Should you live in a "cul-de-sac commune"?
Before we begin, this message is not about the advantages and disadvantages or political correctness of "cul-de-sac commune" living. It simply examine the idea from Form Feng Shui perspective.
A "cul-de-sac commune" is formed when residents of a dead-end street with a cul-de-sac are joined together like the old co-op in the past, to share resources, friendship and services. For more info, check the following link:

Should you live in a"cul-de-sac commune"? It all depends on the location of your house in the street.
From Form Feng Shui perspective, houses located at a cul-de-sac endure a major Feng Shui sha or negative energy-- the "sickle sha". The curature of the cul-de-sac looks like a sickle cutting into a house. The negative effects of "sickle sha" are surgery or bloody accidents. There are Feng Shui formula used to calculate the most probably year of injury occurrence and who will get the injury (formula in my "Advanced Form Feng Shui" class).
House at a certain location on the cul-de-sac may suffer a negative energy called "White Tiger gives bouquet"-- it stands for marital infidelity.
You may ask, "Ken, there are tons of cul-de-sacs in USA and do not seem to have these problems."
This is exactly what I want you to ask! Cul-de-sac or dead-end street usually has less traffic, so the sha or negative energy is not "activated"-- but not when you have a cul-de-sac commune! There will be increased auto and human traffic that make energy moving around more frequently and may activate the negative energy.
Now returning to the question of should you live in a "cul-de-sac commune"--it is OK to live in one if your house is not within the cul-de-sac.
If there any remedies or fixes for people who already live in the cul-de-sac? Yes, there are remedies in my "Advanced Form Feng Shui" course.
