Recharge and Reboot your Feng Shui luck for the Year of Rat

Tomorrow (Jan. 24, 2020) will be the last day of Year of Pig and the day after will be the Chinese Lunar New Year.  Here are something you can do to enhance your luck.

"Recharge" means replenish the qi or energy of your house after a year of operation.  "Reboot" means restarting a new Feng Shui process because you feel your luck is less than satisfactory or even horrible.

Below are methods to recharge or reboot the Feng Shui energies of your house in the last day of the lunar year.

RECHARGE HOUSE FENG SHUI (do these in last day of the lunar year)
1.  Do a house cleaning, remove/ replace or repair broken or damaged items.
2.  Move your Feng Shui animals like ki-lun, calabash and the like to the location for the Year of Rat (see my previous post on Grand Duke for exact locations).
3.  Cut or remove dead leaves/ branches of any house plants.  If you want to add new plants, today or tomorrow (new year) is the best time to do it.

REBOOT HOUSE FENG SHUI
Do the #1- 3 in the "Recharge house Feng Shui" section, PLUS:
1.  At night, turn on all the lights in the house and let it on until morning.
2.  Find any portable light source (LED lights, light beam and the light) to illuminate/ flash any dark space/ corner in your house, including the underside of your bed, to drive out negative or dark energies.
3.  At mid-night (24:01), turn on any fans, open all windows and doors to force all indoor qi (energy of the Year of Pig) out of the house and draw in new year energy (do NOT do this if your luck is good in 2019).  If you want to be sure, burn some sage or incense to fume the house.  Close the door and windows when you feel the air inside your house is fresh.
4.  If you feel your personal luck was very bad in the Year of Pig, you can cleanse your aura by having another person sweeping sage or incense smoke around your body.

"Ken, can I still use these methods if I miss the last day of the year?"

Yes, wait 360+ days till Feb. 11, 2021 for the Year of Ox to do it.  But you can still use these methods in any day for cleansing.  The effects are just not as potent as doing it in the last day of the year.

Minimalist Feng Shui Guide for 2020 w/ Astrology

A picture is better than a thousand words.  You get essential Feng Shui guidance for 2020 in a glance here.  Ignore the additional notes and free Bazi guide below if you are busy or lazy (but it may save your life or marriage).

People with rat and horse animal sign should avoid seeing corpse being put into coffin or lowering into the ground.

Remedy for 5-yellow disaster and 2-black sickness star-- copper or brass objects.  No fire or red object and avoid movements in these regions.

Northwest region is good for money this year.  Sleep or sit there more often to attract wealth.

FREE ANNUAL ASTROLOGY/ BAZI GUIDE
People born in 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002 and 2014 with horse animal sign clash Grand Duke this year.  This could mean:

• moving
• promotion or demotion
• major illness
• travels
• funeral
• accident/ death

Actually people with wu (horse) day-branch in their Bazi charts are in more danger than animal sign clashing Grand Duke.  They are:  Jia-wu, bing-wu, wu-wu, geng-wu, and ren-wu day pillars.  Day-branch stands for spouse palace.  This may mean marital problems (if married, spouse may leave or die) but also means getting married if single.  Zi and wu are both peach-blossom elements, so the probability of affairs is pretty high.  If it is not affair, traffic accidents are likely to happen.

In fact, any Bazi chart with Jia-wu, bing-wu, wu-wu, geng-wu, and ren-wu pillars in any pillar of their Bazi chart have some troubles in terms of the family members each pillar represents.  To find if your chart has any one of these pillars, key in your birthday here:

People with Jia-wu and Bing-wu  day-pillars in their Bazi charts better pray more because their day-pillar fanyin Grand Duke (clashing 2020 Grand Duke from stem to branch).  This could mean major sickness, accident or disaster to the person or his/her spouse.  Avoid taking risks/ major decisions, attending funeral, visiting the sick in hospitals and unnecessary travels for this year of rat (2/4/2020- 2/2/2021).

Similarly, people with mao or rabbit animal sign in any of their pillars (including luck pillars) need to be more careful because mao and zi form a penalty.  It is one of the 3 penalties (yin-si-shen, xu-chou-wei and zi-mao).  The worst one is at the day-branch because it affects the daymaster (DM) or his/her spouse.  Zi-mao penalty may involve affairs resulting in losing wealth or lawsuit, accidents and legal problems.

If your chart already has wu, mao and you in the natal chart or with the luck pillars-- be very careful this year because your annual luck brings the zi to form zi-wu-mao-you 4-cardinal clash.  It is like 4 forty-feet container trucks hitting you from four directions.  Consult your Bazi reader or take these courses:

"Masters, you have forgotten the real horses."

Every year end, masters of various caliber enliven our lives with their "annual predictions". They tell us obvious things like "oil price will be very high" or "bank stocks sucks!" or scare us with those "famines, floods, earthquakes, terrorist attacks and (the sky may fall down)...".

2008 is the year of rat. They also give predictions based on the animal sign of the year--- rat is dirty, so disease will spread; rat means poverty, so people will be poorer...... there is no lack of imagination (or no imagination is needed).

When someone shoot out 100's of "predictions", there will be some hit the mark. The "misses" will be forgotten and the "hits" will be amplified 10X next year for promotions.

Few masters will make predictions if someone or website keeps a database of the "hit" and 'miss" of each master's annual predictions.

Yesterday (Jan. 30) and today, there are sad reports of horses being euthanized or starved to death from local newspaper:

Animal rescue volunteers say they're seeing more animals abandoned or dropped off at shelters as families are forced to move from homes that they can no longer afford.

"I'm getting skinny horses in here that people have walked away from," said Drew Fitzpatrick, director of the Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue Foundation, based in Zimmerman, Minn.

The problem has been exceedingly acute for horse owners, who were already facing high feed costs because of rising commodity prices and the recent elimination of horse slaughterhouses in America. That market -- a federal ban recently closed the last three such slaughterhouses in the United States -- once provided horse owners with an option that paid about $600 per horse, when there was nowhere else to turn.

Reports have cropped up of horses wandering the Florida Everglades and coal mines in Kentucky, where owners too poor to care for them have set them free to forage on their own.

A horse owner recently euthanized more than 80 horses, most of them Shetland ponies, in Grey Eagle, Minn., northwest of St. Cloud, because of rising feed costs and her own poor health.

Others are seeking help. "All of our rescue groups are overwhelmed with horses," said Stephanie Valberg, director of University of Minnesota equine center.

In 4-Pillars, rat clashes horse (zi-wu clash). It seems real horses also get affected too when Year of Rat approaches.

While most masters have warned people with horse animal sign to be careful during the Year of Rat, almost none has warned the real horses (or at least horse owners).

Read my lips-- these masters will warn the goats (rams) for 2009 (year of ox) and monkeys in 2010 (year of tiger).

The Rat is coming! Feng Shui & 4-Pillars Precautions

Hi Pals,

Congratulations! You have (almost) survived the Year of Pig!

The Year of Rat will start in about 2 weeks. However, we have already sensed the change of energy or qi. We can do our Feng Shui and 4P remedies now.

In terms of Feng Shui, this is the annual chart for the Year of Rat:

8 1 3
4 6 2

5-yellow disaster star is in the South. My garage is in the South! I have just tied a brass wind-chime to the garage door opener, so that whenever the garage door is opened, there will be pleasant metal sound to neutralize the 5-yellow energy. If 5-yellow is in your bedroom or places that have lots of movement, put a coin-salt solution fix there. Avoid movement in 5-yellow area is the best policy.

2-black sickness star is in the Northwest. Put some metal or 6 copper coins will fix it.

8-wealth star is in the east. You can put a water fountain or things that move a lot there to energize the wealth energy.

9-purple fire star is in the southeast and also good for wealth (non-regular income). You can create movement there.

In terms of 4-pillars, the followings are possible scenarios for the branches:

rat (zi):
-- clashes with wu-horse
-- penalizes with mao-rabbit
-- harms ("hai") you-rooster
-- breaks ("po") wei-ram

-- combines with shen-monkey and/or chen-dragon
-- combines with hai-pig AND chou-ox

The most serious one is zi-wu clash because both are pure and strong energies (2 of the 4 cardinal energies). It signifies bloody events or major traffic accidents.

The next worse one is zi-mao penalty. It signifies major sickness or major fall from grace. Sometimes it jinxes close relatives of the day-master.

As for the stems, wu-earth (of wu-zi rat year)
-- combines with gui-water to form fire
-- controls or "ke" ren-water
-- being controlled or "ke" by jia-wood

People with ren-water or jia-wood DM should be cautious, esp. jia-wood DM.

People with ren-zi or jia-zi day-pillar should pray or do more charity work this year and pay more attention to the marriage department-- separation, divorce or death of spouse are possible.

I'll have a course on how to enhance 4P fortunes and fix 4P problems like the above. But for the time being, if you run into zi-wu clash, zi-mao penalty, wu-ren clash and the like.... go donate blood (do a blood test if you can't donate blood), do charity work or send money to me (just kidding).
