Frankenstein Feng Shui or Pure Bred Feng Shui

My student asks me this question that probably most of the Feng Shui students want to know but are afraid to ask:

"What are your thoughts when it comes to having several Feng Shui techniques/ schools of thought in a practitioner's toolkit when selecting or auditing a house? Is it more advisable to use one technique/ lineage/ school over others, or use a combination -- for example,  some masters screen using 8 mansions first, then combine with flying stars etc. Does combining or using a single li-qi (formula) technique make any difference."

Here is my translation of this long question in one sentence:  Which one is better--  Frankenstein vs. pure bred Feng Shui approach?

FRANKENSTEIN FENG SHUI
The classic western movie "Frankenstein" is about a mad scientist who had created a monster out of body parts from different corpses.

Frankenstein Feng Shui is the application of 2 or more Feng Shui schools techniques in a Feng Shui audit.  The most common one is mixing of Flying Stars and Bazhai (8-mansions) Feng Shui in an audit.

On the positive side, if the practitioner knows the specialty or strong points of each Feng Shui school, s/he may apply, for example:  Bazhai in kitchen, San He for bed arrangement, XKDG for door, Flying Star for wealth enhancement,... and the like.

On the negative side, some practitioners do not really understand the Feng Shui schools and haphazardly apply different Feng Shui schools techniques in their audits.  For example, I have seen quite a few "tilt it again Sam" doors in Malaysia and Singapore.  Some "masters" set up two doors at different angles in a house or business.  The first door is tilted for the auspicious Bazhai angle and the second door for Flying Star.  It is as if the qi entering the premise is "smart" and can distinguish the first door is for Bazhai, second door for Flying Star Feng Shui and "behave" accordingly.

PURE BRED FENG SHUI
"Pure bred" here means loosely as "one school only".  In reality, there is really no pure bred Feng Shui because most Feng Shui schools "borrow" something from others.  For example, the popular Flying Star has more than 10+ variations, so is Bazhai.

Is pure bred better than Frankenstein Feng Shui?  The answer is both "yes" and "no".

Every Feng Shui system has its own peculiar properties that works well with certain land forms, like some methods work better with mountain regions while others with flat-land or river regions.  Hence when there is a match between land form and a pure bred Feng Shui School, the results will be great.  If not, the opposite happens.

SEMI-PURE BRED OR VOTING FENG SHUI
In this brand of Feng Shui, the practitioner employs one Feng Shui school only, but takes references to other schools' judgment on each Feng Shui sector.  For example, if Flying Star thinks this door location is great but Bazhai says it sucks and IF this practitioner only considers two school (one + and one minus), this location still "usable" or "OK".  If both schools agree that this location is bad, then remedy is sought or not using this location.  If both schools think this location is great, then this location must be very good.

"Ken, what is your position on this topic?"

Before I put on a Frankenstein or pure bred hat (I should market a "Make Feng Shui Great Again" hat),  I check the Bazi or 4-pillars chart of the client first.  If s/he is in good luck period, I will tell him just pick whatever house s/he likes and fire the Feng Shui guy (me).

If client is in average or low luck period,  I would use Form Feng Shui first.  Formula Feng Shui will not work if the forms are not there!  If the forms look good with the 4-animals and right forms, the Feng Shui of that property should not be bad.

I would cherry-pick the best feature of different Feng Shui schools.  "Fran-ken-stein" has my name inside.

"Ken, you sound like pushing your Feng Shui courses by advocating Frankenstein Feng Shui."

You are so smart.  If you can only afford one Feng Shui course, take the "Advanced Visual Form Feng Shui" listed below.  Feng Shui teachers can cheat you with formula Feng Shui because you cannot see li-qi or formula.  Form Feng Shui is what you see is what you get-- everyone can see forms like mountains and rivers.

Feng Shui books and Feng Shui Schools

One corner of Ken Lai's metaphysics library
Recently I find an article on the Chinese web recommending some Feng Shui books for students.  It is interesting to me because the author has categorized these books under 14 different Feng Shui schools or "pai".

There are numerous "flavors" of Xuan-Kong Feng Shui.  The Xuan-Kong Flying Star Feng Shui practiced in the West are mostly originated from Zhang Zhong-shan Wu-Chang School.

Other than the ancient classics, most of the contemporary books are published in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

I also have about 70% of the books from this list.

WHAT IS “DATE-SELECTION”?

Note:  The following is an excerpt from the manual of "Practical Date-Selection Methods" video course.  The passage is written by co-author Master Lee.

WHAT IS “DATE-SELECTION”?
It is the process of selecting of a date and time that provide beneficial energy to our intended activities.

There are many schools for date-selection. It is likely that the more you learn about date-selection, the more bad days you will run into.

In truth, the date that affects you without your doing anything is based on the four pillars chart of the date. This is the dominant time energy that affects us all, based on our birth particulars. Most other methods require the human qi to activate them.

Date-selection can be related to Feng Shui. Feng Shui without the human qi is purely earth luck. It is about the natural accumulation of qi. Without the human component, this qi has no purpose, and therefore it is neither “good” nor “bad” until people move in.

In date-selection, we tap into the time energy that is naturally there. Some time energy rises and falls, affecting people in different ways based on their 4-Pillars and physical conditions. With other time, it may require a clear intention (whether it is taking a specific action, or just doing mental programming) to activate.

Xuan Kong Da Gua (XKDG) date-selection is strongly related to the I-Ching and the 64 hexagrams. By tapping into the energy of 64 hexagrams, we can modulate and modify the energies coming through. This can happen automatically, but the effect may be weak without the human qi (intention, mind and action) component.

Time energy is also related to space. At certain times, certain locations and directions become auspicious. We can tap into these auspicious locations and directions as well, using human qi.

An auspicious date-selection can enhance a Feng Shui job or at least reduce or delay the negative effects of a lousy Feng Shui placement.

Another function of date-selection is to "reboot" a failing activity (like a business) by "restarting" the activity in an auspicious date and time.

By and large, it is best if the four pillars (of the date and user), XKDG and direction-location energies coincide. However, if it is not possible, then at least two can make it usable.

Date-selection is one of the many vehicles you can use in your evolution to a higher level of Chinese metaphysics. It opens up the energy at a fundamental level and offers you opportunities for turning your life around.

The Latest Feng Shui Hammer-- Tilt-O-matic?

In my 2007 blog article "Feng Shui Hammer and Xuan Kong Flying Stars", I had written:

"If you give a kid a hammer, pretty soon he will try to do everything with a hammer...In the Feng Shui world today, the Feng Shui hammer is Xuan Kong Flying Stars (Feng Shui). To some people, XK Feng Shui is the universal key to any Feng Shui problem."

Six years later, I have discovered a new trend for another version of "Feng Shui Hammer" that is not restricted to one Feng Shui school or method.

This "hammer" generalizes the Feng Shui remedy of door-tilting to different aspects of Feng Shui. I call this method "tilt-O-matic" because its core method is tilting anything towards the so-called "auspicious qi" or angle.

Door-tilting itself is no major secret and easy to understand-- if your door sits on an inauspicious angle, you tilt it to the nearest available auspicious angle.  Ideally the nearest angle to the current one will match the requirements for as many Feng Shui methods (like Bazhai, San-He, XKDG and etc.) as possible.

In certain southeastern Asian countries where large population of ethnic Chinese reside, you can see tilted doors easily.  My Feng Shui pals in these countries told me that door-tilting is almost a must in any Feng Shui audit or your clients will think they don't get their money's worth.

The next derivative from door-tilting is stove-tilting, used mainly in Bazhai Feng Shui.

Some inventive folks out there bring out the "tilt-around-the-house" motto and generalize this method to tilt balcony doors, sliding doors, apartment doors, doors inside a house or office or even tilt a balcony-- applying tilting to whatever Feng Shui methods like Flying Star, XKDG and the like.

Their next top secret invention probably will be tilting house windows and maybe even garden walls. I guess toilet seat, fridge door, bath tub and water basin are all fair games for them.

"Ken, how valid is this tilting approach?"

I don't know when I do not get paid to answer or argue for controversial topics like this one.  But I can tell you that when I visit many ancient towns and villages in China, including the emperor's home (Forbidden City), I have not seen a tilted door yet.

I have seen tilted doors that were done in the last 10- 20 years in China and Hong Kong.

Chinese Feng Shui emphasizes balance and symmetry.  Anything tilted will disrupt the balance state. Tilting does not seem to match these basic Feng Shui principles.

In Feng Shui, main door represent the mouth of a house.  A tilted door is like a person with a crooked mouth.  It is the "form" for stroke resulting in a crooked mouth.

There are teachers who swear by the tilted door remedy and also the ones who are apprehensive of door-tilting.  My own sifu are mostly against using it for aesthetic and safety reasons.  Non-residential buildings probably can have tilted doors because people do not stay there longer than 8- 10 hours and likely are moving around.  My sifu do not recommend tilting door for residential properties because people sleep there at night and absorb whatever qi coming in.

On a psychological level, a tilted door is a constant reminder to the residents that "this is an auspicious door that will bring me good luck". This daily positive affirmation will enhance the intention power of the residents to make things "happen".

"Ken, do you do door-tilting Feng Shui remedy?"

Yes, I do "green tilting" that does no damage to the wall or environment and does not need a carpenter. However, I do it only when there is no alternative.

"Can you elaborate?  Does it work?"

Sorry, I cannot elaborate. This is a little secret in my school. Somehow it works too.

Annual Predictions DIY

Have you ever wondered how those masters or non-masters make their annual predictions? Today is your lucky day-- you will find out you can do it too--- no Chinese metaphysics courses needed to take from me or other masters.  Of course, it helps if you have knowledge of Chinese metaphysics.

Most of the annual predictions focus on these areas:
Disasters-- natural or man-made disasters like tsunami, earthquake, flooding, drought, snowstorm, tornado, tropical storms, epidemics, nuclear accidents, war, train accidents, terrorist attacks, air disasters, cruise ship sinking ....(hints: earthquake is likely in  the "rings of fire" region; war in the middle east... throw a dart to a world map if you can't make up your mind)
Economy-- stock market, housing market, FOREX, oil market.... (hints: either up or down or "up a little bit or down a little bit"; pretty easy to predict!)
Politics-- who gets or loses power (hint: don't make  50/50 chance prediction like the USA presidential election.  A bad guess will make you look like an idiot and correct one will not win you anything)
People-- mostly celebrities or politicians; who cheats, marries, divorces, scandals...etc.

COMMON TOOLS FOR MAKING PREDICTIONS
Gut-feeling : Simply make any guesses or "educated guesses" based on past year statistics.  Isn't this easy?
Psychic reading: People who are psychic or think they are psychic make predictions based on their "psychic feeling". You may even use what you have dreamed.
Divinations: For people who are not psychic, they may use Yi-Jing, Xuan-Kong-Da-Gua, Plum-Flower and similar divination methods to make predictions down to individual month or even days.
Bazi of the New year:  This method requires knowledge of Bazi (4-Pillars).  You find out the exact date and hour when the New Year kicks in and generate a 4-pillars chart.  This treats the new year as if it is a person and make predictions or telling stories based on the combinations and clashes in the chart.
Animal sign of the New Year:  This method creates a story based on the animal sign of the new year. For example, 2012 is ren-chen or water-dragon year.  The story-telling part will be concentrated on the personality and characteristics of dragon and its water nature.  So you may hear about flooding stories.
Annual chart based on 9-stars: this method is used mostly in Feng Shui predictions.  For example, 5-yellow disaster star flies to southeast for 2012, so major disasters are likely to happen in the southeast, especially when monthly 5-star flies there.
Qi-Men-Dun-Jia Year Chart:  Predictions can also be made based on QMDJ, but it is not common to see.  It is pretty good at predicting Feng Shui problems.
Scavenger method:  If you can't think or don't want to think, you can "improvise" on other's predictions.  This method summarizes or pick-and-choose the predictions made by other people.  The disadvantage of this method is that you lose the bragging right of being the first to make the prediction.  The advantage is that you can make the most comprehensive predictions.

It is  rare that "masters" utilize only one method to make predictions.  They use combinations of the above methods to "enrich" or throw out more predictions.  When one throws out 100+ predictions, a few of them will "hit".  "Masters" can brag about how accurate their predictions were the following year (never mind or mention the ones they have missed).

Compare with economic predictions, astrologers are doing pretty well.  The late economist John Kenneth Galbraith wrote:

"The only function of economic forecasting is to make astrology look respectable."

"Ken, I have not seen you make any annual predictions."

I do not want to make economists feel good.  Besides, predicting disasters will generate mass negative manifestations.  It is bad karma for everyone.

Happy Year of Dragon!

FIGHTING-SHA OR AVOIDING SHA?

Note:  The following article was written for a Toronto FS group newsletter in 2005.

In the last one or two years, Xuan Kong Da Gua (XKDG) becomes the latest craze on the Feng Shui training circuit. Or in more blunt terms, it adds 2 or more courses to the inventory of Feng Shui trainers.

Info or “secrets" about Flying Star are abundant in published sources.  XKDG, info, however, is not as readily available.

In Hong Kong, a famous writer charges as much as HK$150k (CAD$23k) to teach you XKDG. In Taiwan, charges from US$5000 to NT$1M (CAD$39k) are not unheard of.

In 2000, Master X of Taiwan starts to publish a series of XKDG books, so it is no coincidence that XKDG begins surfacing in the west after 2000. Before Master X, GM Chan Pui San, the founder of Miao Pai XKDG, (Hong Kong) has published some info on XKDG. I can tell Master X’s books are based on GM Chan’s books.  But Master X is a better writer and good at explaining complicated concepts.

Miao Pai XKDG is known for its “sha-fighting” to enhance wealth luck.  Master X also has his own version of sha-fighting method.

In the early 90’s, GM Chan has released a major XKDG secret-- “in-gua and out-of-gua” to explain why a person suffers in a house while another prospers in the same house, or why some houses have ugly mountains/ water but do not shown any negative effects.

The probability of being “out-of-gua” (not getting the blessing or negative effects) is about 1/3.

The cornerstone of Master X’s fight-sha Feng Shui is this “in-gua and out-of-gua” theory.  Most of his cases examples shown in his books are for business located in the top side of a T-junction or cross-junction.

The formula is pretty simple, by orientating the door to face the sha (like rushing qi/ traffic) at an “out-of-gua” angle with a good XKDG date-selection, Master X claims this will convert sha energy to work wonder for the owner.

By putting the door in an “out-of-gua” angle, so the sha cannot have effect of the property— doesn’t this sound like “sha avoidance”?

From a common sense point of view, business likes exposure.  With junctions there are normally stop signs or traffic light too. By setting a business on a cross-junction or T-junction with an angled door that faces the most directions, it maximizes exposure of the business to traffic.

Can this become a “self-fulfilling prophecy”?  Will the business be just as prosperous without doing this fight-sha Feng Shui?

If you go to downtown Toronto, businesses with angled doors at a cross-junction are found almost in every block.

Finally, I would like to give you a reminder about Master X’s books. He told his students that he had purposely set missing links and traps in his books, so he can tell if someone is teaching from his books or from someone who has taken his live class. I know Master X’s sifu and he does not fight-sha.

Postscript 2010:  Lately there are noises about claims of  "sha-fighting".  Now you know how this got started.  My Taiwan sifu had studied with GM Chan Pui San (now almost 90 years old).  He told us "do not fight sha" unless your life is worthless. You don't know the long term effects of sha-fighting and you don't want to do experiments with the lives of your clients.

Does Feng Shui Shrimp need water? A case in XKDG date-selection.

I ran into an interesting Xuan-Kong-Da-Gua (XKDG) date-selection case in Hong Kong in last April.

A local master was solicited to do a date-selection for the renovation of an ancient tomb. The tomb houses the founding ancestral couple of a local clan.

The formation of this tomb is called "Literacy Shrimp Frolicking with Water" (文蝦戲水). This is a typical San He (3-harmony) job which likes to "naming imagery based on forms" (呼形喝象). The original master thought the form around the tomb looks like a shrimp playing with water. Water is also associated with intelligence and hence literacy. So this "shrimp" is a smart shrimp. By naming it "literacy shrimp", hopefully, the descendants will be learned scholars.

The local master wrote, "This is a shrimp form, if the selected day has no water (rain), the shrimp will die! If it rains, we can't initiate construction. This is really a tough job."

This is the date selected, June 12, 2007, Wu hour:

Year: Ding Hai; 8 zhen/ kun 8
Month: Bing Wu; 4 dui/ xun 3
Day: Ding Chou; 4 dui/ zhen 7
Hour: Bing Wu; 4 dui/ xun 3

"The observatory had issued a thunderstorm warning in early morning of the selected day." The local master said. "It had rained heavily in Si hour (9:01- 11am). Sunshine came out during Wu hour (11:01- 13:00). We did the renovation during Wu hour and finished within 2 hours. The sky then turned cloudy during first half of Wei hour (13:01- 14:00). By that time the cement had dried. It had rained again during the second half of Wei hour. We are fortunate to get help from heaven!"

Well, it seems even Feng Shui shrimp based on imagery needs 5-elements support. In my next post, I will tell you how to learn XKDG date-selection in an hour and how much this Hong Kong master charges for XKDG date-selection.

Door Feng Shui

A Feng Shui friend sent me the following email:

My sister wants to build a new house, so it will be a P8 house.

The plot faces N2 so the Flying Star chart can meet the criteria for a "7 Star Robbery", so according to this, she should place a door/window at the South, East and NW.

According to "Castle Gate" the Qi entrance should come from NW2.

According to the San He "12 Life Stages" a NW2 Qi entrance would be either at stage 3 or 4, so it is good, but my question is if the door must be placed at NW2, but facing N2 (same bearing as the plot) or if the door should be slanted facing NW2?

My friend tries to integrate Flying Star, "7-star Robbery", "Castle Gate" and San He's "12 Life Stages" to the house design.

I think he is making things too complicated. Although he can mix as many schools and methods as he wants if he has my "Practical Door Feng Shui" course materials. He can also easily integrate XKDG and Flying Star in 30 seconds.

"Practical Door Feng Shui" also includes the "decoders" for the word-play puzzles like the "Qian mountain Qian water" gig. Someone considers this little word-game as lineage "top-secret" on other lists. It does not worth a penny if you know the answer.

P.S.:
WARNING: DO NOT use the formula listed above. There are many missing details here. Consult your teacher/ master before applying these formula.

A FARMER AND A BUNNY

Note: The following blog was written on Feb. 23, 2005

One day, Farmer Mah took a break after working under the sun for a few
hours. He sat under the cool shade of a tree.

Suddenly he heard a "boom" noise. It seemed something hit the tree
trunk.

Farmer Mah looked around and found a fainted bunny laying on the dirt.
Mah was happy to have a bunny dinner that evening.

The next day while toiling in the field, he thought, "Why should I work
this hard? I can sit under that cool tree and wait for another
bunny."

So he sat under the tree and waited-- no bunny showed up.

Then he waited again the following day-- no bunny again.

Farmer Mah asked himself, "Why no more bunny? Do I sit at the right
angle? Does it has anything to do with my 4P, house orientation, what I
did the day when I got the bunny...."

So he did some "crime scene recreation" and retraced what he saw and
did the day he got the bunny. "The rooster crowed 4 times. I'd eaten 3
eggs and pissed 2 times. The I saw 5 nuns and stepped on some cow dung
on my way to the field...."

So farmer Mah had luopaned the tree, his house, checked his 4P and used
all possible metaphyical methods like Qi Men Dun Jia, 6-ren, XKDG,
TBBS, ZWDS.... to find out if there is any correlation with the appearance
of the bvnny, imageries and numbers that he had encountered in that
lucky day.

Mah had worked so hard to find out how to get the bunny again that he
no longer worked the field and grass grew all over.

Farmer Mah had lost track of time, but one day he was overcome with joy
and yelled, "I've cracked the secret! XKDG said that date was my lucky
day, QMDJ said I walked the lucky direction and where I'd stepped on
the cow dung is the weakness point of the bunny luck system....."

Using a multitude of metaphysics systems, Mah was able to fit some
facts a bit here and there.

With his new-found secret, do you think Farmer Mah will wait for bunny
under the tree again?

(Answer below)

Ken Lai

http://www. kenlaifengshui.com

===================================
PS: This story was based on a Chinese fable.

Answer: No, Farmer Mah did not wait for bunny again. Instead he had
become "Master Mah" and taught FS seminars on how to win lottery and
animal-racing. When the gig did not work out, he became a "motivational
speaker".

Xuan Kong Da Gua-- a discussion

Note: This blog was written on Jan. 21, 2004
In the last 12 months or so, there seems to be a "Xuan
Kong Da Gua" (XKKDG) "gold-rush"--- for the FS
marketers. Almost everyone is itching to set up XKDG
class of some sorts. XKDG classes are normally around
5 days in length, with a dose of I-Ching class as
pre-requisite.

To keep this discussion simple and as unbiased as
possible, I won't argue whether XKDG theory is valid
or not and working or not. I just examine it from a
scientific and methodological point of view.

EVOLUTION OF THE CHINESE LUOPAN
As I have written previously, the history of luopan
development is a progression of from simple to
complex. Early luopans had few divisions, then 24
mountains, 60 dragons (divisions), 72 dragons, 120
dragons, 240 dragons and then up until now, 384 "yaos"
(that is 64 hexagrams x 6 yaos).

XKDG has 64 hexagrams which occupy 5.625 degrees each.
Each hexagram has 6 "yaos" (yin _ _ yang __ symbols)
with each yao taking up 0.9375 degree.

DA GUA MEASUREMENT PROBLEMS
Then we may ask, how precise luopan measurements were
when the XKDG theory was developed 4- 500 years or so
ago? Afterall, it is rumoured that Master Jian Da
Hong hinted he had used XKDG principles in his trick
songs (poems). It is also rumoured that Master Shen
(author of "Shen's XK Studies") had "almost" included
XKDG in his book except he had missed the deadline.

An excellent source of info about luopan history can
be found in Professor Chen Jian Jun's book, "Chinese
FS Compass" (ISBN7-5390-1430-x/K.5, available in
Chinese or English). In this book, it seems luopans
made during Ming Dynasty (1368- 1644) were mostly
"water compass" (using a floating needle) and both
"water" and "dry" compasses were used during Qing
Dynasty (1636- 1911).

How precise could an ancient "floating needle" be?
How accurate will be the needle of an ancient luopan?
Could they measure down to 0.9375 degree consistently?
If not, how could the ancient masters verify their
XKDG theory?

Using modern luopans and compasses as guidance, we
could see it is very doubtful that XKDG measurement
could be achieved by the ancient masters consistently.

According to Professor Vic Schmidt,(Dept. of Geology &
Planetary Science, University of Pittsburgh), even
modern precision compasses like the Brunton or Suunto,
has problem to attain accuracies of better than one
degree.

So how about about our modern luopans? It is common
knowledge that even the best branded luopans are
accurate to at most plus or minus one degree. This
will either "hit' or "miss" a DG measurement of 0.9375
degree.

REALITY CHECK
For the sake of discussion, let's assume the ancient
masters could consistently do DG measurements down to
0.9375 degree.

To keep it simple, let me quote Professor Schmidt
here,

"I maintain that anyone who claims to be able to
attain accuracy to better than 0.6 degree in a magnetic
survey is deluding themselves.

As I pointed out a while back, failure to keep track
of the long-term secular variation in Earth's field
can easily throw you off by much more, with it
amounting to up to 0.2 degree per year in many places.

And it is strictly cumulative, so if you use
10-year-old map data, you can easily be off by a full
degree (all the time!)."

We know in flying star there is 24 mountains and each
mountain has 15 degrees to "play with". So assuming
your orientation is not too close to the borderline
(or void line) with another mountain, the changing
of the earth's magnetic field by one or two degrees
over the years won't "throw" you out of the mountain.
Flying Star has pretty good tolerance on the earth's
magetic variations.

At 0.2 degree cumulative variations per year, a DG
measurement of 0.9375 degree can be easily become
invalid in a few years. Then this would have been a
lot of testing for the ancient masters. How many
lifetimes could they have in the last few hundred
years to do testing?

CONCLUSION
You have to make your own conclusion whether the
ancient masters could have done sufficient DG
measurements and testing of XKDG theory, given
the ancient "water" and "dry" luopan technology.

Could you do consistent DG measurements with modern
luopan and compass?

How XKDG handle earth's magnetic variations?

In simple terms, is XKDG practical? Is it just
another case of "misplaced precision"?

My sifu taught me XKDG in 20 minutes. I'll teach my
students how to use it in 5 minutes, if they want to
learn it. It is not difficult to integrate XKDG into
the popular Flying Star method.

Personally, I won't write off XKDG, but I won't spend
too much resources on it either.

=========================================
Postscript: Now is August 2007, XKDG is not as "hot". But there is still a new one coming out recently charging
US$1900 for 2 days of class. It's ad sounds like magic-- you can get whatever you want with it.

Date-selection and Imperial QMDJ

Note: The followings are feedbacks from my students in date-selection and Imperial QMDJ classes.

Dear Ken,

My apologies for not writing for so long - I have been
busy. I am so glad that the date selection course has
been well-received. The true knowledge of date
selection have so far been the exclusive knowledge of
a select few. It has been said that date selection is
even harder than Feng Shui because the more date
selection you know, the fewer good dates are
available. So, it is not a matter of knowing a few
methods, but rather knowing which ones work. For
example, if XKDG says this is a good day, it may still
be a bad day because it is the real san sha. Laying
out this information is vital, so that people do not
hurt themselves by accidentally setting off bad
influences, which can then be very hard to correct.

It is my hypothesis that date selection will turn out
to be even more important the Feng Shui in the modern
day context, as its effects are faster and possibly
more long-lasting. I have known Feng Shui clients who
have suffered from bad Feng Shui because the original
move-in date was wrong. When this happens, the pattern
is imprinted onto the qi-blueprint of the house, and
is very difficult to erase. I will be looking forward
to test your talismans on these houses, and I think
you may be right when you say that this will help to
change the qi-field.

I am very impressed by the sample iLuopan that you
sent me. The simplicity is powerful, but I wonder if
you should be releasing this just yet, because of the
number of people who are copying the QMDJ course
material. I think that this is a very original and
unique approach, but should perhaps only be given to
your seminar participants. Your introduction of QMDJ
to the western world has done a great deal to further
the state of Chinese metaphysics.

Feng Shui, date selection and the Chinese mystical
arts have to be used in conjunction for them to be
effective. It is heartening to see that Feng Shui has
become so well-known. It is time for the remaining
secrets to be revealed. Not that many have the karma
to learn from you, but I know those who do will
benefit from what you have to offer.

Yours truly,

Lee

IQMDJ are backordered so far -- I don't know when to
stop working on it even orders are piling up.

Positive results of using Imperial QMDJ have been reported
from Mexico and elsewhere. Today I got a new one:

"I have used (QMDJ Luopan) now already so many times
for my Husband and he is totally stunned by the
results... only problem now he will not do anything
anymore without consulting me in a matter of QMDJ and
FS.

This is now nearly 6 month ago , Contracts he had what
went dead I activated with QMDJ there are now in full
bloom again , he is so amazed about it.

You must know my Husband never believed much in FS or
in QMDJ or XKDG but since 6 Month he find the whole FS
and QMDJ awesome."
