Feng Shui that affects the male head of the house

This article discusses common Feng Shui conditions that affect the well-being and luck of the male head of the household or business.

In Feng Shui theory, Qian or northwest sector represents the heaven, father or husband of a household.  Kun or southwest sector represents the earth, mother or wife.  Hence the NW environment and item placement reflect the luck and position of the oldest male of the house.

The items below affects the well-being of the the oldest male in a property or boss in a business:

1.  NW sector should not have a missing corner or the eldest male will have no status, being physically weak/ chronically sick, not staying home, low luck, or even die prematurely.
2.  There should be no toilet in NW sector or the oldest male will suffer illness/ low luck.  If this house has no male, woman owner will have hard time finding or keeping a man.   If this is a business, employees will not listen to the boss.
3.   Do not hammer nails or hooks in NW walls.  This may affect the health of the old male.
4.  Keep NW sector clean for health of the male head
5.  Do not put heavy objects in NW sector.  This may curtail his luck
6.  Put auspicious items or decorations related to status and power in NW sector to generate good qi / energy for the male head
7.  Kitchen must not be placed in NW or children will be rebellious.  This is called "fire burning heaven's gate" because NW is metal energy in nature.

Bad Feng Shui for the man of the house

House Feng Shui affects the career and health of the residents, especially for the breadwinner/s of the house.  The Feng Shui conditions below will affect the "man of the house":

1.  Missing northwest corner  
-- Northwest (NW) represents the oldest male in the house.  If NW sector is missing in a house, it will affect the oldest male's career and health.  Usually this male also suffers low self-esteem or does not want to stay home.

2.  Missing corner in NW-- occupied by elevator
-- In this scenario, NW is not really missing but is not part of the house or apartment.  NW sector is occupied by an elevator. Elevator moves up and down all day long in NW will affect the male of the house seriously.  This man may have chronic illness. If annual star 5-disaster and 2-sickness lands on NW, elevator movement will activate the negativity affecting this man of the house.

3.  Toilet or bathroom in NW sector
-- Toilet has dirty water and water-flushing frequently.  It will affect the man of the house in terms of his career and wealth luck.  He may lose his official position if working for the government and filing bankruptcy if running a business.  If this is a single woman house, she will have problem getting a stable boy friend or husband.

4.  Kitchen in NW sector
-- NW is metal in nature and kitchen is fire.  Kitchen in NW may cause respiratory and brain illness to the residents, especially the oldest male of the house.  This situation is also called "Fire burning heaven's gate".  It stands for rebellious children who bully the father.

"Fire Burning Heaven's Gate" in Feng Shui 火烧天门

Northwest or Qian direction is the "heaven" or ruler direction in "post-heaven" Bagua.  Hence Qian is also known as "heaven's gate" in Feng Shui.

Generally speaking, when a kitchen or stove is located in the NW or Qian sector of a house, it has "fire burning heaven's gate" Feng Shui problem.

Qian is metal in nature.  It stands for the head, respiratory system, career and oldest male in the house. With "fire burning heaven's gate" Feng Shui, the residents of this house are likely to suffer head injuries/ sickness, mental illness, respiratory problem, rebellious children, lung or brain cancer, fire and career problems.  The oldest male is the likely victim though young girl and boy can also suffer.

There are more than one type of "fire burning heaven's gate"

TYPES OF "FIRE BURNING HEAVEN'S GATE"
1.  Xuan Kong Flying Star versions:
a.  when 9-purple star flies to NW (Qian palace)
b.  when 6-white metal star flies to the south (Li Palace)

2.   Bazhai or 8-Mansions Feng Shui version:
--  when Wu-gui (5-ghosts, also known as Lian-zhen star, fire in nature) lands on NW.  For example, a house with Mao (East) sitting and You-facing (West).

3.  General Feng Shui versions:
a.  when kitchen, stove, fridge, TV, computer or electronic items  indoor OR outdoor tall objects like power tower, tall building, chimney....etc, are located in NW sector 
b.  when kitchen, stove, fridge, TV, computer or electronic items  indoor OR outdoor tall objects like power tower, tall building, chimney....etc, are located in the south sector. 

How do you fix this "fire burning heaven's gate" problem?  Obviously, move the kitchen or related hot items out of NW or the south.

"Ken, how about if we cannot relocate the kitchen or these objects, especially the outdoor ones?"

There are remedies and simple fixes for it that cost little or almost next to nothing.  Simply consult a Feng Shui professional or your teacher.
