The Chinese word for jinx is "ke" (克) which literally means "to restraint, subdue or overcome".
However, even many Chinese readers have misunderstood the meaning of jinx and equated it to "jinxing someone to death".
In the context of marriage, spouse-jinxing means the marriage has many problems and issues than average couples.
One way to determine if someone jinxes his/ her spouse is through reading his/ her Bazi birth chart. Male chart with strong or numerous peer stars (bi-jian/ jie-cai) likely jinxes his wife (and also father). Female chart with strong or numerous output stars (shi-shen/ shang-guan) likely jinxes her husband.
MANIFESTATIONS OF WIFE/ HUSBAND-JINXING
1. Problems getting married, late marriage or even remain single.
2. Disharmony between the couple after marrying; argue and fight all the time.
3. Separated due to career/ work or relationship problem.
4. Extended period of sex life issues.
5. Domestic violence (by husband or wife).
6. Husband or wife has chronic or severe illness.
7. Divorce.
8. Spouse had died prematurely (before age 60).
9. The divorced husband/ wife will likely remarry someone who has also divorced.
10. Someone whose spouse had died prematurely, when remarrying, s/he like will marry someone who will die prematurely too.
If a person's chart shows "jinxing" certain family member, it is NOT that person causing the death or misfortune of that member. It is the destiny of that member regardless who runs into that position (as in the context of marriage).
"Ken, is there any remedy for spouse-jinxing?"
The most common fix is to find someone who also jinxes spouse. When a couple who jinx each other may neutralize the overall jinx. For other remedies, please take my:
