Auspicious Moving Days for 2018

The following auspicious moving days are based on basic traditional Chinese date-selection method.

An auspicious moving day can enhance the good Feng Shui of the house and delay negative events from happening if the Feng Shui is bad.

Each day entry below specifies which Chinese Zodiac animal is clashed by that day. The most important precaution for selecting a moving date is that the moving day animal sign should not clash the animal sign of the principal bread-winner of the family. There are more detailed precautions listed in the "Practical Date-selection Methods" discussion list.

Bazi: Meaning of NO wealth element in natal chart

500th article of this blog: I have started writing articles about Chinese Metaphysics since 2000. It takes 18 years to write the 500th article.

MEANING OF NO WEALTH ELEMENT IN NATAL CHART

Daymaster (DM) lacks relationship or karma with father like father dies prematurely, runs away, is incapable, chronically sick or handicapped.
DM lacks relationship or karma with wife like frequent confrontations, marrying late and likely separated eventually.
DM has little or no wealth luck, is likely to make money through physical labor (except chart with output star/s)
DM has problems keeping money-- money comes in first half of the year and gone in the second half.
DM loses wealth mostly due to defraud, robbery, injury or sickness and not for something of value.
DM has no or poor money management skill or losing money due to poor investment or speculations.

As usual, there are exceptions to the above, like if wealth element is unfavorable to the chart, then no wealth element actually is good for wealth.

Bazi: How to check the cheating potential of your husband

Will your husband cheat? Believe it or not, the answer may be found in your own Bazi chart!

In Bazi, power stars (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) represent husband/ boy friend for women. To check if your husband will cheat or not, you look at the interactions of power stars with your peer stars (bi-jian/ jie-cai) in your own Bazi chart. If there is/ are interactions would mean potential signs of cheating husbands or boy friends. It could also mean long courtship/ cohabitation with separations as ending.

If your natal chart meets any one of the following conditions, your husband is a potential cheater:
1. "Peer star snatches power star"(比劫夺官 ): Peer stars are daymaster's (DM) sisters, friends of same gender and colleagues. Power star is husband. When peer star snatching power star happens, it means close friend or even sister has "snatched" DM's husband away or simply having affair with DM's husband. The likelihood is higher when peer and power star are in the same pillar. If peer star and power star show up in stem level, it means they have the affair openly without fear. If both stars are in the branch level, the affair is going on in secret.
2. Power star is combined away (官杀被合 ): Power star represents a woman DM's husband. When it is combined away means her husband is taken away . For example, bing-fire is the power star of xin-metal female DM. If there is another xin-metal in the chart, especially if it is next to bing-fire, the probability of xin-metal DM losing her husband to another female will be high.
3. Peer star in day-branch (日支见比劫星 ): Day-branch is the location of spouse palace or husband in a chart. This palace prefers seeing wealth or power but not peer star. If peer star is unfavorable in the chart, mistress may likely show up.

For example: female chart
YEAR: Geng-wu
DAY: Yi-you
MONTH: Geng-yin
HOUR: Geng-chen

Female Geng-metal DM's husband is wu-fire. Wu-fire is in the year pillar. This means her husband is likely from far away or out of state/ province. Wu-fire is surrounded by metal (this means peer stars snatching him away). This women had many unsuccessful romances with out-of-state boy friends.

If your chart does not see any power star, never mind if your husband will cheat or not, worry about how to get a husband first. Usually this means you may have problem getting a husband or lacking relationship with husband if getting one.

Male readers may find a new explanation for cheating-- "wife's chart shows that I will cheat". Female readers can tell their hubbies why they keep following them or put a male chastity belt on them in certain periods. However, there are subtle and low profile Bazi remedies than these in-your-face fixes.

What happen to the peasant who had sold Grand Duke

In March of 2015, a Liaoning (遼寧 China) peasant Wang Cheng De (王承德 ) had dug up a 70 Kg. "Real Grand Duke"-- a rare type of mushroom that is supposedly has many medicinal applications according to ancient Chinese medicine texts. He had sold the mushroom for RMB$ 3 million (US$500k).

Unlike other people with sudden riches, Wang did not spend his new found fortune on luxuries nor speculate on stock market. Instead, he had invested RMB$1.5 million to build a vacation resort, RMB$260k on 50 donkeys, RMB$180k on a new car, the rest of the money is invested on a fish pond to raise fishes and ducks.

Wang is a typical industrious peasant who likes to work.

In the summer of 2017, a giant flood had destroyed Wang's resort and fish pond. His fishes and ducks were disappeared in a flash. Wang did not even have a place to stay but to live in his tree house. His capital equipment is gone and with no funding source.

Wang had fallen in depression. He did some soul searching and reflection in the tree house. He had decided to sell his remaining herds of about 40 donkeys at cost and raised RMB$200k.

He used the money to buy some pigs and raise them in the donkey stables. He also bought 2000 chicklings to raise them up as "free range chickens". At the same time he formed a co-op for cultivating mushrooms.

Wang once again is full of hope for his future. He said by next year at around this time, he will have 10k free range chickens and a rebuilt fish pond.

He is unfazed by the wrath of Grand Duke.

POSTSCRIPT: THE MANY FACES OF GRAND DUKE
Grand Duke comes in many forms. Grand Duke can represent a direction not to be disturbed in Feng Shui or a time marker that may clash the birth year of some people.

The "Grand Duke" here is one type of Ganoderma or 肉靈芝 in Chinese. Because of its rarity, it is enshrined with many mysterious medicinal functions.

According to traditional belief, this Grand Duke mushroom should not be touched or moved except for saving life【太歲勿動除非用作藥材救人】. When discovered, Grand Duke mushroom is enshrined and worshiped.

According to legend, Grand Duke mushroom is the guardian spirit of the land. If it is removed, the land in which it resides will lose its "earth energy". The pictures below are different variations of the Grand Duke mushroom.
