2025 is the year of wooden-snake or Yi-Si in the Chinese zodiac. Yi is yin-wood and Si is yin-fire.

Annual luck reading is a bread-and-butter item for Bazi readers. Below is a quick demo of what to look for each of the 10-stems DM (daymaster) in an annual reading.

Unlike 2024 Jia-chen year with wood controlling earth, 2025 Yi-si is a mutual nurturing combination with wood nurturing fire.

10 DM ANNUAL LUCK PREDICTIONS WITH SI-FIRE

1. Jia/ Yi Wood DM: Si-fire is the output star (Shi-shen/ shang-guan)

Fire is unfavorable: sickness, depression, losing wealth
Fire is favorable: promotion, gaining wealth, new birth (baby)

2. Bing/ Ding Fire DM: Si-fire is the peer star (Bi-jian/ jie-cai)

This is a basic "generic" annual reading outline of all 10 possible DMs without explanations. You could use the same basic format to read other years too. You or your Bazi reader would add the explanations, remedies and enhancements for the client (detail of the reading depends on how much is charged). A more accurate reading should also integrate your client's current 10-year-luck and natal chart into the analysis.

Please be aware that when adding annual luck and 10YL to the natal chart for analysis, there are possibilities that the favorable/ unfavorable elements may change for the year! For example, if fire is the favorable element in the natal chart, by change both annual luck and 10YL bring in 4 fire elements into the system, fire may become unfavorable!

1. Log into www.bazi-calculator.com

2. In the right-side of the screen panel box, select "Ken Lai Method". No need to bother with anything else.

3. Key in your birthday and hour in the left side of the screen. Ignore the right side screen for "date to compare".

4. Click the "calculate" box to get results.

5. Scroll down the screen and see his Bazi chart in the left side with a table similar to the one here.
