Influences of unfavorable element in Bazi 八字忌神

In Bazi, unfavorable element or "annoying god" (ji-shen) refers to for an element that is detrimental to the person or "daymaster" (DM) of the natal chart owner.

Unfavorable element causes "imbalance" in a chart that may create misfortune, sickness and disasters. One of the goals of Bazi reading is to find out one's unfavorable element and make preparations and remedies to mitigate its effects.

The negative influences of unfavorable element can be observed from the ten transformation stars or "10-gods" representing these elements:

1. Zheng-cai or +wealth star is unfavorable: low wealth luck and salary or income, work/ career problems; high work output or effort with low return.

2. Pian-cai or -wealth star is unfavorable: poor luck in non-regular income, likely to lose money in gambling, speculations, stock and investments

3. Zheng-guan or +power star is unfavorable: problem getting promotion in career or official position; unlikely to work for government; hard to rise through the ranks even if working for government.

4. Qi-sha (pian-guan) or -power star is unfavorable: Qi-sha represents "mean people", back-stabbers, illegal groups; prone to getting involved with Mafia-type people or being bullied; feeling pressure or being prosecuted; also lacking performance or achievement in career.

5. Zheng-yin or +resource star is unfavorable: stands for low academic background and performance; +resource star also represents helpful mentor or nobleman; this person lacks helpful mentor and must be self-reliant to achieve success.

6. Pian-yin or -resource star is unfavorable: This represents the senior relatives of chart owner are not healthy and is prone to being dragging down or implicated by them. This also means lacking relationship or communications with family members.

7. Jie-cai or +peer star is unfavorable: This stands for disharmony with siblings. This person appears to have many acquaintances but few real friends. This also means s/he tends to overwork.

8. Bi-jian or -peer star is unfavorable: This stands for siblings are likely financially unstable and not helpful to this person. It also means s/he is likely implicated or dragging down by his/her siblings.

9. Shang-guan or +output star is unfavorable: This person is prone to quarrel, dispute, gossip or scandal and likely to have sex scandal. +Output star also stands for mental fatigue and tough working conditions.

10. Shi-shen or -output star is unfavorable: This stands for depression due to no one recognize or hire one's talent. This could also mean one's thought is out of reality or unrealistic.

Babies with a 4-rabbits chart

Babies born in this upcoming March 10 from 5-7am (2023) will have a quad-rabbits chart (click pix to enlarge):

Chart with 4 identical branches has a major or even fatal disadvantage-- when one branch is clashed by a luck period, like in this case, when rooster or You year arrives, all branches will be clashed and shaken the chart to the core.

When all the branches of a chart are clashed, it implies major misfortune or even death.

Mao-you clash usually involves negative romance or sexual scandal. If not, traffic accident or surgery due to wood and metal battling.

4 rabbits or Mao-wood has an additional major disadvantage that may be worse than mao-you clash. When rat or Zi year comes, 4 zi-mao penalties will be formed which is one of the 3-penalties, known as "Penalty of Ingratitude". Some teachers think this penalty is more severe than clashes.

Predicting when your marriage partner will show up

Will you meet Mr. or Mrs. Right in 2023, 2024 or .......? The method below shows which year you may have the highest probability of getting married.

First, check the Appendix below to find out your birthday element or daymaster (DM). Then check the following.

In Bazi, wealth star (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) stands for wife and wealth for male. When annual luck brings a wealth star, a male is likely getting married.

If you are a male, and your birthday element is:

Jia or yi-wood days, you are likely to get married in years with last digit of 8 or 9 (like 2028, 2029)
Bing or ding-fire days, you are likely to get married in years with last digit of 0 or 1 (like 2030, 2031)
Wu or ji-earth days, you are likely to get married in years with last digit of 2 or 3 (like 2022, 2023)
Geng or xin-metal days, you are likely to get married in years with last digit of 4 or 5 (like 2024, 2025)
Ren or gui-water days, you are likely to get married in years with last digit of 6 or 7 (like 2026, 2027)

In Bazi, power star (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) stands for husband for female. When annual luck brings a power star, a female is likely getting married.

If you are a female, and your birthday element is:

Jia or yi-wood days, you are likely to get married in years with last digit of 0 or 1 (like 2030, 2031)
Bing or ding-fire days, you are likely to get married in years with last digit of 2 or 3 (like 2022, 2023)
Wu or ji-earth days, you are likely to get married in years with last digit of 8 or 9 (like 2028, 2029)
Geng or xin-metal days, you are likely to get married in years with last digit of 6 or 7 (like 2026, 2027)

1. Log in to www.bazi-calculator.com

2. In the right-side of the screen panel box, select "Ken Lai Method". No need to bother with anything else.3. Key in the guy's birthday and hour in the left side of the screen. Ignore the right side screen for "date to compare".
4. Click the "calculate" box to get results.
5. Scroll down the screen and see his Bazi chart in the left side with a table similar to the one here.
6. The first box of second column (the one with "day master" in it) shows the elemental nature of his daymaster (example here is geng-metal in grey color). Below are the colors of 5 elements:

Metal (Geng and Xin) in grey color

Wood (Jia and Yi) in green color

Water (Ren and Gui) in blue color

Fire (Bing and Ding) in red color

Earth (Wu and Ji) in yellow color

Should you do "older woman and younger man romance"? 姐弟恋

"Jiě dì liàn" ("elder sister romance with a younger man") is the Chinese term for relationship between a man with an older woman. In America, this is called "cougar" dating younger man who are 6- 20 years younger. This type of romance is common among career women who have "missed" the prime time for relationship with the same age cohort due to putting priority on career over romance.

If you are one of these "older women" and want to try your romance luck with younger males, this article will help you find the "better" guy for success.

The info below is also good for men under 30 years old if they want to check their suitability of dating an older women.

This is done by checking the birth chart of the man who the older woman dates. Check his Bazi chart for the following characteristics:

Daymaster or DM means the birth chart owner which is the day-stem of the day-pillar in a chart. Where DM sits on is called "spouse palace" which reflects type of spouse the person will meet. Power star is authority figure in Bazi. -Power star (qi-sha) is like a dictator or a strict boss. A male with -power star sitting in spouse palace needs a tough boss to manage him. A mature and older woman is perfect to provide guidance for him. The day-pillars below have -power star sitting in spouse palace:

-Power day-pillars: Jia-shen, Wu-yin, Ji-mao, Ren-xu, Gui-wei, Ren-chen and Gui-chou

#2 ranked characteristic: Daymaster sitting on +power star (zheng-guan)

+ Power star is also an authority figure. Whereas -power star (qi-sha) is like a dictator or a strict boss, +power is like like a parent or teacher with good intentions and rule with softer approaches and good intentions. A male with +power star sitting in spouse palace needs a gentle parent to guide him. An older or sisterly woman is perfect for him. The day-pillars below have +power star sitting in spouse palace:

#3 ranked characteristic: Daymaster sitting on +resource star (zheng-yin)

Bazi of people with problems getting married 剩男剩女的八字

In 2018, I have written about "Secrets of Bachelor and Spinster Feng Shui".

Today I discuss Bazi factors leading to problem getting married for both men and women.

1. Birth chart has no peach-blossom element (桃花): Zi, wu, mao and you are the four peach-blossom (PB) stars for romance and social networking. Missing this PB star means the person is not romantic or socially inactive.

2. Weak or no wealth star for male and power star for female: Wealth star is wife for male and power star husband for female in Bazi. When this star is weak or clashed, spouse is hard to come by.

3. Wealth star for male and power star for female is entombed: Wealth or power star entombed means spouse is put in storage and not accessible.

4. Strong peer stars for male: Peer stars jinx or "steal" wealth star (wife). Friends of the man "steal" or snatches his wife away.

5. Strong output stars for female: Output stars jinx power star (husband). The woman is too picky or demanding and scaring potential husband away.

6. Power or wealth star in void: Void means spouse is not there.

Predicting when romance or marriage happens 天喜星和红鸾星

In terms of Bazi, when a female runs into power star (guan-sha) year and male runs into wealth star (cai) year, he or she has the high probability of romantic encounters or even marriage.

Another easy method for predicting romance is checking one's Chinese zodiac animal sign and his/ her "Red Phoenix 红鸾星" and "Celestial Celebration 天喜星" stars.

Red Phoenix Star relates to potential for formal marriage. Celestial Celebration Star is associated with a broad range of celebrations including marriage. The table below shows how to locate these two stars:

One has better chance of meeting the "right" partner when his or her Red Phoenix or Celestial Celebration Star runs into his/ her chart. For example, based on the above table, if your Chinese zodiac animal sign is rat, when the current year animal sign is rabbit or rooster, you have a good chance of meeting your potential partner or getting married.

Is the Year of Rabbit dangerous for you?

This question can be answered by checking your Bazi chart. Year 2023 is the year of water-rabbit or Gui-mao. If your chart has a pillar that is antagonistic or opposite to Gui-mao, it means you are battling the rulers of the year-- Gui-water is the "Year ruler" (歲君) and Mao-rabbit is the Grand Duke of the year.

Charts with the following pillars have the greatest "danger" because they are battling with the the year ruler and Grand Duke:

Ding-you (fire-rooster)
Ji-you (earth-rooster)

If any of these pillars is your day-pillar, it means the clash is on you or the daymaster! This could mean serious illness, injury or even death. You should very worry and careful if you are currently in-between 33- 48 years old.

If any of these pillars is your year-pillar, it means your parents or senior relatives may have issues this year.

If any of these pillars is your month-pillar, it means your siblings or parents may need to be cautious this year. If you are over 60 years old, clashing the month pillar is not a good sign because is considered as "the dam" of your chart.

If any of these pillars is your hour-pillar, your children may be in trouble.
