Simple Health, Academic and Relationship Feng Shui

When one walks into a house, one could easily predict if the residents have health problems or not.  It sounds like magic but it is really simple after you have read this article.

In Feng Shui, a house can also represent the body of the residents.  A house is divided into 8 sectors along the Bagua or 8-trigrams theory.  Each sector represents certain family member and organ.  For example, northwest or Qian sector represents the father or oldest male of the house.  It also represents the head or lungs in a body.

We keep it simple here by focusing on the location of bathroom (toilet) and kitchen locations and its effect on the health and other aspects of the residents.

KITCHEN/ TOILET LOCATION AND RESIDENT HEALTH
According to Yi-Jing ("Book of Changes"), "Fortune and misfortune are attributable to movement.".  Kitchen and toilet have the most traffic or movements within a house.  So its location has significant effects on the well-being of the residents.

If kitchen or toilet is in the northwest side of a house, the oldest male or father of the house will have less luck or someone has headache or lung problem.  Northwest is the Qian trigram location and stands for father.

If kitchen or toilet is in the southwest side of a house, the oldest female or mother of the house is likely a weakling or someone has spleen or  stomach problems.  Southwest is the Kun trigram location and stands for mother.

If kitchen or toilet is in the east side of a house, the eldest son or 40+ years old male of the house is likely has mental problem or someone has liver or gallbladder problems.  Southwest is the Zhen trigram location and stands for eldest son.

If kitchen or toilet is in the southeast side of a house, the eldest daughter or 40+ years old female of the house may lack luck or someone has liver or gallbladder problems.  Southeast is the Xun trigram location and stands for eldest daughter.

If kitchen or toilet is in the north side of a house, the middle son or middle-age   male  of the house is likely having little or no luck or someone has kidney or urological problems.  Southwest is the Kan trigram location and stands for middle son.

If kitchen or toilet is in the south side of a house, the middle daughter or middle-age female of the house is likely having little or no luck or someone has heart or blood vessels problems.  South  is the Li  trigram location and stands for middle daughter.

If kitchen or toilet is in the northeast side of a house, the youngest son or young or teenage male of the house is likely having little or no luck or someone has stomach or spleen problems.  Southwest is the Gen trigram location and stands for youngest son.

If kitchen or toilet is in the west side of a house, the youngest daughter or young or teenage female of the house is likely having little or no luck or someone has respiratory problems.  Southwest is the Dui trigram location and stands for youngest daughter.

TOILET LOCATION,  ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AND RELATIONSHIP

Toilet location may also affect the academic performance of your children.  Make sure the location representing your kid has no toilet.  Another precaution is the 4-academic star location of your house should have no toilet on it or the academic performance of the residents suffer.

For women live in a house with toilet in Qian (NW) sector of the house, they are likely have problem keeping a man in the house or the man has weak character and/or does not want to stay home.

In search of the "Human Bagua" I

A student asks these questions:  What is "Middle Heaven Bagua"? How come it is rarely seen or mentioned in traditional Feng Shui books?

Bagua or "8-trigrams" was created by the mythical ruler Fu Xi (伏羲, around 2800 BC).  It is the oldest binary symbol system in the world.  It started with "void" or nothingness to tai-ji or the "yin-yang fish" symbol.  The tai-ji evoles to "yin" and "yang" as represented by one line and two broken lines.  After 2 more iterations, the system of 8-trigrams or "bagua" emerges:   QIAN乾 ☰,  KUN坤 ☷,  LI离 ☲,  KAN坎 ☵,  ZHEN震 ☳,  XUN巽 ☴,  DUI兌 ☱ and  GEN艮 ☶   (Color stands for the elemental nature of the trigram).

"Bagua" becomes the building blocks of Chinese civilization including metaphysics.  It is also probably the first creation model using binary symbols.  Yi-Jing or "Book of Changes" elaborates the functions and interactions of bagua elements.

The Yi-Jing or Zhou-yi (周易) that we have today is part of a trilogy of:
  1. Lian Shan Yi (連山易)--  Lian Shan means  "continuous mountains" in Chinese.  Pre-heaven Bagua is based on this classic.  The initiating trigram is Gen(艮).
  2. Gui Cang Yi (歸藏易) Gui Cang means "return and in storage" in Chinese.   The initiating trigram is Kun (坤).
  3. Zhou-yi (周易)-- Zhou stands for King Wen of Zhou Dynasty.  Post-heaven Bagua is based on this classic. The initiating trigram is Qian (乾).
Unfortunately, Lian Shan Yi and Gui Cang Yi had been lost though part of their texts were quoted in Zhou-yi and other classics.

Chinese metaphysics always talks about the "Three components" or "San Cai" (三材)-- "Heaven,  Human and Earth" (some people translated it as "holy trinity" or "cosmic trinity", too religious and value-laden for me).  In terms of Feng Shui applications, Pre-heaven bagua stands for the heaven aspects and Post-heaven bagua for the earth aspects. Logically some people will look for  the "human bagua" or the "Middle Heaven Bagua" because human beings stand between heaven and earth.

There are numerous versions of "Middle Heaven Bagua" created by the curious souls or metaphysics marketers over the centuries.  Here I will show you two versions that are more "reasonable" because they are based on the bits and pieces of  Lian Shan Yi and Gui Cang Yi as quoted in Zhou-yi or other ancient texts.

Time for a nap.  If you come back next time, I will show you a top middle-heaven bagua secret-- no affinity or money needed.

"Earth Deity 101" or know your .....

Traditionally speaking, if someone is very good at FS,
people call him "Earth Deity". For example, Master
Yang-Save-the-Poor was regarded as one of the "Earth
Deities".

This tradition carries on in Taiwan and to some
extent, in Hong Kong. So now you should know that
"master" and and "GM" titles are not that great.
"Earth Deity" is the ultimate title that people bestow
on a FS practitioner.

It is easy to have your pals or students to label you
as "master" or "GM", but it won't be easy to achieve
the "earth deity" title nowadays.

However, getting people to call you "Semi-Earth Deity"
is a piece of cake, just make sure you don't doze off
during this talk.

The following case will show you the principle.

A client of mine bought a 4000 sq. ft. rambler (single
level house, not counting basement) on a 20000 sq.
ft. lot. She did not give me any info about the house
other than it was built in 1951. These are what I saw
outside that house:

-- L-shaped house, with the "L" laid down (like a 7),
so the right side of house is longer and pointing at
opposite direction of the facing.
-- the house is sitting east and facing west.
-- a big swimming pool in the east side.
-- the house is located in a corner lot, at the
junction of a main road and side street, so the road
looks like a semi-circle embracing the rambler.
-- the ming-tong (phoenix) is huge, almost 200 ft from
the main door to the road, and then another half a
mile of space across the street.
-- there are trees surrounding the house, but a giant
willow tree stands on the northwest side of the house
-- a sharp roof-top of the left side neighbor's house
points at the southwest side of this house.

Based on these form info, before I entering the house,
I told the client," This house is good for wealth.
The previous owner should have good wealth luck. The
females in this house are strong-willed or dominant
over men. Poor spousal relationship. Husband cheats.
The couple might have been divorced. The female head
of the house might have a major accident or illness.
I will tell you when the event has occurred and the
nature of sickness or accident when I do some
calculations later."

My client was staring at me like that I'm a psychic.

She bought the house from a friend who is a local TV
personality. This TV woman makes (let's call her Jane)
over US$1M a year. Jane got divorced with husband
after moving into this house. Client said Jane's
ex-hubby flirts with women even in the presence of
Jane.

Jane had a freak accident a few years ago and caused
some severe problems to her XXXXX (can't disclose or
people here can identify this person) and stopped her
from performing. Before my client told me about the
sickness, I was able to tell her when it had happened
and what part of the body had problem.

Client's husband is a medical specialist in treating
Jane's problem. Jane also has communication problems
with her 2 teenage daughters.

My client now treats every word I say as the ultimate
truth. Scenario like this one, if happens in Taiwan,
can easily get me a "Semi-earth Deity" title from
client.

This part of the lecture is called "Earth Deity 101"
because I'm going to show you how e-a-s-y it is to do
something like this.

In order to make predictions like the above, you have
to know the meanings and representations of ba gua,
like northwest is qian, represents father, oldest male
in the house, head, lungs, bones; southwest is kun,
represents mother, oldest female in the house, spleen,
stomach, and the likes. Then you need to have basic
knowledge of forms, like the 4 animals model-- green
dragon, white tiger, phoenix and black turtle.
Additional knowledge of Purple White Method, Flying
Star and San He calculations will enhance the accuracy
of your predictions, but not essential.

Do you want to try explaining the above example with
your knowledge of ba gua?

8-star, living talisman and super-cleanser

Note: The following blog was written on May 31, 2006

My next door neighbor Eric has adopted a 4-month old
black puppy from the local Animal Humane Society.

The puppy looked scared when I first met it. So I put
my hand over its forehead for 30 seconds and at the
same time "blahing" a little bit.

"Dogs can see ghosts, especially black dogs.
Sometimes you see a dog bark at nothing. It is likely
barking at some ghosts."

Eric looked at my hand and thought what the hell I was
doing with his dog.

"Some dogs will drive ghosts away. But the bad one
will invite the ghosts into your home!".

The puppy looked relaxed and happy after absorbing my
energy.

For the next few days, Eric tried to figure out what I
had done to his puppy.

Well, I know you want to know too....

If you read through this article, you will even find
out how to get your 8-star almost FREE. But you have
to read something about Ken Lai's latest course.
Don't worry, I'll NOT take order or collect money
here.

.......

I have just finished writing the manual (200+ pages)
for "Daoist Talismans for Feng Shui and Blessings".
This course was prepared per the request of my Mexican
and Polish sponsors. So they will be the first two to
enjoy (or suffer) the course.

Here is some blah (get your pillow ready!)...

This is the first Daoist talismans class introduced to
the west! Talismans are the symbols and language for
people to communicate with spirits, ghosts and gods.
It can request actions from deities and order ghosts
and spirit to perform according to the orders of the
talisman.

Talismans are more popular than you have thought.
Most religions, like Buddhism and Catholicism, have
chants and incantations for communication with their
deities. These chants and incantations are
essentially "verbal talismans" that last only when
they are spoken out. Talisman in written form is like
a storage of energy derived from deity and the
talisman writer. It lasts much longer than the verbal
version.

Daoist talisman system is one of the most potent and
strongest intention, belief, expectation and
energy-based tools in the world. The symbols,
language, incantations and rituals involved in the
creation of task-specific talismans are very
intention-specific, belief-specific and goal-specific.
It creates a very potent manifestation ("making
things happen") and goal-specific behaviors for the
clients of talisman. It is also very powerful in
offering protection from misfortune, evils and
sickness.

Many "grand master" grade teachers also use talismans
to compliment their FS practices.

(If you are still awake, here is the "beef"!)

In this course, I will teach you:
1. Basic Chinese writing
2. Common Feng Shui talismans that compliment Feng
Shui remedies, especially those that are humanly
impossible to fix, like moving a mountain.
3. Talismans for improvement and protection of daily
life
4. Create your own Talisman based on your own belief
and language.

Benefits of Talisman-drawing:
1. Complementing the inadequacy of available Feng Shui
remedies
2. Improving relationship both inside and outside
family
3. Improving well-being-- in terms of health and
wealth
4. Protection from misfortune and unwelcome spirits
and ghosts
5. Meditative
6. Artistic

Other than you need to believe in the existence of
spirits and deities, you do not need to believe in
Daoism or change your own personal religion.

TALISMAN COLLECTIONS INCLUDED:
General Purpose Talismans:
Marital relationship
Family harmony
Fertility
Blessing
Safety
Romance/ love
Interpersonal relationship
Legal problem/ gossip

TALISMAN FOR FENG SHUI REMEDIES
When the remedies are beyond human effort, like moving
a huge mountain or someone cannot afford to move, then
talismans are used to change the magnetic field of the
environment.

Feng Shui Talismans for:
Construction/ moving-in
Form sha-- metal, wood, water, fire and earth
Road and bridge sha-- T-junction, sickle-sha,
spear-sha,
Temple, pagoda, trees, etc
Doors
Bedrooms/ beds
Kitchen
Bathroom
Wealth-enhancing talismans for residence or business
Academic
Grand Duke/ Sui-po/ San Sha
General Star (dislikes form-sha in it's direction)

......

Well, I know you are very excited now and about to
pull out your wallet to register for the course....

Sorry pals, I've no plan to teach this class to
English-speaking people yet. If you speak Spanish,
you can go to Mexico City next month (6/9- 6/11) or if
you speak Polish, then go to Poland in October (19-
22) to take the class.

......

Now the ultimate secret that you have been waiting
for.... the living 8-star that walks and is almost
FREE.

Imagine you can have a 8-star that walks around your
house....

According to bagua or trigrams, Gen is also
represented by dog. Gen is 8-star. So dog is the
living and walking 8-star. If the 8-star of your
house is stuck or imprisoned or falls into the toilet,
you can get a dog to energize your house-- simply go
to your local Animal Human Society to get one for
close to free.

In a way, the dog also functions as a "living
talisman".

Disclaimer: If the dog soils your carpet and chews
your chairs, do not bill me.

Since you have been very patient, here is an ultimate
tip....

Today (May 31, 2006) is Dragon Boat Festival.
According to Chinese legend, today is the "yang-est"
day of the year. So you wait till noon (wu hour) and
collect a few gallons of water (can be from your tap)
and stash it away. This water is very "yang" in
nature and can be use to "cleanse" anything (like your
house, in this case, spray your house) and drive away
unclean or "yin" entities.

---------
Hey Ken, what did you do to the puppy?

I just telepathically told the puppy, "Don't peeve on
my lawn!"
