Pet Feng Shui: Cats and Dog Edition 猫狗风水

Some pet owners may wonder why their pets are weak, getting sick a lot and not smart, but finding their pals with active, strong and active pets.  This may have something to do with the Feng Shui of their residences.                       

Below are some simple pet Feng Shui for dogs and cats.

IDEAL HOUSE DOOR-FACING FOR DOGS

In the Chinese Zodiac system, dog is earth in nature and represented by the Chinese character 戌"Xu".  Dog "likes" (combines) with tiger ("Yin"), horse ("Wu") and rabbit ("Mao") in this system.  Hence, houses with door-facing represented by these four animals in terms of direction will be favorable for raising strong and healthy dogs.

• Dog direction is Qian palace or NW
• Tiger direction is Gen palace or NE  (NE3 or NE-E)
• Horse direction is Li palace or South
• Rabbit direction is Zhen palace or East

NEGATIVE HOUSE DOOR-FACING FOR DOGS

Dog "clashes" with dragon or SE direction.  Dogs living in house with SE door are sickness-prone.

Dog "penalizes" ox or NE (NE-N).  Dogs living in house with NE-N door get minor problems.

• Dog clashes dragon or Xun palace or SE
• Dog penalizes ox or Gen palace or NE  (NE1 or NE-N)

If you live in a house with negative door-facing for dogs but like dogs, you can put the dog house/ bed in the NW, NE-E, south or east side of your house.  Avoid dog house made with metal or wood.

Suitable colors for dog house. mat and etc.:  brown, yellow, red, purple, orange

Avoid these colors for dog house. mat and etc.:  green, white, grey

• Dog direction is Qian palace or NW
• Tiger direction is Gen palace or NE  
• Horse direction is Li palace or South
• Pig direction is Qian palace or  NW

Cat "penalizes" snake or SE.  Cats living in house with SE door are getting minor problems.

• Cat penalizes snake or Xun palace or SE  

If you live in a house with negative door-facing for dogs but like cats, you can put the cat house/ bed in the NW, NE or south side of your house.  Avoid cat house made with metal.

Suitable colors for cat house. mat and etc.:  black, blue, green

Avoid these colors for cat house. mat and etc.:  red, purple, orange, white, grey
