Below are some common Feng Shui warnings of approaching misfortune:
1. Heaven shows movements and noises: "Heaven" here means your ceiling or items attached to ceiling, such as lamps and decorations, suddenly shaking or making noises. This is especially serious if the noises are from the objects in the SW and NE side. This signals the seniors in the house will have misfortune or ancestors' tombs are being "clashed" by negative energy.
2. Earth rots and changes: "Earth" here means the ground or floor of your house shows rotten or strange smell or rising up or caving in. This also includes objects put on the floor. It implies the person occupies this room or person matching the bagua location may have major sickness or disaster, like if this in SE, the elder daughter may be in trouble.
3. Breaking or cracking windows and doors: If the windows, doors or wall suddenly have cracks or broken, it is the signal of losing wealth, quarrel or separation.
4. Abnormal animal and insect behaviors: The house suddenly invaded by bugs or hearing strange noises made by animals outside or house pet suddenly died-- these are signs of "yin" or spirit disturbance. This is the warning signal about family members may have upcoming disaster or acute sickness.
5. Water pipe leaking water suddenly without cause: this is advanced warning for losing wealth and woman illness.
6. Wilting plants: Indoor plant and/ or outdoor plants wilted or died overnight. This is a warning of family member may have upcoming accident or disaster.
Common remedy for the above is repair and replace broken or damaged items immediately. Remove or clean the offending items. Another remedy is: be extra careful when traveling and avoid taking risk and making major decisions for a while. Performing some charitable deeds may help too.
