Babies with a 4-rabbits chart

Babies born in this upcoming March 10 from 5-7am (2023) will have a quad-rabbits chart (click pix to enlarge):

Chart with 4 identical branches has a major or even fatal disadvantage-- when one branch is clashed by a luck period, like in this case, when rooster or You year arrives, all branches will be clashed and shaken the chart to the core.

When all the branches of a chart are clashed, it implies major misfortune or even death.

Mao-you clash usually involves negative romance or sexual scandal.  If not, traffic accident or surgery due to wood and metal battling.

4 rabbits or Mao-wood has an additional major disadvantage that may be worse than mao-you clash.  When rat or Zi year comes, 4 zi-mao penalties will be formed which is one of the 3-penalties, known as "Penalty of Ingratitude".  Some teachers think this penalty is more severe than clashes.

Is the Year of Rabbit dangerous for you?

This question can be answered by checking your Bazi chart.  Year 2023 is the year of water-rabbit or Gui-mao.  If your chart has a pillar that is antagonistic or opposite to Gui-mao, it means you are battling the rulers of the year-- Gui-water is the "Year ruler" (歲君) and Mao-rabbit is the Grand Duke of the year.

Charts with the following pillars have the greatest "danger" because they are battling with the the year ruler and Grand Duke:

• Ding-you  (fire-rooster)
• Ji-you  (earth-rooster)

If any of these pillars is your day-pillar, it means the clash is on you or the daymaster!  This could mean serious illness, injury or even death.  You should very worry and careful if you are currently in-between 33- 48 years old.

If any of these pillars is your year-pillar, it means your parents or senior relatives may have issues this year.

If any of these pillars is your month-pillar, it means your siblings or parents may need to be cautious this year.   If you are over  60 years old, clashing the month pillar is not a good sign because is considered as "the dam" of your chart.

If any of these pillars is your hour-pillar,  your children may be in trouble.

Please check this link for the meanings of mao-you clash:

Ken's Cyber Cave: What Happens when Rabbit clashing Rooster 卯酉冲 (kenlaifengshui.blogspot.com)

Charts with the following pillars have the great "danger" because their branches penalizing Grand Duke and forming the infamous "Penalty of Impertinence"-- one of the three penalties.  This penalty may involve disasters or losing wealth due to lust or improper relationship.

• Jia-zi  (wood-rat)
• Bing-zi  (fire-rat)
• Wu-zi  (earth-rat)
• Geng-zi  (metal-rat)
• Ren-zi  (water-rat)

Birth Chart Characteristics of Depression 抑郁症

Bazi chart characteristics of people with depression are:

1.  Favorable element is restricted or does not appear in the stem level.  This is prone to depression or even death.

2.  Chart has many penalties, self-penalties or 3-penalties, is prone to depression.

3.  Chart with strong unfavorable resource elements (zheng-yin/ pian-yin) is prone to depression.

4.  Weak daymaster (the chart owner) with strong unfavorable elements are prone to depression.

5.  Chart that is too "cold" (lacks fire) or too "wet" (too much water) means lacking "yang energy",  is prone to depression.

5.  Chart that has shortage of favorable elements with all yin pillars, is prone to depression.

6.  Chart that has too much yang energy causing yin-yang imbalance, especially with wet and cold energies clashing yang energy, is prone to depression.

7.  Chart with unfavorable elements close to the daymaster whereas favorable elements are far away, is prone to depression.

8.  Chart with strong metal and shortage of fire to control metal, is prone to depression.

9.  Chart with daymaster sitting on yang-knife (i.e. -peer/ jie-cai) which is unfavorable, is prone to depression when running into unfavorable 10-years-luck period.

Depression is treatable with psychological counselling and more importantly, understanding and help from people around the patient.

Alec Baldwin's prop gun accident and 3-penalties

On Oct. 21, 2021 around 1- 2 pm, Alec Baldwin had accidentally killed his cinematographer and injured the director with a prop gun on the movie set of "Rust" in California.  Below are the astrological data for this analysis:

• Current year: 2021 Year of Ox (Year Ruler or Grand Duke is Ox or Chou)
• Current Month:  Xu or Dog month
• Alec Baldwin was born in 1958 (63 years old), the Year of Dog or Xu.  Dog "penalizes" Ox in Chinese astrology, so Alec "penalizes" the Grand Duke of 2021.  This usually means obstacles and misfortune.
• Director Joel Souza was born in 1973 (48 years old), the Year of Ox or Chou.  Joel has the same animal sign of Grand Duke of 2021.  This is called "violating" Grand Duke.  This usually means obstacles, illness and bad luck.
• Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was born in 1979 (42 years old), the Year of Ram or Wei.  Ram clashes Ox in Chinese astrology.  This is called "clashing Grand Duke" and usually means bad luck, sickness, injury or even death.

You may notice the people involved in this tragedy have the Chinese zodiac animal signs that form a "dog-ox-ram" or Xu-Chou-Wei 3-penalties in Chinese astrology.

Now let's look at the day chart when the accident had happened:

The incident had happened when the day chart has all the Xu-Chou-Wei 3-penalties element present!  The victims' animal signs also form the same 3-penalties.  This case study also shows "clashing Grand Duke" is more serious than other forms of interaction with Grand Duke.  People who were born in 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003 and 2015 are "clashing Grand Duke" for 2021.

Another lesson here is avoiding gathering of people with animal signs that will form a 3-penalties with the current Grand Duke, especially when the day chart also has the same 3-penalties elements.

RIP Halyna Hutchins

Bazi: Is 2021 Year of Metal-ox good or bad for you?

2021 Xin-chou (metal-ox) year will arrive next Feb. 3 at 23:01 pm.  According to the ancient "Mother Earth Classic", metal-ox year will be a much better year than 2020 metal-rat year.  Metal-ox year will have great harvests and no major natural disasters. But there will be some minor plagues.

Chou-ox clashing wei-ram is wet earth clashing hot earth creating bigger or stronger earth.  In terms of likely illnesses induced due to this clash are digestive and skin related.

How about your Bazi luck?  Here I generically discuss the major chart features that would create fortunes misfortunes for people.

BAZY CHART FEATURES THAT YOU SHOULD WORRY ABOUT IN 2021

People who were born in the year of Ram (1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015):  This means the year branch is clashed.  This is usually called "clashing Tai Sui or Grand Duke".

People who were born in 1955 (yi-wei, wood-ram) and 1967 (ding-wei, fire-ram):  This means the year pillar is fan-yin or the whole pillar is clashed from stem to branch. Parents or older relative may suffer.

Chart with yi-wei (wood-ram) or (ding-wei, fire-ram) in the month pillar:  This means the month pillar is fan-yin or the whole month pillar is clashed from stem to branch.  This usually jinxes the parents if chart owner (daymaster or DM) is under 60 years old.  If DM  is 60 or older, it has the possibility becoming the end signal of life because this is regarded as "clashing the dam".

Chart with yi-wei (wood-ram) or (ding-wei (fire-ram) in the day pillar:  This means the day pillar is fan-yin or the whole day pillar is clashed from stem to branch.   This means DM or DM's spouse may suffer major mishaps or separation.

Chart with yi-wei (wood-ram) or (ding-wei (fire-ram) in the hour pillar:  This means the hour pillar is fan-yin or the whole month pillar is clashed from stem to branch.   This means DM's children may suffer some mishaps.  If DM is female, she may suffer some reproductive related illnesses.

Chart already has wei-ram and xu-dog in the branches:  Adding this annual chou-ox will form a dreadful "3-penalties" to the system.  This is usually negative most of the time unless earth is favorable in the chart.  Serious illness or accident are more likely to DM's close relative or DM.

Chart with hai-pig and zi-rat AND or weak ding/ bing DM (or weak fire element in chart):  The addition of chou-ox forms a strong hai-zi-chou 3-meetings water combination that may extinguish the fire in the system.  This could be major fire-related illness (like heart or blood illness) or even death if this is a fire DM.

Chart with si-snake and you-rooster AND or weak jia/ yi DM (or weak wood element in chart):  The addition of chou-ox forms a strong si-you-chou 3-unities metal combination that may extinguish the wood in the system.  This could be major wood-related illness and accident (like liver/ gallbladder and traffic accident) or even death if this is a wood DM.

GOOD NEWS FOR CERTAIN GROUPS OF PEOPLE?

Chou-ox clashing wei-ram is not always negative.  It all depends on your Bazi chart composition.  Wei is the tomb or storage of wood element.  This fact gives some positive news for the following:

Metal DM (Geng and Xin-metal):  For metal DM, wei-earth is their wealth storage or tomb.  When it is "clashed open" by chou-earth, it could mean unlocking the hidden wealth s/he has.  Male metal DM has an extra bonus-- he or suddenly gets married after being single or widowed for ages.  This is due to wealth element also means spouse for male.

Earth DM (Ji and Wu-earth):  For female earth DM, wei-earth is their power storage or tomb.  Power star stands for husband.  When it is "clashed open" by chou-earth, it could mean unlocking the hidden husband that she has and suddenly getting married after being single or widowed for ages.

Water DM (Wu and Gui-water):  For female water DM, wei-earth is her output storage or tomb.  Output star stands for children.  If this female DM has problem conceiving, she has better chance of giving birth to a baby this year  this "child storage" is "clashed open" by chou-earth.

Charts with earth being favorable:  (1). When wei-earth clashing chou-earth, it means more earth in the system.  It is positive for chart which likes earth.  But this clash may also clash open "dirty laundries" hidden in chou and wei-earth like illegitimate child or mistress too. (2)  If chart forms chou-xu-wei 3-penalties and earth is favorable, DM may get major promotion or becomes famous overnight.

Do not panic if your Bazi chart has the feature listed above because this discussion only looks at the effect of annual luck metal-ox and  does NOT take into consideration of the dynamic of your whole Bazi chart, especially the effect of your current 10-years-luck.   You need to consult a Bazi reader to ascertain if your chart has problems or great news this year.

If you want to enhance or fix for the above conditions, consult a Bazi reader or take my courses in:

2021 Grand Duke Talisman Charity Drive

This post is based on my past posts about "Grand Duke Talisman charity drive" with updates for 2021.

If you have read my old message about functions of Grand Duke, you know that there are two Grand Dukes watching over your shoulder, counting the good and bad deeds that you have done and executing rewards and misfortunes accordingly.  When your talisman is grounded with a charitable deed, GD is less likely to execute any misfortunes due from your karma account. The rationale for donation is exchange of energy-- using a charitable deed in exchange of protection energy from Grand Duke.

2021 GRAND DUKE GENERAL YANG XIN  辛丑太岁杨信

2021 is Xin-chou or year of metal-ox. Grand Duke for the year is General Yang Xin who was a civil officer in Han Dynasty (206 B.C .to - 220 A.D.).  Yang was venerated for defending the dignity of the Han Government when he was a special envoy to the Huns  (Xiongnu, 匈奴) in 116 B.C .

2021辛丑牛年，当值太岁的形象是杨信，汉时生于陕地（今陕西省一带）。生卒不详。元鼎年间（公元前116-公元前111年），杨信一代文臣，出使匈奴。刚强正直，不屈不挠，留下美名。

DO YOU NEED A 2021  GRAND DUKE TALISMAN?

Five groups of people who need Grand Duke Talismans:

1. "Fu-yin" or same animal sign of Grand Duke 值太岁-- people with OX sign

• Birth years: 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021
• Symptoms: obstacles, stagnation or running "reverse" instead of forward and not suitable for travels.

2. "Fan-yin" or "clashing" the animal sign of Grand Duke 冲太岁-- people with RAM sign

• Birth years: 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015
• Symptoms: big fluctuations in luck, accident, sickness, surgery, losing competitions/wealth, moving, death, changing job

3.  "Hai" or "harming" the animal sign of Grand Duke 害太岁-- people with HORSE sign

• Birth years: 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014
• Symptoms: interpersonal relationship problems, negative romance, marital problem, backstabbing

4. "Po" or "breaking" the animal sign of Grand Duke 破太岁-- -- people with DRAGON sign

• Birth years: 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964,  1976, 1988, 2000, 2012
• Symptoms: backstabbing at work, over-consumption, no luck in non-regular income like gambling/ stock and success slips away in the last minute

5.  "Xing" or "penalizing" the animal sign of Grand Duke 刑太岁---- people with RAM or DOG sign

• Birth years (DOG): 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018
• Birth years (RAM): 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015
• Symptoms: big fluctuations in luck, wealth, career, relationship and health; traffic accident, sickness, surgery, losing competitions/wealth, moving, death,  negative romance, quarrels and etc.

SPECIAL NOTE:   "3-penalties" is formed when a chart has ox (chou), ram (wei) and dog (xu).  Serious misfortune such as major accident/ illness, losing wealth or even death may occur.

GRAND DUKE TALISMAN FOR FENG SHUI REMEDY
If your house faces Chou mountain or NE1 direction, you need to put up a Grand Duke talisman facing that direction and avoid construction, earth-digging and demolition there.

If your desk or wherever you sit for an extended time faces Chou mountain or NE1 direction, you can put up a Grand Duke talisman there for protection.  It is not auspicious to face the Grand Duke direction.  It weakens your competition power in business/career and examinations.  However, if you arrange your seat so that NE1 will be at your back (and put a Grand Duke talisman there), you will get Grand Duke as support and is good for competition and business.

House violating Grand Duke
In 2021 Xin-chou year, if your house faces chou-ox mountain or NE1 (22.5 to 37.5 degree) direction, your house is said to be "violating Grand Duke."  House violating GD will affect the overall luck, health and well-being of the people living inside.  The remedy is either avoiding movements, construction, earth-digging and demolition there or put up a Grand Duke talisman facing NE1 direction.  The opposite side of Grand Duke is Year-breaker (Sui-po, SW1 or wei mountain).  This location should avoid digging and activities too.

Even with the GD talisman, if you need to do construction, you still need to do a date-selection for an auspicious date and start digging on a non-GD direction and finish last on the GD direction.

Desk violating Grand Duke
If your desk or wherever you sit for an extended time faces chou-rat mountain or NE1 direction, you can put up a Grand Duke talisman there for protection.  It is not auspicious to face the Grand Duke direction.  It weakens your competition power in business/career and examinations. However, if you arrange your seat so that NE1 will be at your back (and put a Grand Duke talisman there), you will get Grand Duke as support and is good for competition and business.

GRAND DUKE TALISMAN OFFERS
This year we use digital delivery of Grand Duke Talismans because "snail mail" is slow and prone to losses.  Ken Lai will create a GD Talisman with user name, city and country imprinted, blessed and "activated" individually on screen digitally.  This unique activated GD file will be emailed to you.  You can print as many copies as you want (but for one unique-named person only).  In this way, you can replace soiled or damaged talismans.  You can carry one talisman in your wallet and post one in your home and/or office for Feng Shui remedy.  You get more "mileage" from a single donation this way.

Below are some charities that you can send your donation to.  But you can always support your local charities like food-shelf or soup kitchens, especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

• homeless shelter
• Save-the-Children (www.savethechildren.org)
• UNICEF (United Nation Children's Fund)
• Smile Train (www.smiletrain.org)
• children hospital
• food shelves/soup kitchen
• Red Cross
• animal shelter/ humane society
• Doctors without border (https://donate.doctorswithoutborders.org/onetime.cfm)
• Your local COVID-19 pandemic charity.

Donation made to help alleviate an urgent human/ animal need or suffering (e.g., feeding the hungry, tornado/ typhoon victims or homeless) gets you more karma credits than donation for public good or improvement of public life like church/ temple or public radio/TV.

If you are worried about privacy issues and future solicitations-- please be assured that no future solicitation or email will be sent to you in the future. You send me NO money. You send your donation directly to your favorite local or international charity.  No purchase involved.  This offer is for people who have no access to Daoist temples.  Please support your local temple if you have access to one.

Why major fortune and misfortune happened within the same year?

Note:  The case study below is an exercise for my Bazi group members

The birth of a baby is considered a celebration.  Death is a major misfortune.  Both were happened within the same year for the female below.

This woman was pregnant with her second child in 2013 (gi-si).  The first born is a girl.  Her husband was killed by 2 cars sandwiching his car in a traffic accident before the birth of his second baby boy in 2013.

The Bazi chart of this woman is as follow:

Female born:  Feb. 19, 1980, Mao hour

YEAR: Geng-shen

MONTH:  Wu-yin

DAY:  Ren-xu

HOUR:  Gui-mao

void branch:  zi/ chou

10-YEAR-LUCK

1984  ding-chou

1994  bing-zi

2004  yi-hai

2014  jia-xu

Husband had died during

10-YEARS LUCK:  Yi-hai  (2004- 2013)

Annual Luck:  Gui-si (2013)

Annual luck-month: Xin-you  (2013)

Does this woman's chart show any clue about her husband's death?

Question for "Destiny and Luck Management" course members:  Was it possible to prevent this death?

Hints:

• Which element represents children star in this chart?
• Which element represents husband star in this chart?
• Penalties

FREE ANNUAL ASTROLOGY/ BAZI GUIDE
People born in 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002 and 2014 with horse animal sign clash Grand Duke this year.  This could mean:

• moving
• promotion or demotion
• major illness
• travels
• funeral
• accident/ death

Actually people with wu (horse) day-branch in their Bazi charts are in more danger than animal sign clashing Grand Duke.  They are:  Jia-wu, bing-wu, wu-wu, geng-wu, and ren-wu day pillars.  Day-branch stands for spouse palace.  This may mean marital problems (if married, spouse may leave or die) but also means getting married if single.  Zi and wu are both peach-blossom elements, so the probability of affairs is pretty high.  If it is not affair, traffic accidents are likely to happen.

In fact, any Bazi chart with Jia-wu, bing-wu, wu-wu, geng-wu, and ren-wu pillars in any pillar of their Bazi chart have some troubles in terms of the family members each pillar represents.  To find if your chart has any one of these pillars, key in your birthday here:

People with Jia-wu and Bing-wu  day-pillars in their Bazi charts better pray more because their day-pillar fanyin Grand Duke (clashing 2020 Grand Duke from stem to branch).  This could mean major sickness, accident or disaster to the person or his/her spouse.  Avoid taking risks/ major decisions, attending funeral, visiting the sick in hospitals and unnecessary travels for this year of rat (2/4/2020- 2/2/2021).

Similarly, people with mao or rabbit animal sign in any of their pillars (including luck pillars) need to be more careful because mao and zi form a penalty.  It is one of the 3 penalties (yin-si-shen, xu-chou-wei and zi-mao).  The worst one is at the day-branch because it affects the daymaster (DM) or his/her spouse.  Zi-mao penalty may involve affairs resulting in losing wealth or lawsuit, accidents and legal problems.

If your chart already has wu, mao and you in the natal chart or with the luck pillars-- be very careful this year because your annual luck brings the zi to form zi-wu-mao-you 4-cardinal clash.  It is like 4 forty-feet container trucks hitting you from four directions.  Consult your Bazi reader or take these courses:
