Feng Shui books and Feng Shui Schools

One corner of Ken Lai's metaphysics library

Recently I find an article on the Chinese web recommending some Feng Shui books for students.  It is interesting to me because the author has categorized these books under 14 different Feng Shui schools or "pai".

There are numerous "flavors" of Xuan-Kong Feng Shui.  The Xuan-Kong Flying Star Feng Shui practiced in the West are mostly originated from Zhang Zhong-shan Wu-Chang School.

Other than the ancient classics, most of the contemporary books are published in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

I also have about 70% of the books from this list.

Does your house have problems accumulating wealth?

How does a house "leaks" wealth or have problems accumulating wealth?

The following are ways that a house "leaks" wealth:

1. The first thing one sees when opening the front door is the stove
2. Seeing another door or windows directly upon opening the front door  (leaking wealth)
3. Too many windows in the living room (leaking energy/ qi)
4. Too many windows in the bedroom (leaking qi, not accumulating qi)
5. Wealth position* has a sink/ water tap (leaking wealth)
6. Living room is small (indoor ming-tang, limits wealth potential) 
7. Space outside the main door is very small (limits wealth potential)
8. Tall building or mountain in front of house, creating pressure to residents
9. There is a beam over the wealth position (means working very hard for money)
10. There is a road at the back of the house  (leaking qi)
11. There is a road at the right side of the house (leaking qi/ wealth)

Bazi: Diabetes

Note:  Below is an excerpt from Ken Lai's "Applied Bazi: Sickness Forecasting and Management" course manual.

DIABETES

In Bazi, diabetes is related to kidney functioning and the water element.  However, the causes of diabetes are multi-dimensional like heredity, obesity, exercise, diet, psychological, emotional, virus infection, immunity, chemical/ medical interactions, gestation and more.

Based on the birth chart analyses of diabetes patients, the energy fields when the patients were born can predict the occurrence of diabetes.  These energy fields are translated into stems and branches used in Bazi analyses to make predictions on potential future sickness of each individual.

Occurrence of diabetes can be predicted to 90% accuracy, when a Bazi chart has one or more of the following scenarios:

• metal and fire elements battling
• charred earth brittles metal
• brittle metal cannot nurture water (so water is dried)

ANALYSIS OF DIABETIC BAZI CHARTS

1.  DM born in fire month, fire day and fire hour with "metal and fire battling" and no water in stem level-- 95% chance of getting diabetes. For examples,

Avoid "Double Deaths" days for funerals 重丧日

It is not unusual to read from the news that some families have serial or multiple deaths within a short period of time-- whether due to natural or tragic causes or both.

Besides explanations of bad luck, destiny or misfortune, one possible reason is something goes wrong with the funeral date.

In Chinese date-selection, there are days deemed "double-deaths" (重丧日) days.  If a deceased family member was buried in one of this "double-deaths" days, at least one more death will likely happen within a year.

The follow days are the "double-deaths" dates.  They are in terms of lunar month and days in binomials.  Check the appendix below shows how you can check if a funeral date is a double-deaths day.

Avoid a "double-deaths" day for funeral like plaque.

The following lists the double-deaths days in terms of the 12 lunar months:

Yin (tiger) month 寅月
Days:  geng-zi 庚子日, geng-yin 庚寅日, geng-chen 庚辰日
Days:  geng-wu 庚午日,  geng-shen 庚申日, geng-xu 庚戌日

Mao (rabbit) month 卯月
Days:  xin-chou 辛丑日, xin-mao 辛卯日, xin-si 辛巳日
Days:  xin-wei 辛未日, xin-you 辛酉日, xin-hai 辛亥日

Chen (dragon) month 辰月

APPENDIX: how to check if your funeral date is a double-deaths day
1.  Log into http://bazi-calculator.com/
2.  Type in the possible funeral date; hour optional
3.  For gender, choose "M" (male)
3.  Click "Calculate" button
4.  Ignore the table on the right, just look at the left "Birth Chart".
4.  Counting from RIGHT to left, Check the lower box of  the second column.  This is the month box.  For example,  August 20, 2016 (see photo here), month is "Shen" or monkey.
4.  Check the third "Day" column of the table in the left side-- example here shows a "jia-xu" day.
5.  This column shows if your possible funeral day is one of the 6 double-deaths days shown in your target month here.  By checking "Shen month" above, we found Jia-xu day is one of the 6 double-death days.

Venereal disease and Bazi

Note:  Below is an excerpt from the reference manual of my upcoming video correspondence course "Applied Bazi:  Sickness Forecasting and Management". 

VENEREAL DISEASE AND BAZI

In Bazi, shang-guan (+output) relates to lust, sexual desire, indulgence, willfulness or "open minded". Shang-guan (SG) also represents the genital of both male and female.  

When shang-guan in a chart is clashed or penalized or hurt, it could mean venereal disease for the daymaster (DM).

If a chart does not have any shang-guan, shi-shen (SS or -output) will take its place.  If both SG and SS do not show up in a chart, look for the source of SG/SS-- bi-jian or jie-cai (peer stars).  If none of the above shows up, day-branch will represent DM's genital.  It also represents DM's sex life, belief and behaviors.

Charts with the following characteristics are prone to venereal diseases (VD):

1.  Shang-guan (SG) is too strong or too weak

SG is too strong means daymaster (DM) has more love and sexual drive demands.  S/he may look for multiple partners and hence higher chance of getting VD.  Also SG too strong itself is a sign of illness.  SG too weak is likely to get VD infection-- likely to happen when it is clashed or subdued by luck period.

2.  Unfavorable element ("annoying god") sits on day-branch

This implies that DM's body, especially the lower part or the genital, is prone to infection for male or gynecological sickness for female.

3.  Day-branch is clashed by an excessive strong element (aka "sickness god")

This implies a potential sickness may happen in the lower part of DM's body.  This sickness relates to the genital for male or gynecological sickness for female.  DM should be careful with his/ her sex life and partners.

 

4.  Output star/s are clashed or combined

DM with weak output star under this condition is prone to impotence. DM with strong output star under this condition has strong sexual energy.  The strength level of output star in a chart reflects the sexual prowess of a person.  Strong DM with strong output stars has strong sexual energy.  Weak DM with strong output stars has strong sexual desire but cannot "perform".   

5.  Day-branch is too cold or too hot

Day branch is sat by fire and fire energy is too strong in chart (and no water to adjust temperature), DM is likely have problem in semen production and prone to flu/ cold or gynecological sickness or VD.

Tree location Feng Shui Bible

I have just added this "Tree Location Bible" into the manual of my "Advanced Visual Form Feng Shui." video correspondence course   I share the major message here even the explanatory "notes" about how positive or negative is not included here.  The table is still usable as is  (Note: with the notes, you may maximize the benefits and do remedial works).

This is probably the first public systematic and precise English presentation of tree location in Feng Shui-- in one table.  The locations are classified in standard 24 mountains Feng Shui notation with corresponding degrees for easy reference.  You can still understand this contents even if you do not have any Feng Shui knowledge.

Can you figure out the rationale behind the auspiciousness or inauspiciousness behind each location? It is easy to answer  IF you are familiar with your Feng Shui ABC-- trigrams, Bagua representations and 5-elements theory.
