How to detect "compassionate appearance with a vicious heart" 面慈心恶與面恶心慈

It is not unusual that we run into someone who sounds and looks kind but is as venomous as a snake in reality.  We may also encounter the least expected critical help from people whom we had thought nasty and unkind.  In Chinese, these scenarios are called "compassionate appearance with a vicious heart 面慈心恶" and "vicious appearance with a compassionate heart 面恶心慈".

 "10-GODS": ZHENG-SHEN AND PIAN-SHEN 

The 10 transformation stars ("10-gods") by themselves are neither positive nor negative. They become value-laden when interact with other stars within a natal chart.  However, even without doing a formal calculation of favorable or unfavorable element for a chart, the first quick glimpse of the number of certain stars or “gods” will give you a general idea of the personality and personal characteristics of the chart owner.  

This is done by classifying 10-transformation stars into two groups:  zheng-shen and pian-shen.  They literally mean normal and deviated “gods”.

ZHENG-SHEN  正神

The word “zheng” means standard, normal, formal, rightful and righteous.  “Shen” means "god" or transformation star in this context.  Zheng-shen here refers to the group of transformation stars (“10 Gods”)  that are usually perceived as positive in the chart.  Here are the zheng-shen:

•  Zheng-yin (+resource)
•  Zheng-guan (+power)
•  Zheng-cai (+wealth)
• Shi-shen (-output)
• Pian-cai (-wealth)
• Bi-jian (-peer)

Please note that zheng-shen is based on the perceived positive value of the star and has little or nothing to do with the polarity (yin or yang) of the star.

 PIAN-SHEN 偏神

The word “pian” means non-regular, deviated, side-tracked, unofficial, informal, non-standard and illicit.  It has a taint of negativity.  Pian-shen here refers to the group of transformation stars that are usually perceived as negative in a chart.  Here are the pian-shen:

• Jie-cai (+peer) 
• Shang-guan (+output) 
• Qi-sha (-power)  
• Pian-yin (-resource) 

BAZI PERSONALITY MAGNIFIER

Below are the steps to figure out the inner personality of a person:

1.  Get the birthday of your target person and generate a Bazi natal chart.

2.  Check the number of zheng-shen and pian-shen (10-gods) in stem level (Are there more zheng-shen than pian-shen stars or vice versa?)

3.  Check the number of zheng-shen and pian-shen (10-gods) in branch level.

Interpretations:

1.  Stem level has mostly zheng-shen and branch level mostly pian-shen: this person has a "compassionate appearance with a vicious heart 面慈心恶"

2.  Stem level has mostly pian-shen and branch level mostly zheng-shen:  this person has a "vicious appearance with a compassionate heart 面恶心慈"

3.  Stem level has mostly zheng-shen and branch level mostly zheng-shen: this person is an authentic person with both "compassionate appearance and heart 面慈心慈"

4.  Stem level has mostly pian-shen and branch level mostly pian-shen:  this person is a real "bad" person who has "vicious appearance with a vicious heart 面恶心恶"

The theory behind this method:  Stem level represents external attributes of a person that are visible to the public.  Branch level stands for internal attributes that are hidden and not visible outside.

Dog has no "bystander problem"

On June 13, 2017, a white dog was hit by a car and died on the road in China's Nantong City of Jiangsu Province.  The deceased dog's friend, a black dog, had pulled it from the busy traffic to roadside and tried to "revive" it by shaking and pulling the dead body.

Dog is the best friend of any species. The video below speaks volumes:

Only a few days ago, also in China, a report of a gruesome death of a Henan woman hit by two cars in less than a few minutes due to "bystander effect" is released.  Over 40 people and cars had passed by the victim after she was hit by the first car-- had not done a thing to help the victim.

Will your BFF steal your man?

It is not unusual to see BFF (best friend forever) "steals" boy friend from her friend.  The following Bazi characteristic list helps you filter out your potential man-snatcher pals before your treat them as BFF.  If you are not familiar with Bazi terms, simply go to bazi-calculator.com, enter your friend's birthday and see if you find the specific elements listed below in her chart.

BAZI CHARACTERISTICS OF "MAN-SNATCHER" WOMAN

1.  Numerous -power (qi-sha) elements-- charts with 2 or more qi-sha elements means there will be numerous men/ lovers in their life.  It means your man would be fair game.
2.  Numerous +peer (bi-jian) elements-- charts with 2 or more bi-jian elements means the DMs like competition.  It means they like to show they can get your man, play with him for a while, dump him and get another target.
3.  Ding and Bing-fire daymasters--  Ding and Bing-fire daymasters are likely cheerful, passionate and attractive.  They may find it fun and all right to actively engage your man.
4.  Ren and Gui-water daymasters--  Ren and Gui-water daymasters are likely sentimental, emotional and likeable.  They tend to like or love another man easily.  If there is metal in their charts, they are likely attractive and draw your man into them easily.

If your friend's chart has just one of the above characteristics, you put her on "watch list".  If she has one or more of the above,  hide your man from her.

Good man is hard to come by.  Good luck safeguarding your "man-interest".

If "your man" is easily tempted by another woman, you may not want to "keep" him either.
