characteristics of the  client in a flash.  The client may feel this reader is a "living deity" (Chinese slang for a good fortune-teller).

Keep reading if you want to know this "secret".

These 3 groups of "4-xxxxx" elements are just different configurations of 12 branches with special properties.

12-branches sometimes are also represented by 12 Chinese zodiac animals:
zi-rat, chou-ox, yin-tiger, mao-rabbit, chen-dragon, si-snake, wu-horse, wei-ram, shen-monkey, you-rooster, xu-dog and hai-pig.

12-branches are separated into three configurations:

1.  Zi-wu-mao-you 子午卯酉 : 4-cardinals 四正
Zi-water, wu-fire, mao-wood and you-metal are called "4-cardinals" because they are located in the right angled locations (90, 180, 270 and 360 degrees) in a map.  Compared with other branches, 4-cardinals are purer energies and hence stronger.  Zi-wu-mao-you are also called "peach-blossom" elements.  People's natal charts with more of these cardinal elements are usually attractive and emotional in love.  They also like to be leaders and extreme thinkers.  A natal chart with Zi-wu-mao-you together could be an emperor (like the chart of Qing Dynasty's Qian-Long emperor) or a beggar or famous prostitute (if woman).  A chart with Zi-wu-mao-you filled up by luck period/s should be wary of serious accident or illness because zi-wu and mao-you clashes are clashes of strong and pure energies, not to mention zi-mao is also a serious penalty.

2.  Yin-shen-si-hai 寅申巳亥 : 4-births 长生
Yin-wood, shen-metal, si-fire and hai-water are called "4-births" or "sub-cardinals" because they are the "birth place" of wood, metal, fire and water and also located in the 4- corners in a map.  People's natal charts with more of these birth elements are usually active and creative.  DM with more than 2 of these birth elements cannot sit down for too long.  4-births are also called "traveling horse" elements, meaning frequent moves and traveling.  People with numerous birth elements are prone to traffic accidents and falling injuries because this configuration is easy running into yin-shen/ si-hai clashes and yin-si-shen 3-penalties.

3.  Chen-xu-chou-wei 辰戌丑未: 4-storages
Chen-xu-chou-wei are called 4-storages or tombs.  4-storages stand for wealth storage.  It also stands for DM's tomb during old age.  Chen is wet yang earth and water storage or tomb.  Xu is hot yang earth and fire storage or tomb.  Chou is wet yin earth and metal storage or tomb.  Wei is dried earth and wood storage or tomb. People's natal charts with more of these storage elements can accumulate wealth.  They also will not throw anything away.  They tend to be introvert, inactive and keep their emotions inside.  People with numerous storage elements can easily run into chou-xu-wei 3-penalties.  But it is not as serious as other 3-penalties.

You may go to bazi-calculator.com, key in your birthday and check how many of these 4-xxxxx elements that you have.

Garbage can location affects your luck

In Feng Shui, every major direction represents a member of the family.  Please check the following diagram taken from my "Practical Door Feng Shui for Wealth" course manual:

Garage can holds wastes and emits negative qi or energy. The location where you put your garbage can will have serious consequence for the family member represented by that location.  For example, if the garbage can is put in NW location, the oldest male (usually the father, the major breadwinner) may suffer bad luck like tarnished reputation, demotion, business or career failure and the like.  Same problems for the mother of the house if the garbage can is put in SW location.

In business, if the garbage can is in the NW location, the owner will not be respected by the subordinates and likely to fail.  NW or Qian location represents the head or owner of a business or office.

I know you may have a problem because every direction represents the location for a family member-- you may not want to "sacrifice" anyone by putting the garbage can in that location.

Today is your lucky day-- below is the top Feng Shui secret of where to put your garbage can without hurting anyone.

In Feng Shui and 4-Pillars, Chen (dragon), Xu (dog), Chou (ox) and Wei (ram) locations or mountains are called "tombs " or "storages 仓库".  These are the locations to put your garbage can without turning your family member into "garbage".
Green arrows point to "storage" locations

WHERE TO PUT GARBAGE CAN

How to find the 4-storages sectors?

1.  Draw a proportional floorplan of your house and put a protractor over the center of the plan.
2.  Mark the degrees around the floorplan.
3.  Locate the directions below:
  • Chen mountain (SE1): 112.5- 127.5 degree
  • Xu mountain (NW1): 292.5- 307.5 degree
  • Chou mountain (NE1): 22.5- 27.5 degree
  • Wei mountain (SW1): 202.5- 217.5 degree

In Feng Shui, negative energy will have minimal effect when you cannot see and smell it.  Hence, keeping the small waste baskets inside your house or business clean/ covered (if there is organic waste) and inconspicuous is OK too.

Tomb-storage or tomb AND storage?

In general 4-pillars texts, chen, xu, chou and wei are called "tomb-storages".  They are derived from the San-He formula (the 12 life-stages):
1. hai-mao-wei: wei is the tomb for wood
2. yin-wu-xu: xu is the tomb for fire
3. shen-zi-chen:  chen is the tomb for water
4. si-you-chou: chou is the tomb for metal

This only explains the "tomb" part of the tomb-storage term.  Where does the "storage" come from?

Chen-xu-chou- wei are also called "4 storages".  We use it to check if a person can hold on to his wealth or as the capacity to learn metaphysics.

If you check the formula for 3-meeting (San Hui) formula:
1. yin-mao-chen is wood-3-meeting:  Here chen functions as the storage of wood
2. si-wu-wei is fire-3-meeting: wei functions as the storage of fire
hai-zi-chou is water-3-meeting:  chou functions as the storage of water
shen-you-xu is metal-3-meeting: xu functions as storage of metal

Merging the two above, you can see:
1. Chen is the storage of wood and tomb for water
2. Wei is the storage of fire and tomb for wood
3. Xu is the storage for metal and tomb for fire
4. Chou is the storage for water and tomb for metal

Chen and wei are both the storage of wood. But chen's energy is based on 3-meeting which is much greater than wei's wood-3-unity.

In 4P texts, there are vague statements about the clashing of chen-xu-chou-wei as "auspicious" or "good for wealth". But there are also statements of "doom" when the 4-storages are clashed.

When is good to clash or when is bad to clash the tomb/storage? It all comes back to ..... (check 4P Bootcamp discussion list).

It can easily take 4 hours to a whole day to discuss chen-xu-chou-wei.
