When will one get married? 婚缘何时到

When your Bazi chart runs into any one or more of the following scenarios, one will have a high probability of getting hitched or married:

1. When annual luck clashing your spouse palace (day-branch)
2. When annual luck combining with your spouse palace (day-branch)
3. When annual luck combining two of your chart branches to form 3-unities combination (San-he)
4. When annual luck stem combining with your day stem
5. When annual luck bringing a wealth star (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) for male or a power star (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) for female
6. When annual luck is your "peach-blossom" star  (you for shen, zi and chen day/ year branch;  wu for si, you and chou day/ year;  mao for yin, wu and xu day/ year; zi for hai, mao and wei)

While any one of the above could get you married, but for people with "difficult to marry" Bazi charts may need to fulfill two or more of the above conditions to get into the marriage chapel.

"Ken, what should I do if I have already married?"

You better reserve a high power divorce attorney OR be a good little boy/ girl and avoid interactions with opposite sex for the year.

If #1 to 5 of the above showing up in your spouse's chart--- you better keep an eye on his/ her whereabouts and activities during that luck period.

Chinglish: Feng Shui Edition

According to Wikipedia, "Chinglish refers to spoken or written English language that is influenced by the Chinese language."  This article is about a Feng Shui master in People's Republic of China who tries to show off his English or Chinglish.
I have stumbled onto a Chinese website advertisement for Feng Shui service in both Chinese and English from China.  It is very rare to see bilingual Feng Shui advertisement from China.  Below is his English sales pitch verbatim.

"Personal fortune predictions consultation (geomancy) feng shui, new rural construction, urban renewal, garden construction, health base, nursing homes, feng shui gas field, set the mansion, the mansion restoration, selected Amityville Horror, Amityville Horror repair, rehabilitation including detailed grant horoscopes, fortune, the cause of transportation, wedding transportation, school transportation, named renamed, check boy life, and chose, Health Wang position, defends the net house, open the treasury, treasury up further past debt, but also debt overcast, kind of raw base, dark drive problems and misfortunes, infant spirit no longer deal with his mother and other ceremonies tired brain, as well as other aspects of feng shui, the main edge if necessary, please make an appointment in advance with the assistant, the assistant will arrange a time the main edge, Wan Ling Road long, paid service, understand . (No chat)"

It is pretty obvious the writer uses a "Chinese to English" dictionary to translate the Chinese word for word.  Below are some major Chinglish translations:

• feng shui gas field = Feng Shui qi (energy) field
• Amityville Horror = yin residence (tomb)
• transportation =  luck trend
• tired brain = bothering
• main edge = client
• Wang Ling Road Long = Daoist Master Wang Ling

Well, as a native Chinese reader myself, I still have problem reading his Chinese version because some contents were garbled up due to translation from different file formats.  The text in blue is my "reconstruction" based on his Chinglish version.

個人運程預測諮詢，(堪輿)風水、新農村建設、城市改建、園林建設、養生基地、養老院、風水氣場、定陽宅、陽宅修復、選定陰宅、陰宅修復、包括詳批八字、運程、婚姻運程、學業運程、改名、 小兒命名、選生旺位、 鎮宅、開財庫、補財庫、還前世債、還陰債、種生基、驅晦消災、處理嬰靈不再煩腦母親等法事，以及風水有關等方面的問題，緣主若需要請提前與助理預約，助理會給緣主安排時間, 萬靈道長，有償服務，請予理解。(不聊天)

Below is my translation based on the Chinese version:

"Personal consultation on Feng Shui (geomancy), new rural construction, urban remodeling, garden/yard construction, convalescent home, senior home, Feng Shui qi-field, yang residence selection, yang residence remodeling, yin residence (tomb) selection;  service also includes detailed Bazi reading, luck period reading, marital luck, academic luck, naming/ renaming, wealth luck, naming babies, choosing vital and prosperous positions, securing/ defending residence (from negative energies), opening "wealth storage", replenishing "wealth storage", repaying debt from previous lifetimes, repaying yin debt, cultivating"sheng-ji" (stimulated tomb to collect auspicious energy for the living), expelling bad vibes and neutralizing disasters, rituals to stop aborted baby-spirits from bothering their mother; all Feng Shui related problems.  Prospective clients should make appointment with my assistant.  Please be advised that these are paid service (no leisure chat). Daoist Master Wan Ling."

Master Wan Ling seems to be able to do everything-- Feng Shui, Bazi, naming, paying karma debts, refilling wealth storage, neutralizing disasters to getting rid of annoying baby souls..... and also writing Chinglish.

Peach Blossom or Negative Romance

Note:  The follow excerpt is taken from the chapter "Peach Blossom or Negative Romance" in "4-Pillars Bootcamp" video correspondence course.

Peach blossom stars normally have negative connotation in 4P.  There are two major characteristics of peach blossom stars:

*    It is associated with sexual desire and alcohol

*    It is associated with indiscriminate spending

PEACH BLOSSOM STAR

The meaning of peach blossom star is identical to the “bath” stage of the “12 life stages” in Chinese metaphysics.  The second stage of luck of “12 life stages” is “bath”.  The original meaning of “bath” is that after day-master (DM, the principal of a birth chart) was born, s/he needs to take a bath everyday.  When one baths, s/he needs to undress.  So the meaning of “bath” is extended to mean “peach blossom”.  It has the connotation of being lustful.  But nowadays peach blossom also means positive or negative romance luck.

How to locate peach blossom in a 4P chart

To find if a DM has peach blossom, we use DM’s animal sign or year branch to check against the following table:

Year branch: Animal sign:	Hai/ mao/ wei Pig/ rabbit/ goat	Yin/ wu/ xu Tiger/ horse/ dog	Si/ you/ chou Snake/ rooster/ ox	Shen/ zi/ chen Monkey/ rat/ dragon
Peach blossom (branch of Month/ day/ hour)	Zi Rat	Mao Rabbit	Wu Horse	You Rooster

Month branch peach blossom is the strongest.  Please note that the idea of peach blossom star is just for reference.  It does not necessarily mean a person with peach blossom star will be lustful and wasteful.  Similarly, a person without peach blossom star can also be a lustful person.  We should check peach blossom with other stars within a chart before making any judgment.  Modern interpretation of peach blossom includes "sociability" or being popular among people.

Male peach blossom star

In terms of 4P, wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) are considered the main peach blossom star and output star (shi-shen/ shang-guan) as the source of peach blossom. 

Wealth star is the “wife star” for male and can also be seen as “star of desire”.  Output star produces wealth star, so output star can be seen as “desire promoter”.

When output stars are strong with wealth star combines with other star, day-master's probability of running into romance or affair will be high.

So, you may ask, between wealth star and peach blossom star, which one is more powerful in bringing romance to a DM? 

A wealth star without clashes or damages is more powerful, even if he has no peach blossom star in his chart.

Normally or morally speaking, peach blossom is negative when DM is married and acceptable or even positive if DM is unmarried. 

The following are basic rules to make prediction about male peach blossom:

*        When DM’s chart has output stars (shi-shen/ shang-guan) and wealth stars (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) and runs into output and wealth luck pillar, he is likely running into peach blossom (romance or affair).

*       Male 4P chart with too much fire and parched earth but little or no water to cool down, its DM is likely running into peach blossom (romance or affair).

*       DM is surrounded by wealth stars (any wealth star) and the chart also has output stars, DM is likely running into peach blossom (romance or affair).

*       When a male 4P chart has two or more wealth stars combine with DM or day pillar, and the chart also has output stars, DM is likely running into peach blossom (romance or affair).
