Should you do "older woman and younger man romance"? 姐弟恋

"Jiě dì liàn" ("elder sister romance with a younger man") is the Chinese term for relationship between a man with an older woman. In America, this is called "cougar" dating younger man who are 6- 20 years younger. This type of romance is common among career women who have "missed" the prime time for relationship with the same age cohort due to putting priority on career over romance.

If you are one of these "older women" and want to try your romance luck with younger males, this article will help you find the "better" guy for success.

The info below is also good for men under 30 years old if they want to check their suitability of dating an older women.

This is done by checking the birth chart of the man who the older woman dates. Check his Bazi chart for the following characteristics:

Note: Go to the Appendix below to learn how to find the "daymaster" and "day-pillar" if you have no idea.

MALE CHART CHARACTERISTICS FOR ROMANCE WITH OLDER WOMAN

#1 ranked characteristic: Daymaster sitting on -power star (qi-sha)

Daymaster or DM means the birth chart owner which is the day-stem of the day-pillar in a chart. Where DM sits on is called "spouse palace" which reflects type of spouse the person will meet. Power star is authority figure in Bazi. -Power star (qi-sha) is like a dictator or a strict boss. A male with -power star sitting in spouse palace needs a tough boss to manage him. A mature and older woman is perfect to provide guidance for him. The day-pillars below have -power star sitting in spouse palace:

-Power day-pillars: Jia-shen, Wu-yin, Ji-mao, Ren-xu, Gui-wei, Ren-chen and Gui-chou

#2 ranked characteristic: Daymaster sitting on +power star (zheng-guan)

+ Power star is also an authority figure. Whereas -power star (qi-sha) is like a dictator or a strict boss, +power is like like a parent or teacher with good intentions and rule with softer approaches and good intentions. A male with +power star sitting in spouse palace needs a gentle parent to guide him. An older or sisterly woman is perfect for him. The day-pillars below have +power star sitting in spouse palace:

+Power day-pillars: Bing-zi, Ding-hai, Geng-wu and Xin-si

#3 ranked characteristic: Daymaster sitting on +resource star (zheng-yin)

+ Resource star is a nurturing or motherly figure or older woman. Man born in +resource day tends to be shy, kind and dependent. Hence a mature and older woman or motherly figure would fit him well. The day-pillars below have +resource star sitting in spouse palace:

+Resource day-pillars: Jia-zi, Yi-hai, Wu-wu and Ji-si

#4 ranked characteristic: Daymaster sitting on -resource star (pian-yin)

- Resource star is also a nurturing or motherly figure. Man born in -resource day tends to be cold, introvert with poor social skills. Hence a mature and sociable woman or motherly figure would help him integrate with society better. The day-pillars below have -resource star sitting in spouse palace:

-Resource day-pillars: Bing-yin, Ding-mao, Geng-chen, Geng-xu, Xin-wei, Xin-chou, Ren-shen and Gui-you.

Bazi of people with problems getting married 剩男剩女的八字

In 2018, I have written about "Secrets of Bachelor and Spinster Feng Shui".

Ken's Cyber Cave: Secrets of Bachelor and Spinster Feng Shui (kenlaifengshui.blogspot.com)

Today I discuss Bazi factors leading to problem getting married for both men and women.

1. Birth chart has no peach-blossom element (桃花): Zi, wu, mao and you are the four peach-blossom (PB) stars for romance and social networking. Missing this PB star means the person is not romantic or socially inactive.

2. Weak or no wealth star for male and power star for female: Wealth star is wife for male and power star husband for female in Bazi. When this star is weak or clashed, spouse is hard to come by.

3. Wealth star for male and power star for female is entombed: Wealth or power star entombed means spouse is put in storage and not accessible.

4. Strong peer stars for male: Peer stars jinx or "steal" wealth star (wife). Friends of the man "steal" or snatches his wife away.

5. Strong output stars for female: Output stars jinx power star (husband). The woman is too picky or demanding and scaring potential husband away.

6. Power or wealth star in void: Void means spouse is not there.

Consult a Bazi reader or take the following course for remedies:

Predicting when romance or marriage happens 天喜星和红鸾星

In terms of Bazi, when a female runs into power star (guan-sha) year and male runs into wealth star (cai) year, he or she has the high probability of romantic encounters or even marriage.

Another easy method for predicting romance is checking one's Chinese zodiac animal sign and his/ her "Red Phoenix 红鸾星" and "Celestial Celebration 天喜星" stars.

Red Phoenix Star relates to potential for formal marriage. Celestial Celebration Star is associated with a broad range of celebrations including marriage. The table below shows how to locate these two stars:

One has better chance of meeting the "right" partner when his or her Red Phoenix or Celestial Celebration Star runs into his/ her chart. For example, based on the above table, if your Chinese zodiac animal sign is rat, when the current year animal sign is rabbit or rooster, you have a good chance of meeting your potential partner or getting married.

If you want to know more about Bazi or if your partner is faithful or not, the following course gives you the most for your money:

Is the Year of Rabbit dangerous for you?

This question can be answered by checking your Bazi chart. Year 2023 is the year of water-rabbit or Gui-mao. If your chart has a pillar that is antagonistic or opposite to Gui-mao, it means you are battling the rulers of the year-- Gui-water is the "Year ruler" (歲君) and Mao-rabbit is the Grand Duke of the year.

Charts with the following pillars have the greatest "danger" because they are battling with the the year ruler and Grand Duke:

Ding-you (fire-rooster)
Ji-you (earth-rooster)

If any of these pillars is your day-pillar, it means the clash is on you or the daymaster! This could mean serious illness, injury or even death. You should very worry and careful if you are currently in-between 33- 48 years old.

If any of these pillars is your year-pillar, it means your parents or senior relatives may have issues this year.

If any of these pillars is your month-pillar, it means your siblings or parents may need to be cautious this year. If you are over 60 years old, clashing the month pillar is not a good sign because is considered as "the dam" of your chart.

If any of these pillars is your hour-pillar, your children may be in trouble.

Please check this link for the meanings of mao-you clash:

Ken's Cyber Cave: What Happens when Rabbit clashing Rooster 卯酉冲 (kenlaifengshui.blogspot.com)

Charts with the following pillars have the great "danger" because their branches penalizing Grand Duke and forming the infamous "Penalty of Impertinence"-- one of the three penalties. This penalty may involve disasters or losing wealth due to lust or improper relationship.

Jia-zi (wood-rat)
Bing-zi (fire-rat)
Wu-zi (earth-rat)
Geng-zi (metal-rat)
Ren-zi (water-rat)

Grand Duke Talisman charity drive 2023

This post is based on my past posts about "Grand Duke Talisman charity drive" with updates for 2023.

If you have read my old message about functions of Grand Duke, you know that there are two Grand Dukes watching over your shoulder, counting the good and bad deeds that you have done and executing rewards and misfortunes accordingly.

Our Grand Duke talismans are consecrated with the energy from Grand Duke and his mother Dou-mou (mother or commander of 60 Grand Dukes). Hopefully, our talismans will motivate Grand Duke to be easy and generous on you when his mother is around him.

Why do we ask for a charitable donation for this talisman? When your talisman is grounded with a charitable deed, GD is less likely to execute any misfortunes due from your karma account. The rationale for donation is an exchange of energy-- using a charitable deed in exchange of protection energy from Grand Duke. One cannot get something out of nothing.

2023 GRAND DUKE GENERAL PI-SHI 癸卯太歲皮时

2023 is Gui-mao or year of water-rabbit. Grand Duke for the year is General Pi-shi who was a military commander in Northern Wei Dynasty (386- 535).

DO YOU NEED A 2023 GRAND DUKE TALISMAN?

For 2023, five groups of people need Grand Duke Talismans:

1. "Fu-yin" or same animal sign of Grand Duke 值太岁-- people with rabbit sign

Birth years: 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011
Symptoms: obstacles, stagnation or running "reverse" instead of forward and not suitable for travels.

2. "Fan-yin" or "clashing" the animal sign of Grand Duke 冲太岁-- people with rooster sign

Birth years: 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017
Symptoms: big fluctuations in luck, accident, sickness, surgery, losing competitions/wealth, moving, death, changing job

3. "Hai" or "harming" the animal sign of Grand Duke 害太岁-- people with dragon sign

Birth years: 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012
Symptoms: interpersonal relationship problems, negative romance, marital problem, backstabbing

4. "Po" or "breaking" the animal sign of Grand Duke 破太岁-- -- people with horse sign

Birth years: 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014
Symptoms: backstabbing at work, over-consumption, no luck in non-regular income like gambling/ stock and success slips away in the last minute

5. "Xing" or "penalizing" the animal sign of Grand Duke 刑太岁---- people with rat sign

Birth years: 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020
Symptoms: big fluctuations in luck, wealth, career, relationship and health; traffic accident, sickness, surgery, losing competitions/wealth, moving, death, negative romance, quarrels and etc.

GRAND DUKE TALISMAN FOR FENG SHUI REMEDY

House violating Grand Duke
In 2023 Gui-mao year, if your house faces mao-rabbit mountain or E2 (82.5- 97.5 degree) direction, your house is said to be "violating Grand Duke." House violating GD will affect the overall luck, health and well-being of the people living inside. The remedy is either avoiding movements, construction, earth-digging and demolition there or put up a Grand Duke talisman facing NE3 direction. The opposite side of Grand Duke is Year-breaker (Sui-po, W2 or You mountain). This location should avoid digging and activities too.

Even with the GD talisman, if you need to do construction, you still need to do a date-selection for an auspicious date and start digging on a non-GD direction and finish last on the GD direction.

Desk violating Grand Duke

If your desk or wherever you sit for an extended time faces Mao-rabbit mountain or E2 direction, you can put up a Grand Duke talisman there for protection. It is not auspicious to face the Grand Duke direction. It weakens your competition power in business/career and examinations. However, if you arrange your seat so that E2 will be at your back (and put a Grand Duke talisman there), you will get Grand Duke as support and is good for competition and business.

GRAND DUKE TALISMAN OFFERS
This year we use digital delivery of Grand Duke Talismans because "snail mail" is slow and prone to losses. Ken Lai will create a GD Talisman, blessed and "activated" on screen digitally. This activated GD file will be emailed to you with notes. You can print as many copies as you want (but for one unique-named person only). In this way, you can replace soiled or damaged talismans. You can carry one talisman in your wallet and post one in your home and/or office for Feng Shui remedy. You get more "mileage" from a single donation this way.

Below are some charities that you can send your donation to. But you can always support your local charities like food-shelf or soup kitchens, especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

homeless shelter
Save-the-Children (www.savethechildren.org)
UNICEF (United Nation Children's Fund)
Smile Train (www.smiletrain.org)
children hospital
food shelves/soup kitchen
Red Cross
animal shelter/ humane society
Doctors without border (https://donate.doctorswithoutborders.org/onetime.cfm)
Your local COVID-19 pandemic charity.

Donation made to help alleviate an urgent human/ animal need or suffering (e.g., feeding the hungry, tornado/ typhoon victims or homeless) gets you more karma credits than donation for public good or improvement of public life like church/ temple or public radio/TV.

If you are worried about privacy issues and future solicitations-- please be assured that no future solicitation or email will be sent to you in the future. You send me NO money. You send your donation directly to your favorite local or international charity. No purchase involved. This offer is for people who have no access to Daoist temples. Please support your local temple if you have access to one.

SUGGESTED DONATION (same old 2010 pricing!)

If you need more than one Grand Duke Talismans, here is the discount schedule:

--one talisman US$30 donation (US$5 if you are unemployed/under-employed)
--two talismans US$50 donation ($10 if unemployed/under-employed )
--three talismans US$60 donation ($15 if unemployed/under-employed )

You may go to www.xe.com to calculate the equivalent of US$30 to your local currency.

NOTE: People from countries with annual personal income per capita income below US$8000.00 can use the "under-employed and unemployed rate".

NO MONEY? NO PROBLEM

Simply perform an act of kindness like visit a senior citizen, feed a homeless animal, buy a meal for the hungry, tutor a needy student-- any help or emotional support to all living being and the like can be a substitute of a monetary donation. Email me what you have done (great if you show photo, but not compulsory) and I shall email you the talisman.

Talisman that is grounded with a charitable event works more effectively because it has an exchange of one type of energy for protection energy.

To claim your talismans and application instructions, please forward your donation receipt with the talisman recipient names and gender info to kenlai88@yahoo.com with the following info:

With traditional Bazi, there is not much you can do when you see “bad luck” coming as forewarned by your Bazi chart. The “old” way of destiny management was “sitting tight”, avoid taking risks or traveling during a “low luck” period. This course will change the dynamics of luck and misfortune management.

Main objectives of this course:

Predict upcoming good luck and misfortune and enhance or mitigate its effects using methods presented in this course.
If misfortune has already happened, we try to limit or mitigate its effects with the tools and techniques included in this course.

The methods employed in this course are based on Bazi, Feng Shui, Yi-jing and other metaphysical methods. Remedies and enhancements are inexpensive and readily available in our daily environment. No religious belief is required though such belief may help.

The first edition of this course was released in 2009 with the title "Destiny and Luck Management: Basic/ Advanced Bazi Therapy".
