"I can't burn my mama!"

I was in Mexico City teaching "4-Pillars Bootcamp" last weekend.

Owning to the summer tourist season, the only hotel room that I can get is located at San Sha (3-killings) and 5-yellow disaster direction!

The first two nights I had dreams of long-deceased relatives and a grad-school classmate. I rarely dreamed of deceased people and let alone dreaming of them 2 nights in a row.

The third night, before going to bed, I saw a 5-inches big black moth on the window edge.

Chinese believe that their deceased relatives, especially the newly deceased, come back in the form of flying insects like butterflies and moths, to visit their love ones.

I was worried if anything happened to my own family members due to the dreams about dead people and especially this mysterious appearance of a black moth.

I have called my relatives in the states and Hong Kong. They are all safe and sound.

So I have called a Mexican friend about the symbolic meaning of black moth to them.

"Black moth or butterfly flying into your house means bad luck or even the death of a family member. We normally catch and burn it to avoid bad luck." My amigo said.

"I can't burn my mama! The black moth could be her visiting me-- though it is a long flight for her to fly from Hong Kong to Mexico City!" Said I.

To prevent some worrisome amigos from burning this black moth, I have captured it with a plastic bag and release it outside the hotel.

The next day, which happened to be the second day of the "4P Boot-camp" seminar, something unexpected happened.

At the end of the day, a new student come into the class! This is very unusual for someone to join a class when 66% of the class was already done. It can also be the good work of Monica, my local organizer.

This "unexpected income" means 10 tanks of gas for my car!

The following evening, I found the same black moth on my door edge! This became very freaky to me. Is this really my deceased mother visiting me? I must have been a bad boy lately.

Anyway, to avoid the black moth being killed, I telepathically told it, "Hi amigo! Go away if you don't want to be a roasted moth!" Then I have used a stick to drive it away. It has disappeared ever since.

To my Mexican amigas and amigos who are reading this, I cannot guarantee you getting 10 tanks of gas when you set free a black moth or butterfly. But letting the "bad luck" or butterfly/ moth fly away is much better than burning the "bad luck" in your house!

It is bad karma to kill any living being, especially those who do no harm to you. On the other hand, one kind deed can potentially mean the difference between going to heaven or hell! There are stories in Buddhist literature about some people who had escaped hell due to one simple random act of kindness to a small animal or insect.

Adiós!

White Tigers in Form Feng Shui

I was in Mexico City teaching "Practical Date-selection Methods" two weeks ago.

While I was there, my Mexican colleagues took me along to their audit of the corporate headquarters of a major Mexican corporation.

The company has just moved to this new campus for a few months. Problems and lawsuits among long-time partners have surfaced.

The campus has 3 buildings on an area of 300 x200 meters with manicured gardens, fountains and waterfalls. Local TV stations come here often to film their soap-operas.

The building on the right side (tiger side) is the office building with the management and sales stuff housed. The building is zip-zap shaped like a staircase. It is the form for argument and hot temper.

The building on the left side (dragon side) is rectangular in shape. It is used as R&D and warehouse.

The building in the middle is a small building for canteen.

We walked to a certain direction of the office building and saw a pond there.

"Who sits in the office closed to this pond". I asked.

"Me." Answered the youngest son of the owner.

"This pond is called 'white tiger sees mirror'. It will affect the person closed to it. The effects are surgery, accident or sudden death."

I then told him when the events will likely to happen and how to avoid it.

My Mexican colleagues had just did an audit of a multi-millionaire's home. That home has a swimming pool located at "white tiger sees mirror" location. The owner has two sons died of a plane crash.

In Form Feng Shui, there are two other "white tigers" that are also very inauspicious, but not as worse as "white tiger sees mirror." They are:

"White tiger opens mouth"-- this has something to do with the garage door of your neighbor. It affects woman of the house mostly. It causes problem to conceive or miscarriage.

"White tiger exposes bone"-- this has something to do with landscaping rocks in your garden. It affect the woman of the house mostly, causing surgery of the uterus or reproductive organ.

These white tiger stuff are amazingly accurate without using luopan or calculations. They are taught in my "Advanced Form Feng Shui" and "Sha Avoidance Feng Shui" class.

"Don't drink the water" (but drink the beer)

Note: the following blog was written on Nov. 12, 2005

Before I went to Mexico, everyone told me, "Don't
drink the water!"

Well, I found Mexican beer tasting better and with 50%
more alcohol content than American beer. So drinking
2 cans of MX beer is as good as drinking 3 cans of US
beer-- less trips to bathroom.

If you don't drink beer, no problem-- there are 3- 4
Starbucks Coffee shops within every mile of Mexico City.
But it is more expensive than Mexican beer.

I've also drank Mexican water and am still alive and
whining-- I made sure the water is boiled.

My MX sponsors Bruno Koppel had offered to translate
my "4P Bootcamp" manual into Spanish.

Poor Bruno did not know what he is getting into.

He did not know my manual is much thicker than the
average 4P manuals.

His wife, Monica, almost killed me when I meet her in
Mexico City.

Bruno had not touched her for many weeks, working days
and nights to translate my manual.

Thanks to Bruno's hard work, now I have a Spanish
version of "4P Bootcamp" manual that is close to 300 pages.

It is a pity to use it only once if I uphold my vow of
teaching "4P Bootcamp" only once in each country.

So from now on I'll teach the bootcamp class as many
times as people want me to-- in Spanish or English.

Similar to other metaphysics classes in other
countries, most of the Mexican students are females
(now you know why suddenly we have some young men want
to be FS or 4P teachers). But I found MX students are
more active learners. They ask more questions to keep
me awake.

I like Mexican beer and real taco so much that I will
go back there again within a month.

To thank Bruno for his hard work, I'll throw in "60
Binomial Personalities" as bonus materials for "Applied 4P:
Wealth and Health" seminar, also will be hosted by Bruno in
MX at end of this month.

If Bruno buys me enough beer and tacos, I may throw in
"60 Binomials health table" for the class. This table
predicts potential health problems based on day-master
and birth hour.

Well, I may see you in Wroclaw (Poland) next week.

Talismanes Daoístas vs. World Cup Soccer

Note: The original blog was written on June 14, 2006

My "Daoist Talisman for FS and Blessing" class was held in Mexico City last weekend. The date has
clashed the Mexican National Soccer Team's World Cup appearance in Munich.

Soccer is the national religion of Mexico, even their on-going presidential election has to avoid clashing
these soccer match dates.

Then I've some "concerned" or "worry-some" individuals on different lists expressing some "nice" and "not so
nice" comments about me and the class.

I thank all of these concerned people--- my class is a sold out and have to add another class in September or
October.

To alleviate the fear sown intentionally or unintentionally by some "concerned" individuals, I've
taught the class two non-Daoist techniques of cleansing and securing a building and also setting up
protection shield for the practitioner. These techniques are also applicable for FS audits.

We have done a class meditation. Two psychics in the class can "see" Daoist and Buddhist deities in the
classroom filled with golden light.

But this class is not about religion or focus on just one religion. It is more than just doodling. It is
about building up strong will-power, sincerity, good intention and living a righteous life-- if you want
your talismans to be powerful.

I've stressed that Daoist talisman is only ONE of the ways to draw talismans and there are over 5+ different
Daoist schools that have different ways of drawing. If anyone claims his way is the best way or only way
to draw, the person is a nut.

In fact, there are more similarities than differences when comparing Eastern and Western ways of drawing
talisman. Both involving pretty much the same processes... purification of materials, meditate,
invocation of deities or natural power, charging or empowering.....

Students are required to design and draw a talisman to get the class certificate.

Even to my surprise, this class has generated the most laughs compare to ALL of my classes. It is rare to
see a class laughs at least one third of the time.

But I guess just the Feng Shui section on how to handle Grand Duke alone worths the price of the
course.

The next Talisman class will be in Mexico City again (in English and Spanish) and then in Poland (Wroclaw,
in English and Polish).

Talisman story

I was in Mexico City last weekend to teach my second
Daoist Talisman class there.

In the class, the mother of a student (let's call him
Lopez) has terminal cancer and asked me for a favor--
draw a talisman for his mom.

I'd brought some Medicine Buddha healing cards which
are blessed and activated by me personally. But all
the students want one and I do not have enough. So I
have conducted a lucky draw. The chance of winning is
50%.

I want to give heaven a test...

The result is very strange and clear-cut. All the
students surrounding (left/right, front/back) Lopez
won one, except him. In fact, 4 out of 5 seats in
his row had won one, EXCEPT him.

Heaven has spoken clearly.

I gave him two talismans anyway-- one for his mom to
carry around for protection and another for ingestion.

I'm waiting for heaven's thunderbolt to strike.

I'll go back to Mexico City to teach Imperial QMDJ
next week, just in case heaven wants me to be punished
there.

BTW, QMDJ does not believe in fate. Everyday is a
good day except the hour and direction may not be
always good.

First Imperial Qi-Men-Dun-Jia seminar in Spanish

Note: The following blog was written in Dec. 1, 2006.

I've just finished the first Imperial QMDJ seminar in
Spanish in Mexico City last weekend.

This is probably the first QMDJ in Spanish. It
presents challenge to both the local organizer and me.
He has a heck of time to translate 500+ pages of
materials into Spanish and I've to tackle the
limitation of class duration.

The English version takes 5 days with 8-hours days.
In Mexico, the standard class duration is only 6 hours
(including coffee breaks!). We cannot extend the days
as it will increase tuition costs to students.

In the old days, it took 2-3 years to learn QMDJ. In
modern days, it takes 3 months in Taiwan to learn it.

If I factor in the time used by the translator, the
actual class time will be 50% of the English version.

So I am forced to put more critical info in written
form and let students read at their leisure.
Normally, most teachers only teach the important info
verbally in class to combat piracy. I've also designed
new learning aids and cheat sheets for accelerated
learning.

I've designed a "Magic Translation Ruler" that enable
students to translate QMDJ terms in a flash-- to find
out the elemental nature, auspiciousness of each
element and if 9-stars, 8-gates and 9-stems are fu-yin
or fan-yin.

I've taught a hi-speed method of finding out
day-charts. It takes as little as 30 seconds to find
the chart once the day stem and branch (binomial) is
known.

My Imperial QMDJ Luopan version 3 has some new
features: color and number coded for quick
recognition of elemental nature and auspiciousness/
inauspiciousness of each object. In addition to hour
charts, this luopan can also handle day, month and
year pans.

At the back of the IQMDJ luopan, I've put a highly
condensed "cheat sheet" that enables me to cut
instruction time by at least a day or two. Of course,
this really hurts into my bottom line. It also makes
copycats and pirates easier to learn QMDJ too. But
many Mexican students have sacrificed a lot to come to
this class, so I make sure they learn something.

The class is separated into two sessions with a
spacing of 6 weeks. The first 3 days are concentrated
on practical applications and the last 2 days on
theory and chart construction.

This arrangement enables students to test out QMDJ
before coming back for the theory class.

At the end of first session, I've given students 2
months worth of QMDJ charts (both day and hour charts,
about 4800 charts) optimized for
a. Buy/Sell and wealth-pursuit
b. Examination and Interview
c. Grand-opening and campaigning
d. Debt-collection and litigation
e. Construction and promotion
f. Recreation and health

Here are some results reported:

--A student got $5000 off WITHOUT asking when he buy a
property. He uses QMDJ good direction and seating
method.

--A student advised his pal using QMDJ, who were owed
a debt by a dead-beat for a long time. The debtor
suddenly offers him an used car to pay for the debt.
Two weeks later, he replaced the used car with a newer
Honda car-- without being asked.

--A student decided to test debt-collection chart one
morning. So he walked the QMDJ direction with his
dog. When he returned to his house, his partner said
the debtor suddenly called to pay the debt.

--A student advised her land-developer father on how
to walk the QMDJ chart and QMDJ seating method before
meeting a "very bad" customer. He was amazed that he
has sold 4 houses at a pop to this hard-to-deal with
customer without using much effort. He then has sold
2 more houses to 2 separate customers using the same
technique.

The common thread of these examples is that the users
do not expect easy results from difficult people.

The highlight of the class is when I talked about how
to apply QMDJ to soccer matches-- everyone's eyes
looked like $ signs. South Americans are crazy for
soccers. So we may see the Mexican National Soccer
team use QMDJ in the next World Cup match...

But I forgot to talk about how to use QMDJ to cross
the USA border.... may be a QMDJ class for the coyote
and a QMDJ class for USA Border Agents....

At end of the seminar, I gave students 2700 optimized
and task-specific charts, including one year's worth
of wealth-pursing day charts.

I'll be in Europe next few weeks....

Paradise of Urban Form Feng Shui

Note: This blog was written in May 22, 2007

I taught "Advanced Form Feng Shui" in Mexico City last
weekend.

During the hour-long trip from the airport to my
hotel, I took enough pictures of buildings for class
materials and no need (or time) to use my pictures
from Asia and USA.

Mexico City is the paradise of FS practitioners- -
buildings here are designed to maximize every inch of
space, so there are many odd shaped houses (and hence
got to have something wrong with FS!).

New building designs are bold and wild (and hence odd
shapes), especially those designed by the young
architects.

My "Advanced Form Feng Shui" class focuses on urban
forms and cases, so it really feels "at home" here.
Students can grasp the ideas pretty quick.

The regions near the international airport look like a
bagua from the air. So it has an unusually high
incidence of "fork" junctions and trianglar-shaped
buildings and lots.

Trianglar buildings stand for fire, arugment,
high-turnover, murder, injury and accidents...

Another unique feature here is the small water tanks
on top of small buildings (under 10 storeys). Instead
of a centralized water tank for water pressure/storge,
each apartment or unit has its own mini-water tank on
the top of the building.

This feature would qualify as "peeping head" and
"medicine cooker" in other parts of the world.

However, such feature or "energy" is so prevalent and
considered part of life (or "normal") here. The
effect of "peeping head" or "medicine cooker" becomes
minimal.

During class, a student asked if the FS of a house
will affect family members not living in the house.

I answered that family members need to live in the
house to be affected by the FS of that house.
However, a family altar will affect them even they do
not live inside the house. So one needs to be sure
the altar is set up the right way to avoid misfortune.

Some students were scared as they have both eastern
and western deities in their altars. They wanted me
to talk about rules on altar.

So I've spent an hour on altar. But when they want me
to teach them how to use altar to change the facing of
a house, I told them that is a US$20k trick.

I have finished the course with two super tips-- how
to fix toilet in center of house and staircase in the
center of the house. This two tips alone worth the
price of the whole course.

I normally have this "just this tip alone worth the
admission of this class" feature in most of my classes
:.))

That's why they keep coming back to my classes here.
