Property acquisition method as reflected from your natal chart

Your birthday may have data showing how your real estate property is acquired.  This is done by converting your birthday into a Bazi natal chart and check the distributions of different stars ("transformation star" or "10-gods").

If you do not know how to create a Bazi chart, you may search this blog archive or the web for
this info.

PROPERTY ACQUISITION SIGNALS IN BAZI

Chart with resource star (zheng-yin) and is favorable:  Year and/or month pillar has resource star and DM (daymaster) also sits on a resource star; plus resource star is favorable for the chart-- DM is likely to inherit parental property OR parents take care of property acquisition for DM.  Property purchasing timing likely in +/- peer luck year  (bi-jian/ jie-cai year).

2. Weak DM with +/- peer star (Bi-jian/ Jie-cai) and unfavorable +/- power star (Zheng-guan/ Qi-sha):  Chart with these conditions may purchase property due to peer or other pressure.  DM is likely to borrow money or trying every possible means to buy a property.

3. Chart with unfavorable resource star (zheng-yin) and favorable +/- wealth star (Zheng-cai/ Pian-cai)  to control resource star:  Chart with these conditions may get unexpected help from "nobleman" or wealth luck to purchase property without any sweat or calculations.

Missing a transformation star or "10-god" in a Bazi chart

Bazi astrology reading is based on the interplay of the basic 5-elements and the 10 transformation stars or "10-gods" represented by these 5-elements.  It is not uncommon for a Bazi chart missing one or more of the five elements (water, wood, fire, earth and earth).  What are the implications of this missing element or transformation star?

In this article we focus on the missing transformation star first.  10-transformation stars represent a person's social aspects and family linkages like wealth luck, career, siblings, love relationship and the likes.  Missing a transformation star due to a missing element will affect the luck trend represented by that transformation star.

Below are the meanings of missing a certain transformation star in a chart:

1.  Missing  peer stars (bi-jian/ jie-cai):  Peer stars represent one's (daymaster or DM) siblings, friends, co-workers, peer group and sociability.  Missing peer star means DM has poor social skill, problem making friends, indecisive, lacking initiative and vision, following but not taking charge, over-cautious and not generous.

2.  Missing  output stars (shi-shen/ shang-guan):  Output stars represents DM's EQ, smart, talent, imagination, creativity and juniors/ subordinates.  Missing output star means DM lacking talent and opportunity to utilize his/her talent, is ineloquent and not good at generate money.  If DM is a female, may have problem raising kids or lack relationship with her children.

3.  Missing  wealth stars (pian-cai/ zheng-cai):  Wealth stars represents DM's wealth luck, wealth management power and opportunity.  It also represents DM's father.  Missing wealth star means DM lacking money management skills and wealth opportunities, and has little or no relationship/ karma with father.  If DM is a male, may have problem getting married or lacking relationship/ karma with wife.

4.  Missing  power stars (qi-sha/ zheng-guan): Power stars represents DM's social status, executive power, self-control, career and superiors.  Missing power star means DM lacks self-control, inconsiderate, prone to laziness, big swing of ups and downs skills and is difficult to get social approval and recognition.  If DM is a female, may have problem getting married or lacking relationship/ karma with husband.

5.  Missing  resource stars (pian-yin/ zheng-yin): Resource stars represents DM's education, career, family, parents, senior generation and helpful mentors.  Missing resource star means DM lacks relationship with mother, problem getting academic achievement and real estate, instability in career and feeling insecure.

The above observations focus mainly on the missing star is favorable to the chart.  If the missing element is unfavorable and does not show up, DM may get the benefit of that missing element.  The degree of positivity or negativity due to a missing star also depends on chart composition and whether DM is strong or weak.

There are some remedies for missing transformation star or element that you may find in this course:

Rarely published info on "wealth star breaks resource star" 财星破印

Wealth star damages resource star  (财坏印) is also known as "wealth star breaks resource star" (财破印).  What does this mean?  You will be surprised by the multitude of meanings that these 3 Chinese characters cover.

Wealth is important because everyone needs it to survive.  When a daymaster (DM) is weak with wealth star in his/ her chart implies greed and material desires.

A chart with "wealth star damages resource star" usually means DM is weak, likes resource star to nurture him/ her and dislikes wealth star (because wealth controls resource in Bazi).

Hence, resource star is the favorable element ("yong-shen") for a weak DM, but if there is/ are wealth stars to control or clash it, a few or more of the following scenarios may happen to this DM:

1. leaves hometown to make a living
2. does not have a stable job/ career
3. does not do well in school
4. runs into disaster/ misfortune due to money
5. jinxes mother
6. DM is a weakling or chronically sick
7. moves frequently
8. DM is unrealistic; a jack of all trades
9. does not get along with mother-in-law (female DM)
10. gets into trouble/ disaster due to women (male DM)

DM would run into at least one or two of the above situations.  If a luck period brings this "wealth star damages resource star" to the natal chart, DM likely suffers misfortune like losing public office/ job or troubles due to wealth/ woman.  This problem will be lessen if there is/ are peer stars (bi-jian/ jie-cai) to control the wealth stars.

COMMON CAREERS FOR CHART WITH "WEALTH BREAKS RESOURCE STAR"

• Boss of scammer group
• Self-employed
• Innovative trade/ work
• Under-covered detective
• out-of-hometown work
• Escort (female)
• Any work for money if not illegal

COMMON SCENES FOR CHART WITH "WEALTH BREAKS RESOURCE STAR"

• parents do not get along or separated
• family disharmony
• selfishness
• poor reputation/ low credibility
• dishonest merchant/ selling fake goods
• mother- and daughter-in-law disharmony
• strong material desires/ hedonistic
• poor academic performance
• unrealistic/ impractical; jack of all trades
• studying for degree not in demand by society
• weakling or chronically sick
• home altar has Feng Shui problem
• when DM becomes strong (when peer luck comes), will help parents with money and love

Many so-called Bazi or Feng Shui secret codes/ poems/ trick songs only list the "if you see this and this will happen" but seldom specify the conditions.   This "wealth star damages resource star" is an example.  These "conditions" and details are usually taught verbally between teacher and students.

Many readers have commented that they found info in this blog not taught in the Bazi courses taken from other schools.

How to check career and residential changes

"When will I change career?"  "When will I buy or build a house?"  These are common questions in a Bazi consultation.

Career and residential changes are checked through  branch clashes in one's Bazi chart with luck periods.  Whether the results are positive or negative depends on the favorableness of the luck period.

• Zi, wu, mao and you regional clashes:  stand for residential change but no career change.
• Yin, shen, si and hai career clashes:  stand for both career change and residential change.
• Chen, xu, chou and wei career clashes:  stand for career change but no residential change.

Resource stars (zheng-yin/ pian-yin) represent house or property in Bazi.  The clashing and combination of resource star reflect changes in property ownership or movement (not elaborated here for this article).

WORK OR CAREER CHANGES BASED ON 10-GODS

Career or employer is represented by power stars (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) in terms of transformation stars ("10-Gods").  Career changes are likely to occur when:

• 10-years-luck/ annual luck bring in output star (shang-guan/ shi-shen)--  career or job duty changes
• 10-years-luck/ annual luck branch clashing the power stars (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) in the chart--  career or job duty changes
• 10-years-luck/ annual luck pillars clashing or modifying the power stars (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) and resource stars (zheng-yin/ pian-yin) in the chart--  both career and residential changes

Please refer to the link below if you have problem understanding the Bazi terminology used here.
http://kenlaifengshui.blogspot.com/2011/05/4p-bazi-terminology-conventions.html

10 TRANSFORMATION STARS CLASH MEANINGS

5.  When peer star (bi-jian/ jie-cai 比劫) is clashed
This means losing wealth due to friends/peer group or unable to make friends with others.  This person can make friends IF peer star is unfavorable.

One Pillar Bazi: Marriage Prediction

Today is your lucky day!  After reading this post, you can predict one's marriage life in general without knowing much about Bazi.

Here are the step by step procedures:
1.   Use the birthday the person and convert it into a Bazi natal chart with 4 columns.  Each column is called a "pillar".  Our focus is on the day-pillar (see Appendix below for simple procedures to do it).
2.  Write down the name of the day pillar from the Bazi-Calculator output (see Appendix).  In the Appendix below the example day pillar is geng-shen.
3.  Match the entries below and read explanations.

KEY TO DAY-PILLAR AND MARITAL BLISS
Day-pillar consists of two parts.  The upper part is the day-stem or daymaster which represents the chart owner.  Lower part is the day-branch or "spouse palace".  It represents the spouse of the daymaster (DM).  This method checks which star occupies the spouse palace to determine marital bliss of the chart owner.

1.  Great and happy marriage for male daymaster with wealth star (zheng-cai/ pian-cai) in  day-branch (spouse palace).  Wealth star stands for wife for a male DM. If wealth star is favorable, the male may get wealth from wife or her family.  If DM is a female, the marriage is also above average because wealth star nurtures power star (husband star for female).  There are eight day-pillars in this category:
-- yi-chou, yi-wei, bing-shen, ding-you, wu-zi, ji-hai, geng-yin and ren-wu.

2.  Great and happy marriage for female daymaster with power star (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) in day-branch (spouse palace).  Power star stands for husband for a female DM. If power star is favorable, the husband is famous with high status.  If DM is a male, the marriage is also above average if he is a strong DM.  There are eight day-pillars in this category:
-- jia-shen, yi-you, ding-hai, ji-mao, geng-wu, xin-si, gui-chou and gui-wei.

3.  Good and happy marriage for female daymaster with resource star (zheng-yin/ pian-yin) in day-branch (spouse palace).  Resource star stands for mother or older generation.  Resource star in spouse palace means spouse nurturing DM.  Hence it will be a happy and blissful marriage for both male and female DM. There are twelve day-pillars for this category:-- jia-zi, yi-hai, bing-yin, ding-mao, wu-wu, ji-si, geng-chen, geng-xu, xin-chou, xin-wei and ren-shen.

4.  Different outcomes for female and male daymaster with output star (shang-guan/ shi-shen) in day-branch (spouse palace).  Output star nurtures wealth star (wife for male DM).  Output star is favorable when DM is strong.  Hence for strong male DM with output star in spouse palace will have an above average marriage but poor relationship if this male DM is weak.  Output star hurts power star (husband for female DM).  Hence, marital relationship will be bad if female DM has output star sitting in spouse palace.  There are nine day-pillars in this category:
-- jia-wu, yi-si, bing-chen, bing-xu, ji-you, geng-zi, xin-hai, ren-yin and gui-mao.

5.  High divorce rate for both female and male daymasters with peer star (bi-jian/ jie-cai) in day-branch (spouse palace).  Peer star controls or "snatches" wealth star (wife for male DM) and drains power star (husband for female DM).  Hence people with this peer star in spouse palace have higher divorce rate.  There are twelve day-pillars for this category:
-- jia-yin, yi-mao, bing-wu, ding-si, wu-xu, ji-wei, ji-chou, geng-shen, xin-you, ren-zi and gui-hai.

6.  Incorrect yin-yang days are inauspicious for marriage.  Both male and female born in these days will remarry.  There are 12 "Incorrect yin-yang days" (阴阳差错日):
--  bing-zi, ding-chou, wu-yin, xin-mao, ren-chen, gui-si, bing-wu, ding-wei, wu-shen, xin-you, ren-xu and gui-hai.

7.  This two day-pillars jinx spouse:  jia-chen and ji-xu

Appendix:  How to find the day-branch of a person
1.  Go to http://bazi-calculator.com/

2.  Type in the birthday and gender (F or M) in the input table in the left side.
3.  Click "CALCULATE" box
4.  Check the left color table below the input table.  See the example here:
5.  The third color column (counting from right to left) is the day branch of the person.  It is "Geng-shen" in this example of someone born in June 24, 1990.

Do you jinx your children? 克子女八字

Your Bazi natal chart can reveal a lot about you--  your spouse, your wealth luck, your parents,  your family background, if you are an angel or an ass, and even if you will jinx your children or not  (time to take a Bazi course!)

People with the following Bazi characteristics in their natal Bazi chart may jinx their children:

1.  "Children palace" location is occupation by unfavorable elements (ji-shen).  Hour pillar is the children palace location.  This means children is not good for the daymaster (DM) or they are just "average" and not doing too well.

2.  Children palace is seriously clashed or penalized.  This means children has little or no relationship (karma) with DM. live far away from DM or die prematurely.

3.  Children palace sits on void branch.  "Void" means nothing.  DM may not have any children or children has little or no relationship (karma) with DM or DM cannot rely on them for old age support.

4.  Children palace is occupied by output stars (shi-shen/ shang-guan) for male DM.  Power stars (zheng-guan/ qi-sha) mean children for male.  The arch enemies of power stars are output stars.  Hence when children palace is occupied by output stars implies jinxing children for a male DM-- children do not like staying at home or have poor prospect or simply being "average".

5.  Children palace is occupied by resource stars (zheng-yin/ pian-yin) for female DM.  Output stars (shi-shen/ shang-guan) mean children for female.  The arch enemies of output stars are resource stars.  Hence when children palace is occupied by resource stars implies jinxing children for a female DM-- children do not like staying at home or have poor prospect or simply being "average".

If you are smart, the same analytical technique can be applied to other pillars to examine other family relationship, like month pillar for parents or sibling relationship.  This is equivalent to reading 1 article and get 3 free.  Life is good for you.

Fertility Bazi: Women with problems giving birth

Bazi characteristics of women with problem giving birth:

1. Chart with strong resource stars (zheng-yin/ pian-yin):  Output stars (shi-shen/ shang-guan) represents children for a female.  Resource stars are the arch-enemies of output stars.  For example, the output star of a female Jia-wood daymaster (DM) is fire and resource star is water.  Water extinguishes fire.  Hence if a chart with strong resource star will be unfavorable for child-birth, especially if the resource star is in the hour pillar (children palace!)

2. Chart with daymaster sitting on "yang-knife":  Chart with yang-knife on day-branch is prone to abortion, miscarriage or uterus surgery.  Women with the following day-pillars are sitting on a "yang-knife":  bing-wu, ding-si, wu-wu, ji-si, ren-zi and gui-hai.

3. Chart with day-branch clashing hour branch:  Hour pillar is the "children palace".  When it is clashed means instability, damaging, obstacles in giving birth and also prone to miscarriage.  Here are the potential day-hour branch clashes:  yin-shen, mao-you, chen-xu, si-hai, zi-wu and chou-wei.

4. Chart with children star in void:  Void means "void branch" here.  Void means "not there" or nothing.

5. Chart with children star entombed:  "Entombed" means hidden or lacking relationship with children.  For example, water is the children star for a female metal DM and there is no water element in her chart except a hidden gui-water in the Chen water tomb.

"Ken, my chart has some of the characteristics listed above.  Is there any remedy or things that I can do to increase my chance of conceiving a child?"

Yes, there are some simple  things that you can do.  Please refer to these:

Bazi: Will I be fat or obese?

"First of all, we need to find out the major reason that people gain weight in terms of medicine and Chinese metaphysics. Simply put,  other than bad eating habit, junk food and life style choices, obesity is due to an individual has an efficient and overworked digestive system.  In terms of Bazi, if a person has strong earth element or strong shi-shen (-output) in his chart, he is likely to have an efficient digestive system or strong appetite."

--- taken from the Bonus Chapter, "Weight loss through Bazi and Feng Shui" in "Applied Bazi: Sickness Forecasting and Management" Video course.

In other words, besides eating habit and life style, whether one will be obese or not is also determined by his/ her Bazi natal chart.

Generally speaking, if your chart has "shi-shen" (-ouput), you have the potential of getting obese.  "Shi-shen" literally means "eating god" in Chinese.

To find if you have any shi-shen in your chart, simply go to bazi-calculator.com and key in your birthday.  First you find your day-master element (day column) and use it to check for shi-shen elements (in any column) in your chart.  The more shi-shen you have, the higher the potential of you getting obese.

Shi-shen is regarded as the "blessing god" for good appetite, self-indulgence in food and enjoying life.  Hence,  daymasters with strong shi-shen tend to get fat easily.

The location of shi-shen also affect the probability of getting obese.  The closer a shi-shen is near DM, the likely DM will get obese.  Shi-shen is closest to DM when it sits in day branch, month stem or hour stem.  Because month branch determines the temperature of the whole chart, so if shi-shen sits on day branch, it is also considered "near" the DM.

If shi-shen is not strong in the natal chart but luck period/s make/s it strong, DM may become obese during those luck period/s.

Besides output stars, one must also look at other elements in his/ her natal chart to make prediction on the possibility of obesity.  For example, if there is a resource star to control the output star, then the obesity may not happen or at least under control.  There are other factors affecting obesity like the presence or absence of peer and wealth stars.  It will take another article to explain.
